Calm and quiet place. Lake is wonderful. There are restaurants and facility for boating. Also can catch fish. Kids can pass time on their own. A place to hangout with friends and family.

A very nice and natural place to get a calm walk around. It has a walking lane and nice forest with many different trees and birds around. It is located near a water area where one can swim. Has a nice grassy area for barbeque and eating together. Has some kiosks if one want to buy icecream or coffee and the like. I have been there many many times and every time I go there I love it and want to go there again and again.

The hotel wasnt within the castle, quite disappointed. The rooms have no character, look like a 3-star hotel. Bit of a letdown

Beautiful in winter, beautiful in early spring. Will probably be very popular as the weather gets better. Castle visits closed due to Covid.

Nice place for a quick trip from Uppsala city. The castle is by the water and perfect for long walks.
