Not a bad whole foods, but also not the best. Meat section could be better in terms of customizing orders, as well as more hot food bar options. A cold pressed juice bar would be a good addition. Service at the beer bar can be improved in terms of customer service. Good tap selection typically.

Only walked in Whole Foods once and was shocked at the prices I saw for the simplest items.
I must admit I am not organically oriented - by eating habits or budget. But there is a big Customer base for this type of business in Bellingham.
It is too bad that this store helped to force the locally owned Terra organic store out of business.
They have brews on tap and you can shop for groceries.
Great selection of hard ciders and indie beers. Oh yeah, also salad/dinner bar by pound... huge selection.
Clean and well stocked. Very well layed out. Would like to see more local meats and fish. Lots of previously frozen.

I love this store. Prices are a bit much. Being an Amazon Prime member has discounts on items for pick up or delivery in some areas. Food quality is great!
Huge range of items in a well laid out store. Hot bar and salad bar had lots of really yummy food on offer. Clean and tidy presentation too. Yes they are a little pricey as the rumors suggest but there are benefits to having a larger selection all under one roof.
This whole for in Bellingham didn't have as much as the seattle and bellevue store.
My family jokes that this place should be called "Whole Paycheck." My dad went to buy a head of cauliflower here, and it cost 8 DOLLARS! It's basically the same kind they sell at Fred Meyer, (which only costs 2 or 3 dollars.) They also say "Against Animal Cruelty" but they still sell meat. Everything here is overpriced. Unless your looking for specific organic foods, shop at Fred Meyer instead.

IDK who this review is for. I mean, if you're into the kinda stuff Whole Foods sells, at the kinda prices they sell it, then go for it. But for your average Joe, it's gonna be a hard pass. Also, if you're into all this kinda stuff, you might as well shop local and go to the co-op.
Clean, stocked immaculately, food seems ornamental, did not look like much activity happens throughout the day unfortunately, because the produce department looks undisturbed.
Otherwise the staff are friendly and helpful. More people ought to shop here, disturb the produce a little.
The deli is the busiest area, it doesn't seem to be Whole Paycheck, as reputed, but it is pricey.
The model doesn't seem to suit the younger population, hence the undisturbed produce department.
The selection of dairy and yogurt treats is good as I quickly found local Kefir. I have only ever done small transactions here, but it's a nice option nearby, as it is a premium to get organic goods in my household, and the co-op is across town.
The beer and pizza area is a fantastic touch! Great hot bar and salad bar. Like any Whole Foods, the staff is friendly and the selection is pretty good. Not a cheap adventure, though.
I wish whole Foods would improve the quality of its coffee shop. It is convenient to get a cup of Joe along with pastry, but I get my pastry and go somewhere else for the coffee, since their coffee has a sour note like your are drinking instant coffee.
Absolutely love whole foods market, they have many amazing organic foods, as well as farm raised selections and now with free delivery; it's brilliant. Being a new mom and a family with 1 car this makes things so amazing for our household! They are always early, no contact, bags are packed with care and set in a thoughtful location on my porch. All freezer items are packed in bags to keep them cool as well. I definitely recommend whole foods and their delivery service!
I purchased skate wings at Bellingham store and found the seafood smell like ammonia and horrible on 12/7/2019. After baking the wings, I bit one piece of them and discarded the remains. I got diarrhea. I texted whole foods customer service to let them know they should take food inspection more seriously. There was no response at all.
Very disappointed! Their seafood department was friendly although.

Incredible to have something like a Whole Foods in little Bellingham. As I think about what the world had access to, it seems even more amazing. Sure I could nit pick here and there, but why when there is so much good they offer. BUT, their prices are absurd. Thus four stars.

Nice and friendly place to get a few specialty items. Tasty baked goods and fun variety of veggies and.. kombucha I guess?? I don't take advantage of the $3 pint happy hour enough! (Also applies to wine pour heheh). 4-7 pm. Great variety on tap! Something to please everyone.
Great place. The staff were so knowledgeable and helpful to my wife and I. Their wood fire pizza place inside looked awesome. I will definitely stop by the next time I am in Bellingham. I need to take a better look at their local beer and local fruit selection.
This review is for the smoothie bar/coffee shop only. The dozen or so times I ve gone, not once have a received service that would be framed acceptable. At best, I ve had two employees ignore me while they finish their conversation with each other, at worst(20 min ago) I ve been met with a begrudging attitude. As if I m a huge interruption to doing nothing. I don t leave many reviews, but the customer service coming from that part of the store is too consistently inadequate for management not to be made aware. The rest of the staff has always been great.

I am under the distinct impression the managers here, hate customers.
The food on the hot bar is rarely fresh, the portions at the stations are minimal, and the customer is constantly bombarded with the "no tipping" messages around the food counters - I'd much rather be given fresh food, decent portions and an opportunity to tip.
I've gotten sick every time I've eaten from their deli, sliced turkey, premise salads, doesn't matter. I don't know what's happening in the back but it's not good.

We love going to whole foods. So many healthy and tasty options. I love the vegan chocolate mousse. And they offer student discount with id on Tuesday's.
It's a specialty market so you can't complain about the cost of you're shopping here lol. Everything is great though. Good produce and everything. Good customer service and fresh food made just for you also.
You always know what you're going to get when you go to a Whole Foods Market. However this store didn't seem to have the same stock as most. Very pricey for what you get but also good quality stuff as a rule.

Very nice Wholefoods. Spacious setup, great placements of everything, well thought out. Handmade pizzas, bar seatings, open cantinas seating too. Great place for family as well.
