Whole Foods Market Bellingham Review

Salad bar prepared foods selection is extremely limited. Probably the worst whole foods I've ever been to. Burrito bar is pretty good.

Only grocery store that is actually fun to shop at ! Pricey but great quality!

Generally friendly, a bit hipster. Not very busy when I've been there so it's a quick check out.

Lots of food options from economical to spendy. A self-help food bar to cooked items. Produce and meats are well displayed. Associates are very helpful and friendly.

A convenient location, quality food and the deli is by far the best deli in town! Highly recommend!

Craft beer on tap and pizza made on site. What is there not to like?
Grocery food is definitely towards the healthy side and don't always have your traditional brands available.

Emma B is the most helpful Whole Foods worker. She is very knowledgeable of the products and a beautiful friendly face when I go in. I look forward to seeing her whenever I go into hole foods

I love the generous isle space and atmosphere of this store. More samples please! Too expensive so I am giving it only 4 stars.

Awesome workers, however the prepared foods need a revamp. The pizza was awesome back at opening but now is a flat, soggy affair. Happy hour $3 pints are great!

Update: It s always best to give the feedback to the store. After reviewing on google maps, Whole Foods asked me to submit the feedback to an online form. Then the online form had issues and I had to clarify things. Then they gave me the number to the store. Silly process.

Nicest staff in town and awesome selection of both everyday value pantry items and specialty items. I love the smoked in house fish and the house made tortilla chips!

This has absolutely great food, healthy food choices , and an awesome atmosphere. Seems to be much busier than last stores in that location over the last 30 years. I can see why. Its exciting to see all those good choices and prices. Good coffee. Good pizza. ALL IS GOOD. Great meeting place!

Nice atmosphere but everything is expensive. I go for their beer and bakery sections

You can find a lot of alternative foods here (think vegan substitutes) however, the prices are on the expensive side and I've found aphids on every bit of green produce I've purchased here. Hopefully, they will get their aphid problem under control. Until then, I will be purchasing my produce from Fred Meyer and the farmers market.

Pizza was good...but a tad greasy. Nice environment but crazy expensive.

You have to have Amazon Prime to get out the store with any money left in your pocket. And it is way too confusing and the app doesn't work half the time and they don't offer the discount unless you jump threw hoops to prove you have Amazon Prime. Sorry this is too complicated just to buy food, much easier to save money on quality food down the street at Haggens or Freedys

I love it here, you can definitely get groceries somewhere else at a lower cost, but you can't get so many of the housewares, toiletries and in store made goodies anywhere else in the area. I could also eat here all the time, such a great variety of quality meal options.

It's one of those places that you love until they make a mistake. Then the mistake is so dumb that you don't care to go back.

I used to love love love Whole Foods. Its very different now. The vibe is certainly changed. But I do enjoy the produce when I go and they have some healthy alternatives I dont find easily elsewhere. That said, man I wish the old...meaning 5 years ago, Whole Foods.

It has a nice open concept and is super organized. The prices are on oar for any other Whole Foods.

They could improve the bakery selection of goodies. I am used the the selection in Vancouver :) However it's slightly better than the Kahala store in terms of bakery.

I love the open eating area that includes a wide variety of foods along with a choice of beverages. Not sure who drinks wine or beer in a grocery store, but you have that option.

Overall nice store. The staff in the Meat department and products are fantastic. I bought a 4 lbs beef tenderloin and they cleaned it beautifully for me. A+ The produce department was large but lots of almost rotten products out. I bought 2 or 3 items that were partially spoiled when I opened the package the next day.
I was told to call whole foods to pass on the review.

I called whole foods about my bad produce and they thanked me for the phone call.. I guess my local market sets the standard high with a 200% guarantee. Whole foods does not.

I was visiting, but was able to buy fresh hot food, pick from the salad bar, get a custom made coffee & Kombucha on tap!!!

We live in White Rock, BC and shop at Whole Foods Bellingham quite often. While we really love the store and the variety of available products not carried in Vancouver WF. We are really hoping the issues surrounding the use of a Canadian Debit card can be sorted out soon. My husband banks with TD Bank in Canada and the experiences have been hit and miss having to trick the POS pad in different ways to try and make the debit card work. It appears that other people have experienced the same. We have shopped in Bellingham for many years including the coop and have never any any problems with a TD Bank debit cared; please fix this for your Canadian shoppers!

Usually not too crazy unlike some other grocery stores. Prices are not as bad as people make them out to be, especially given the quality products. There's a lot to love here and not a lot to dislike as far as I can tell.

Over priced store. You can find most things at the local coop for less.

Great selection. Pizza is good. 4 stars because the hot buffet food are not good here consistently. They are delicious at other whole foods.
