Always great to come home to the best ice cream in the Midwest

Haven't been able to get back since 1990, but I'm sure it's even better now than it was then.

How many flavors of ice cream do you want to taste. Big, thick shakes and huge sundaes. O make it a point to have a different flavor every time I'm there. I can't leave the Quad Cities without stopping at Whitey's.

Oh dear, after 1,289,216 visits the rug was pulled from under my feet. While visiting the QC's, I made my customary pilgrimage to Whitey's. Orders an assortment of malts and shakes and slushies for the journey home to Indianapolis. Imagine my surprise to find not 1 or 2 prized malts completely wrong. Deeply depressed. Gotta brush it off and get myself together, it's just ice cream, it's just ice cream.

On the pricey side but best ice cream in the Quad Cities

Blackberry shake made w/vanilla ice cream & blackberry flavoring, NOT the blackberry chocolate chip ice cream, mango/raspberry ice cream cone is pretty awesome to. A lot of great choices here!

This location is absolutely wonderful!!! Great and friendly staff always ready to serve and make good selections if you want something different that you haven't tried!!! One of the best locations in the Quad Cities!!! A must go place!!!

The ice cream here is so tasty. I have Celiac and they are always willing to go the extra mile to keep me safe. They clean the scoop well, user fresh ice cream from the back store room, and have let me investigate ingredients on any syrups or hot fudge.

Simply the world's best ice cream shop. It feels like you're stepping back in time when you have a shake or a sundae. Last week I indulged in a banana split--it was heavenly! Great ice cream, generous and fresh toppings. Real whipped cream. Oh, my!! You've never really been to the Quad Cities unless you've been to Whitey's!

If you like ice cream, this the place for you. The flavor of shakes is only limited to your imagination. The hand crafted flavors are wonderful. The scoops are big. One of my favorite places to go.

Loved these parlors for years . So lucky both brothers were there so ee had "old days" chat. Love them.

Sales associate demonstrated that you can turn the milk shake upside-down and it will not fall out.

Wonderful as always. Had a scoop of salted caramel with a scoop of chocolate fudge brownie. Husband had blueberry shake and said it was the best ever.

Growing up in the QC area Whitey's was always a great treat. Now it's a must stop every time I get back that way.
