They've gotten a bit "upscale" feeling to it over the past 10 years or so, which I have mixed feelings about. Their additions also increased the price of their produce considerably.

I wish there were a way to review the coffee shop out back separately, as it is incredible. The young couple obviously know their coffee, as the pour-over coffee left my wife speechless. It was that good. My black coffee with a shot of salted caramel was perfect as well. We just wish there weren't about 40 yellow jackets flying all around their hut because of the sugar.

The rest of the farm is nice for a little family trip. There are places for the kids to play. Just don't expect to get great deals on produce.

Let me start by saying that I am a sucker for farm markets. I love them! When I see one, I always have to stop. However, White House Fruit Farm is the only one that I will drive an hour and a half to go to. The selection is outstanding and the prices are reasonable. You can buy fruit, including a wide variety of apples, a vast array of vegetables, locally produced meats and cheeses, the best donuts I've ever had anywhere, and a giant selection of condiments, sauces, dips, jams and jellies, and much, much more. There's also fudge, candy, snacks, cider, and bakery. Every time I go, I discover something new. I love this place!

We visited during one of the fall festival days. The place was pretty busy for a beautiful fall day and we normally enjoy our visits. The staff working has major issues handling any volume of people. The donut and checkout lines were long and every employee was unsure what lines to use for any checkout or donut area. We tried to purchase things on two different attempts. On the donut line we waited 20 minutes to finally made it to the counter. We were then told you needed a ticket. We then got back in line. At that point, they decided the tickets were to confusing and most folks went without.

It's fine to be busy and wait in lines. However, I couldn't find an employee who knew were lines started or the process. They changed things several times through the afternoon before giving into the chaos. I'd recommend that you dont come after 1pm. Donuts are low and employees tempers flare.
