A "50% off the second pair" sale sign was strategically placed in the very middle of a rack with a range of children's shoes. As I was selecting two pairs the assistant said it applied only to sandals and not any other shoes. He agreed it was misleading, but did not want to remove or alter the sign. Despite The Competition Bureau website clearly stating recommendations on what to avoid, this store seemed quite happy to mislead it's customers.

I went to a SKETCHERS SHOE STORE in Winnipeg, MB (Outlet Collection Mall) a few days ago & they would NOT let customers into their store if you did not wear a mask (yes it is their right as a private business to do so, unfortunately). They did NOT provide masks for their patrons. I said no thanks to the salesperson & did not enter the store. They LOST MY business & I will not spend MY money in their store in the future. I went to a different store to spend my money. This is a bit ridiculous as WEARING a MASK does NOT 100% PREVENT, & protect, a person from catching the terrible COVID-19 virus!! (the percentage of Manitobans getting Covid &, unfortunately, dying is very small versus most of the rest of Canada) Their store did have a limit on how many persons could be in their store at a time, which IS good. I will not be entering, or shopping at, most places of business that have this type of policy. This was THE FIRST time so far that I have encountered this. I hope retailers will be intelligent enough to realise that many customers will not spend money at their stores if they have a poor policy like this! Sketchers you had better WAKE-UP & review your bad policy.
Excellent experience at the Limeridge Hamilton location. Attentive, knowledgeable and friendly staff. They presented all sales and aspects of opportunity within the store without feeling pushy. Very very impressed. We will most definitely be back.
Great products, but why 10~15 days for shipping? And why told me 4 days after I placed my order that it didn't go through This is the worst I've ever had! And then I could not call toll free, could not find live chat agent, email response is pretty slow, order was cancelled, it's a bad customer experience, seriously, I've never had any other company's order process that is as slow as this, totally not okay.
Horrible customer service, I ordered a pair of shoes online June 1, charged June 2 and as of today July 6 have not received anything. You can't call their customer service as they are closed, I've emailed them 5 times June 21, June 23, June 25, June 26, and July 6 and opened up a ticket and no one has replied back from any of the 5 emails. Don't buy online from them, they'll steal your money.
I really had a bad experience with Sketchers Mississauga. I made an order with a promo code and was expecting the order at the due date only to wait for another 2 months without getting it. I called customer service and rather than apologize for the bad customer service, the supervisor began to act in self-defense, telling me the order was cancelled and using a caveat in the company policy that "Skechers has the right to cancel any order if they deem it fit". I would have been grateful if i received an email explaining things better or better still a call. They didn't send me any email yet claimed that they did. This is a really bad customer service experience aand changed my view about this organization. Please recruits a team that is customer-centric for your customer service, it would help a whole lot.
The mark of a good company are the individuals that make the consumer/customer experience as painless and easy as possible. This particular location fulfills this criteria, hands down. After being frustrated with an online order that wasn't properly processed, I contacted service support, who were very professional and timely in their response to my concerns. The commitment to ensuring that customers are 100% satisfied with product/services is enough reason for me to continue business with them!
This is quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. There were two pre authorizations on my credit card for shoes I had ordered, I emailed the infocanada@skechers.com that the contact centre tells you to email, asking if I can still cancel my order. The consumer affairs rep by the name of Danica A. told me I could still cancel my order online (and to let her know if I had any trouble doing so) so I cancelled the order online. The problem is that only 1/3 pairs of shoes I had ordered cancelled online. When I went back to check my credit card the next day I noticed that both the charges went through... since then Skechers has been ignoring my emails. I have sent approx. 8 emails asking what the status of the order is, I would like the order cancelled and refunding. Instead they continue to ignore my emails.
I am now left in limbo... I have no idea what the status of the shoes are, if I am getting them because I was charged or if I am getting refunded or if my cancellation is even successful or what. No one will answer me. (Which I find quite odd because the very first email I sent asking if I could cancel was responded too in less than half an hour) since then its been a week and I have absolutely no response while I just sit here with charges on my card that should have been cancelled and no shoes.
Not impressed with this organization and makes me think differently about them. What a gong show.
