Beautiful place but customer service could be worked on. In line to order lunch I was told that the kitchen is fully backed up and that I would have to come back to the bar in 15-30min to place my order. I said I was happy to wait as I was interesting in sampling beer and wine. The attended refuse to take my lunch order after already taking an order from another couple directly before me. Would have been good to take my order and set the expectation that there would be a delay which I was fine with since I was going to do a wine and beer tasting.

Amazing spot for a rest, beer or wine. We stoped for lunch and the food was amazing! Best beef cheese burger I ve ever had. Tried a flight of their brews for less than $10, their home made alcoholic ginger beer is delicious. Fantastic spot to relax and if not stay the night, the view is amazing also!

fantastic establishment. We camped in a van for free and had access to several game rooms, a Landry and a possible supplement for the hyper-large swimming pool with a magnificent view of the sea.
A breathtaking beach directly accessible.
Possibility of tasting beers and wines.
I highly recommend this place !!
Thank you for this beautiful complex accessible for vans also :)

Was very disappointed that the bar menu was posted as available from 2.30pm. we tried to order at 2.35 and were refused. Nothing special about the beer and the whiskey overpriced . Overall a dismal experience that we went out of our way to go to. Premises has much to offer but would suggest a change of management

great location but disappointing service. went in on a quieter day to try the wines and gin. no explanation or input from the server. told to look in the bible on the table which happened to be a small A5 binder with information printed on the different products.

A beautiful stopover on an otherwise slow trip.

A beautiful stopover on an otherwise slow trip.
The chicken burger was great, and the cob loaf and beer paddle were fantastic, and very reasonably priced, with great range of their in-house beers.

Beautiful views, with blue ocean, and very friendly, competent staff.

Highly recommended stopover.

Gorgeous place and great beers! (Being Belgian and having lived in Colorado, I know good beers ;-) beautiful views and lots of stuff to keep the kids busy while adults can taste the beers, wine, whiskey or gin!

AMAZING !!!!! Beautiful setting, delicious food, really good milk stout $8 a pint. The prices were the best we have come across yet in Tassie.
Shredded lamb in Turkish bread $20 and a seafood chowder $18, friendly staff, well laid out and a real shame we can t stay longer.

No care in getting your order done. Greeted by the girl with an unhappy face. Forgot my order- waited 20 mins for a juice. She told me she got "busy". There was no-one standing around the bar. I'm speechless. The crappiest experience I've had at any Airport bar.

SADLY this never occurred when our group of 12 decided to dine here for lunch.

Our booking was for 12.30pm and we concluded eating at 2.40pm. This was not due to our slow eating habits, but rather the incompetent service at this place. Dishes varied from Hamburgers to the Fisherman's basket to a simple bowl of fries (which arrived at 2.30pm). This is simply not good enough!

I understand that this place is busy, but to wait up to two hours for one dish is laughable!

The food was okay but nothing special...not worth the wait. If only there was an Urbanspoon page for this place...

Grrrr not happy! If you plan to come, have money ready to bribe the staff for better service. Won't be back. Also the beer is well over-priced...NO THANKS!

Food was very nice and service very good. Amazing views looking out to the water. Beers were only ok, the wine my wife had was very good though. Strongly recommend the Sauvignon Blanc for wine lovers out there. All in all worth a visit if your passing through.

Nice brewery close to the ocean. $8 gets you a paddle of 6 beers to try. Serving size a little on the small side, (photo shows before I tried any) perhaps a small and a large tasting paddle might be an idea. Would be happy to pay a bit more to get full glasses. Or just buy two I guess

This is a must visit, the Iron House Brewery has everything location, amazing friendly service and food to die for. I had Garlic Prawns and the Garden Vege Pasta you would not go hungry.
Everyone I was there with has the same opinion of there food.
We also enjoyed drinks that were brewed on the premises, Gin, beer and Gingerbeer.
Will definitely go back when we come back to Tassie.

Rubbish beer. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay at that 'brewery'. I've tasted a lot of different beer in my time and that was the worst commercial/boutique beer I've had to date. Even homebrew is better. All the beers were warmish and flat, no head and flavours were off and most certainly not to style.

The beers are great, a good selection & all full of flavour. Staff are lively legends, done well. The location is amazing. Right on Tasmania's East coast. You get the view of the amazing blue waters that go out to the Pacific, & the lush green hill landscape. So quiet & serene also. I just want to stay here & drink beer all day.

We didn t plan on going to this but I m so glad we did. Absolutely the friendliest staff I have ever come across and the views were just amazing. Very clean and modern on the inside. I got the beer paddle which had a good selection of different types of beers. Highly recommend going to this place as you drive by.

Got here a bit too early for socially responsible beer drinking so had coffee instead. Great all round; coffee, views and co. Loved it. You need to not miss this place if touring Tasmania.

The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. I was asking heals of questions about the still and beer, and the staff seemed more keen with each question I ask. I'm not one to make reviews, but they are awesome!!

Tasting paddles are good value. Food is excellent especially the lamb chops. The beer is generally very good but the Red ella has too much yeast residue which detracts from its flavour. I would recommend their Pale Ale.

Felt that this place was lacking atmosphere that you would like for a brewery or winery. We had the wine tasting paddles and were disappointed on the wine quality. I believe the good reviews for this site must be based on the beer, gin, or whisky tasting plates so would probably try those if I was to ever return.

Stayed here for 3 nights at a conference. Beautiful setting very comfortable cabins and excellent food. Tried 4 beers in the tasting - wheat, lager, pale ale and porter. Porter was my favourite (being a stout drinker!) Looking forward to going back again without the Conference trappings............

Beautiful brewery quite an isolated location. The beers are unique quite sweet and a distinct honey taste. The day tripper was my pick and the milk stout second behind.
Brilliant view and play area for the little ones

Beer, wine, and spirit tastings. Generous pricing so you can be sure of purchasing something you love that you cannot find anywhere else. Even accomodation on site if you would like to base a holiday from here.
