Very friendly staff. It gets busy during the summer so I would recommend either making a reservation or coming early in the morning.

Lots of fun on the single kayak for a first timer!! Thanks for your help getting in and out.
I liked it, to go ride a bicycle, walk, take your dog tho dog park, etc you can rent out a paddle, kayak I think even a boat, I think you can not get in the water tho.
They were very efficient and the equipment was good, my husband and I had a great time kayaking around White Rock Lake.
Awesome place to Kayak and relax while on the water
I had a great time. The service was speedy since there was only one couple in front of us. I do recommend this place and it isn t that pricey.
So fun and great day for kayaking! This was our first time so my sister and I decided to try out the tandem kayak rather than the paddle board. I liked the kayak a lot better than the canoe as it looked more difficult to paddle with the shorter paddles.
Staff was super helpful and friendly!
I would definitely recommend coming here!
Paddling is so much fun especially in groups.
It s a great experience
My friends and I had the best time. It's best in the afternoon for the sunset
We had an excellent time. Perfect adventure for a hot summer day.
Showed up on a Saturday, Google says they're open, drove right to the address, and no one was there. Called and the phone goes straight to voicemail. Thanks!
Very friendly staff. Going during the week makes all the difference.
Awesome place to relax and beautiful scenery. Loved it !
Very professional and fun guys! Loved my time kayaking.
Great prices and great people. Take a right, go under the big bridge and check out White Rock Creek. It s a slow creek with a light current. The people at white rock are doing some great things. Would recommend bringing a water bottle and enjoy your day. So many yaks and SUPs. Check it out on a sunny day.
Really cool place. Sharing the double kayak is really nice. I just wish they would get some new paddleboards. The stand up paddleboards are pretty old and cheap feeling.
Always a blast. Wind has been a little rough and they were cautious about sending anyone out until it was safe. Definitely a returning customer.
I have been here twice and have had a good experience both times. The line moved kind of slow the first time, but it was 10:30 on a Sunday so it was kind of understandable. I brought my dog the second time, and they were very patient with us. We will definitely be back!
First time going but it was absolutely amazing and plan to come back often. Incredible photo ops and super relaxing.
Absolutely loved this, a great way to get away and experience some of the beauty of the Dallas area and not spend a fortune in the process! Plus an added benefit - a great work out!
This place has the worst customer service. They are trying to do contactless payment so they make you do it on your phone and their website isn t mobile friendly so it s impossible to book. After 4 separate tries right at the counter and the girl saying, Sorry that sucks, we went and bought our own double kayak. I highly recommend you do the same
I decided to "I just wanna go kayaking today, like right now!" Found this place on Google, super close to our place. Got there around 2:30, it was online reservation only(which is great). Did my online reservation, helped my wife with hers. Ran into a little snag: we really really wanted to be out for two hours, I already paid for two hours for myself but they were sold out on her end. So we we accepted only being out for an hour. When we went to check in we let them know about the problem and asked if they could refund the extra hour I paid for. He checked our reservation, and us if it was okay if he could try to get an extra hour for my wife, of course we said yes. Unfortunately, they were in fact sold out for that intended hour, but he did issue my refund for the extra hour I purchased. Hands down the absolute best public experience we've had this year. Friendly staff, follow covid rules and safe practices.
Definitely worth the 30 minute drive from Plano to get here. Such an awesome outdoor activity that you would not expect to be able to find in the DFW area. We booked for 2 hours and we're exhausted by the end. Definitely recommend!

Canoe & kayak rental service in Dallas, Texas
There s no canoes
This is one of my favorite things in Dallas. The rental prices are extremely reasonable and they have very good hours to enjoy all hours of daylight. I love that you can go into the lake in the openness one direction, or head to the right and there is a nature trail with tons of wildlife and bridges. The water gets a fair bit dirtier in that direction, but sometimes it's nice to lay back, close your eyes, and just drift into the scenery around you. Heading into the more open parts of the lake instead, the water is very clean and great to swim in, or to see how far you can make it.
I highly recommend this place if you want to kayak around the city without breaking the bank!
Wonderful padling, great for couples. For only $23 for one hour.
Best kayak rentals in Dallas for the pricing and the staff is cool as a fan! This place rocks!!
Headed over there for a fun father's day morning. Very patient and friendly staff to help new comers get in and out of the lake.
This place has always got great service and a very exciting and entertaining way to explore White Rock Lake water wise.
Just had the WORST experience here. They screwed up our reservation (for the 2nd time), didn t have enough boats for us, made us wait until we finally agreed to boats we didn t want to take out, then acted like jerks when we asked for a discount at check out. I used to love this place but I will not be returning. Ugh...jerks.
Good times. They are nice and efficient in processing in and out. All equipment was good. Lake was nice. Will use again.
I rented a kayak for an hour and a half on a Wednesday morning. There were not many people out which is what I was aiming for. Very relaxing. I enjoyed myself. I was helped really quickly and on the water in no time. I highly recommend.
Always friendly and helpful customer service. And they make it super easy to just show up with no reservation and jump on a paddleboard or kayak and hit the lake.
Fun experience. Watch for snakes and make sure your life jacket is fit correctly. Recommend going with a group.
The kayaks were great, the scenery was great as well. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't. My partner and I waited for 20 minutes and no one ever came to get as they indicated they would once a kayak was ready. My partner had to go up to the front a second time and was told that we didn't have to wait after all because they had some kayaks readily available. This is after having seen 2 couples walk up after us and get taken care of within a few minutes. I wonder if it's because we are people of color. Needless to say, we will never be back there again. No sense in paying for services and being completely disregarded.
Was easy and quick to rent a kayak for an hour or so, and was given a military discount as well. Can't ask for much more!
If you're trying to rent a kayak or paddleboard in Dallas, this is the place to do it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the hourly rates are reasonable, and the equipment is well-suited for the (relatively) calm waters of White Rock.
A word to the wise: go early, before the heat of the day makes sitting on the open water miserable. This is a fairly popular place, so it is also a good idea to make a reservation ahead of time (this is especially true with COVID-19; it isn't obvious on their website, but a reservation is required nowadays).
In short, a highly recommended morning outing.
Went kayaking wth a friend, wasn t bad at all. Had fun too.
Great place to rent a kayak and enjoy an hour or two
Horrible service. not accurate with what they have available. Never comin here again. They told me they would have a kayak available at 11:30, then Changed their mind and told me noon. Then again changed it to 1:30pm.
Super friendly people with a chill vibe and good kayaks. The paddles aren't great but I'll take what I can get. Also we got stormed out an hour into a 90 minute reservation and they only charged us for the hour.
Absolutely amazing. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even though it had just poured rain 30 minutes before, they still let us out on the lake. It was definitely a fun experience. Even just an hour out on the lake was a long time. It's a must do thing if you're in Dallas.
We had an AWESOME time! They were super friendly ...not the best tutorial givers (lol), but besides that we loved it!!! Great family outing!
Beautiful place ... I loved it ..! I recommend it..!
Hey when do y all open? Please advise I m dying to kayak lol
Completely unprofessional, left 10 minutes early after having a reservation at 7:30. Very disappointed in this service.
They are not open, nobody to talk with, no idea what is happening.
Had a lot of fun here today. They're down on the lakeshore, so the friendly staff will help you right into the water, which was my main worry as a first-time paddler. They also sell drinks and snacks.
Horrible online booking/inventory system or someone is pocketing money for on-site reservations. Tried to book 2 tandem kayaks and 1 SUP, but the system only allows for one rental transaction at a time. Good thing we called before confirming the non-refundable reservation because we were told the time we secured online was not accurate and they really didn t have tandems available during the timeframe listed online today from 4:30-6:00pm.
They charge by the hour. That would not have been too bad IF they did not move up the road... to get to White Rock Creek now, you have to paddle no less that 15 minutes each way, and fight currents...
The single kayak I rented had a staple on the back. The items I placed there were soaked within minutes. This was surprising to me because my personal kayak always kept things dry even though it was exposed. It was a great thing my cell phone case was waterproof!!!
Furthermore, the seating section accumulated lots of water! Yes, I got soaked to my waist.
Lesson learned, do not put kayak into storage, keep it closer so I do not have to rent.
$35 bucks with drybag, tips and tax. Good for an hour of casual kayaking.
Called to see the price, said we were on our way at first, got here at 2:40 left around 2:15, didn't ever bother to tell us they were booked till 6pm
Haven't used their service, but it provides a great view for drone footage!
I took my two grand daughters (ages 13 + 15) last year and we had a great time paddling down the creek. Friday I plan to go with my grown granddaughter (27) and I'm hoping we can venture out into the lake. It's a fun thing to be doing on a hot Texas day.
We just moved to the Dallas area and this was our first outing...I must admit, we we're pleasant surprised that the park was beautiful and we'll definitely be going back.. real soon!!!
Issues reserving "same day" online in the high season. If you have a day to spare, do it! Great experience. The kids LOVED being out on the lake.
Very reasonable prices. They let me take my small dog (14 lbs) on the kayak as well. I only wish that they could leave the rentals covered somehow on super hot day. When we first got into the kayaks we rented they were super hot so it was either burn our legs like crazy or splash some water in them but get our shorts all wet.
Great prices and staff is EXTREMELY POLITE! By far one of the best experiences in Dallas! Definitely a must!
Wonderful place for your kids and friends. Pets are welcome
Cant say enough good things about this group. The only thing I dont like is you cant leave their line it site. Paddling in a circle for more than 10 mins gets old. None the less totally worth the trip out and time spent
We had a great time but the price to rent a paddleboat it s kind of overpriced but we had an awesome time
Awesome experience. A must try if you're near the lake. Watch weather if it's your first time. Avoid windy days because the choppy water can be difficult for someone who doesn't have experience. It is otherwise a fabulous lake and the White Rock Paddle Co + team was great!
Good service. Online reservations only no walk up services. Reserve early! I recommend adding a waterproof bag to store your stuff like keys and wallets snacks etc it floats. Bring a water or buy thiers. Would rent again.
Very fun time at the lake using their kayaks. They have a funny manager who was very friendly. One of my family members was having back trouble and instead of charging for the double kayak they allowed us to convert to a single. Had a great time and will be back. If you re looking for something new and interesting check this place out!
Me and my friends did canoeing about a month back here. It's great for a weekend fun activity as there isn't much to do in dallas. Reasonable priced as well.
White Rock Lake Paddle Co The Best Crew. I've Been Doing SUB Board Since 2010 At White Rock Lake. Best Place For Water Sports Training. Started Going To White Rock In 1982. Lv This Place.
Amaaaazing staff! They will teach you and address any concerns or fears you have about any rides.white rock lake has great view and nice kayaking route.
Unfriendly staff. Couldn't rent after driving to 30 minutes. They said they were closing. We reached at 6:32 and they close at 6:30, while the website says open until sundown.
