We had a small wedding reception here and the food was excellent the staff were so friendly so helpful they went out of the way above and beyond made our day amazing April 2019

Decided to go here with family from london for a sunday dinner as half way between us. Great food and lovely staff. Lamb exceptional and plenty of it.

Bit quiet when we visited but certainly worth it. Food was great so will go back

The White Hart in Flitton. I was very impressed by the social distancing of tables and other patrons visiting the public house. We met friends of ours from Derbyshire in the White Hart as we live in Essex. I couldn't remark on the starters, none of us had any. The main dishes of food were fresh and tasty. Portion sizes were good. Deserts were very nice. The staff were helpful and pleasant.

The best Sunday roast! Great service and friendly staff. I would highly recommend.

Went to two other places locally and even though they were empty said they were booked up. Just me, my wife and daughter. Called in at the White Hart, the car park was full, the pub was full and they still fit us in. Top job, top staff and top food. I had the mixed roast. Mega.

Disappointing experience - this used to be a great place to eat out in, with unbelievable steaks .. it seems to have changed owners since I last went, and unfortunately the food was nowhere near as nice - the olive oil with bread had a very bitter taste to it (we sent it back as it was inedible), the chips were cooked to a crisp in dirty oil so had a unpleasant taste to them, the steak was ok but nothing special. The manager then argued that we should still pay for the bread and olive oil as the bread had nothing wrong with it..! So unfortunately a really poor experience and we won t be going back there again...

The food, Sunday lunch on this occasion, was decent pub grub but wasn't the same standard we had experienced before the change of management.

Went here for a wedding. Nice staff, lovely decor the buffet food we had was really nice

Excellent meal in lovely surroundings with great service. Will definitely be back again soon.

My friend and I went to the white hart pub after visiting Wrest Park, I was very impressed with the pub it was beautifully decorated and the staff and the landlord were so welcoming and friendly, the food was out of this world the best pub grub I have ever had. I have a chicken open sandwich with sweet potato chips followed by lemon drissel cake. It was wonderful all of it, the whole experience. Would thoroughly recommend a visit

Lovely food with super friendly staff. The Chef came out towards the end of the night to speak personally with everyone. Make sure you book well in advance!

Food is poor quality and expensive for what you got. Waitress rather unwelcoming and made you feel you were a chore she didn't need. Nice building though.

Lovely setting. Pleasant staff. Great food, and not extoriaonate. The set linch menu option was perfect, wish I had had room for desert but sadly the steak main filled me up!

Lovely meal, good service, very enjoyable, will return soon.

I have visited here a few times, the food and service is always great. There always seems to be new additions to he menu. Ample parking.

A great rural location for a typical country pub. Big car park openonto outdoor tables and chairs. There is a good size marquee which suggests carering for events. The main entrance was by several steps and not easy for disabled, wheelchair access is likely through the marquee and patio doors but we didn't prove this.
The menu was very good with options for vegetarians and gluten free diets. Our group of seven had both requirements and easily found dishes to order. Our server also was able to convey some mix and match selections to the chef with no problems giving perfect personal favourites of veg etc.
Great all-round service and reasonable prices, a perfect evening out.

I visited here for my birthday and really liked it. Reasonably priced and good portions. Friendly staff too and lovely ambience.

Food was very good, eating in marquee so tables can be well spread out at the moment, they handled the social distancing rules really well.

The first time today we have been to eat out since lockdown - really lovely food, we had the lamb roast, and staff, and social distancing measures - please go for a meal here - really impressed!

I was there for 50th birthday party in a marquee at the back of the public house. It was a very good setup and a very enjoyable evening.

Average pub/food, but at London prices. Walked past at 7:00 pm on Saturday 16th Nov. Top bar empty and I mean not a soul. Very few in the bottom bar.

Attentive staff. Excellent quality and presentation for their food. Reasonable prices.

Beautiful old village pub. We sat out in the large garden and had a fantastic meal. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into the quality of the food served, stunning. Will definitely return!

I booked the White Hart Function Room Flitton Greenfield for my 40th Birthday celebrations..
I had a very specific vision in mind regards the type of event that I required, from the food to the music, decoration and so much more
From my first point of contact with the owner Nathan, through to the execution of the event, everything was perfect and nothing was too much trouble, I mostly contacted Nathan via email with any queries that I had or changes that I needed to make, each email was answered within 30 minutes or less which I found to make organisation of the event so much easier, especially as I was making changes up until 1 day before my event.
On the day of the event, Nathan met me at the venue in the morning as pre-arranged, the Marquee looked great and was ready from my suppliers to set items up and decorate
On the evening of my event, I arrived a little earlier and was given a very warm welcome by Nathan, his partner and his staff, They were all highly professional and very friendly, I instantly relaxed and knew that my 40th birthday was going to be a wonderful evening and it really was. I would go as far to say that it really was one of the best evenings of my life.
I chose the winter warmer buffet and it was simply divine, the food was replenished throughout the evening and again nothing was too much trouble
Everyone of my guests complimented the venue and food, they were so impressed
I honestly could not have asked for anymore, Nathan and his staff exceeded all my expectations and produced an amazing 40th birthday, I would certainly book an event at the White Hart again.

We come here often and it never fails to please. The warm welcome and good service are only second to the excellent food. The menu is small enough to assure fresh food but not be limited for choice - make sure you leave room for the puddings. Many are discovering this gem, so best to book.

Stunning food. We had the set menu lunch, which I often find can be sub par to the standard menu. Not the case here. Excellent starters and perfectly cooked steak.

I held my son s 21st Birthday Party for 100 friends and family here at end of January 2020. The hot food served was delicious and the service throughout the evening was top notch. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Thank you very much to Nathan and his staff for helping to make our evening a wonderful success. Highly recommended.

Great food, good service. Staff are friendly and although the menu may be classed as limited by some people, the choices are varied and very well prepared.

Nice pub for a drink. Not so sure about a meal! We paid carvery prices for an OK roast meal. It did not include all the trimmings. The service was responsive but not overly friendly. There was one vegetarian option on the menu. An the 'nut cutlets' seemed a lot like veggie burgers from Tescos!

Very good food, drinks and service. A little quiet tonight, but that suited us. Looking forward to our next visit.
