Poor Company. Horrible mattresses

I bought the Grand Legacy king size mattress from White Dove from Levins furniture. Had I known that their warranty came from White Dove and not backed by Levins, I would have never bought this mattress and spent over $2,000 on it. I have a spinal cord and rib injury so finding a comfortable mattress to sleep on is extremely challenging. When I first got the White Dove mattress, I really liked it and was able to sleep decently. Then after year 5, it started sagging and becoming very uncomfortable to sleep on. Finally, I had to call about the warranty on the mattress. This is when my personal hell begun. Levins informs me that I need to go thru white dove so I call them. They send me out this packet to measure the divot myself and to take apart my mattress, box spring and frames for pictures (now let’s all remember my spinal cord injury). So after getting some help, I finally get all the pictures they require and sent my information into them. And wait…and wait…after 2 weeks, I email asking for an update. They respond with guess what…we need more pictures. So now I have to go thru all of this again. I send them the additional pics and once again have to wait. Finally I get an email saying they are going to replace the mattress but I have 2 choices. 1 - drive 4 hours roundtrip to Cleveland to pick up the mattress or 2 - pay $100 for it to be delivered. I chose to pay the $100 as my spinal cord injury doesn’t allow me to drive 4 hours. So I get an email regarding delivery and I am finally happy until the mattress shows up. It is delivered by fedex in a box. Umm ok?? This can’t be right. The mattress I purchased had inner springs and memory foam combined because I need the additional support of the coils for my back. Well this new one certainly did not have any coils. It was a complete tempurpedic mattress. This mattress was nothing like the one I purchased previously but yet I still set it up and tried it out. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I wasn’t even able to sleep one night on it. It made my pain unbearable. I woke up several times thru the night unable to move due to the pain. I sent white dove an email telling them this was not a comparable mattress replacement that their warranty says they will replace and no Big surprise here…I got no response back from them. So now I am back to sleeping on the first mattress which increases my pain but not to the level of the second mattress cause I cannot afford another $2-3000 for a new mattress. I will not recommend this company to anyone! This company is despicable!

I am one that is experiencing the same warranty struggle as others. We have the XL3100 that is only 2.5 years old and it has started to sag. We called the local store (Mattress Warehouse) they came out and looked at it. Then sent a letter saying it wouldn't be covered under warranty at this time; that we needed to wait until it was worse. The warranty states that if there is a sag of 1/2 inch or more it would be covered. It is right at 1/2 inch. After the local company wouldn't stand behind the warranty I went to the manufacturer. Well same story; "we are probably going to side with Mattress Warehouse" they want us to wait until it's worse also. It is already horrible to sleep on! If a company is going to have a warranty then they need to stand behind it and not give the customer the run around. When I questioned the wording of the warranty "1/2 or more" I was rudely told that it's my "interpretation". I believe there is only 1 way to interpret that. Very disappointed especially for a $2200 bed!

White Dove warranty promises are false. After less...

White Dove warranty promises are false. After less than 1-year the bed I purchased from them has sagged so bad I won't sleep on it (the bed has not been moved and I'm not overweight, so no excuses). I emailed them explaining the situation, submitted all the required pictures and documentation with no luck. This has all been while I was pregnant and NEEDED a comfortable bed to sleep in - instead of sleeping on the couch or cheap twin bed in our guest room. I have been strung along for 5 months, waiting for a new bed (now they quit responding to my emails and phone calls), in misery. Don't buy a White Dove, King Koil, or Sleep Logic mattress (they're owned by the same company and don't stand behind their word).

We bought our first White Dove queen mattress about 12 to 13 years ago. It was reasonably priced, and the quality and comfort were excellent. I wanted a firm mattress and got one that held up well.

After a few years, we needed to replace a mattress in another bedroom and chose another White Dove. We've had it for 3 or 4 years now and it also has been superb. I have a pretty bad back, but these mattresses really fill the bill for me. They stay supportive and don't seem to degrade as quickly as orhers I've owned in the past.

A few years ago, we bought a third White Dove for a spare bedroom. Again- well made, great quality, and no complaints. Like all the other mattresses, it too came from Wayside Furniture in Akron.

Finally, after some reading on when one should replace a mattress, I learned that after eight years is a good time. Since our original White Dove queen mattress was going on 14 years old, and my back is giving me a bit more trouble as I age, we decided to shop around a bit and get a new one with a bit more firmness.

Not surprisingly, a White Dove was still the best choice, and again we purchased it from Wayside over Memorial Day weekend. For comparison's sake, I looked at Mattress Firm first, and tgeir products/prices didn't even come close to the White Dove models at Wayside. They had a great mattress sale going on, and according to Consumer Reports, Memorial Day weekend is an excellent time to find good prices on mattresses.

For one, I really like that White Dove mattresses are made nearby in Cleveland, Ohio. More than that, every one I've had has been a pleasure to sleep on and has held up beautifully. In fact, when the delivery guys came in to take out my original White Dove and saw it, they asked what was wrong with it. It still looked new to them, despite its 13 years of use!

As long as White Dove still builds their mattresses in the USA, I will never buy anything else.

The first evening after receiving our new White Dove Atlas 4100 mattress, we noticed that the mattress was not level (as seen in picture 3). Within one week's time, we were already seeing indentations in the mattress, with the indentations increasing as the weeks progressed. We then tried to get a full refund or at least a new mattress, with the furniture store where we purchased the mattress sending in a technician's report (including pictures). However Jan. 11th, 2021 we received word that the manufacturer feels nothing is wrong with our mattress. So we are now stuck with a $1800.00+ mattress that hurts our backs and hips. To say the least, we are very upset!!

I bought a White Dove Haven queen-size mattress from a local furniture retailer. Queen size mattresses are supposed to be 60x80 inches. Once the mattress was in my home it looked small so I measured and it was less than 58X78. So I called the furniture retailer, who put me in touch with the White Dove rep, Dennis. After exchanging voicemails Dennis called me and said 58X78 was within their tolerances, and much like a 2x4 is not really a 2x4, a White Dove Queen size mattress is smaller than 60x80 and there was nothing they would do to provide me a 60x80 mattress. Aside from that issue, he was disrespectful, refused to tell me who his supervisor is, and hung up on me. In my opinion, that is unprofessional and poor customer service.

We purchased our twin extra long mattresses about six weeks ago. They have extremely uncomfortable holes in the top. They feel nothing like the mattress we experienced in the local furniture store. The store contacted the sales representative but he was not helpful. Beware!
