I previously worked at Whitaker Legal first as an intern and later as a legal assistant. In my time there, I was beyond impressed with Ms. Whitaker as an attorney and as an advocate. She works tirelessly to help clients who were left feeling hopeless about their cases by other immigration attorneys. She's incredibly detail-oriented and thorough and took real care to make sure every case she took was as strong as possible.

DO NOT HIRE THIS LAWYER. Her recent reviews were written by her to make it look like she has great reviews. She is money hungry and does not care for her clients. She will cost you about $8,000-13,000 and extra to add your children. She does not put in adequate time to submit through a petition thoroughly. There were several mistakes in my petition. After she took my case, I never spoke to her and only to her paralegals who did all of the work for my case. I could never get ahold of her on the phone. I only saw her during my court date and that s it. You are better off finding someone better.

Ms. Whitaker is an EXCELLENT attorney. I worked at Whitaker Legal for two years and personally saw how much time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears she puts into EVERY single case. The care for her clients, the professionalism of her staff, the training she personally gives to each and every hired employee, and the gratitude she shows to each client and employee simply cannot be matched by another attorney. I've seen Ms. Whitaker take on several cases where the clients were told they had no hope by other attorneys, but Ms. Whitaker took their cases and won, ALL OF THEM. In my short time there, aside from pro bono work, assisting local high schools, teaching English at community colleges, and volunteering at local and national non-profit organizations, Ms. Whitaker took her entire staff to the U.S.- Mexican border to provide immigrants leaving detention centers with legal and general assistance at no charge whatsoever. I'd say Ms. Whitaker "talks the talk and walks the walk" when it comes to community service and care, but you would find it impossible to find a more humble attorney when it comes to the incredible work she's done. She is a person of strong faith, and it's seen through her dedication to her clients, community, family and friends. A more accurate statement would be that she simply "walks the walk without the need to talk."

Ms. Whitaker was God sent. I found Nicole through Avvo, my case was complicated, I wanted to apply for Naturalization but after consulting numerous Big/famous and super expensive lawyers who basically made it seem like my case was hopeless I almost decided to just postpone the application. However, everything changed when I found Nicole and made an appointment. At the appointment she immediately made me feel more relaxed about my case. She was very knowledgeable and gave straight to the point answers. I decided to proceed with hiring her (best decision of my life) and her and her team proceeded with putting in my application.
