Wheat Montana Bakery Review

This place is a treasure! Stopping here was the highlight of my drive through Montana. The fresh bread used to make the sandwiches really made them stand out. The staff was friendly and helpful and even ensured I took advantage of their military/veteran discount. They serve a dozen varieties of cinnamon rolls the size of your face! From my travels I like to consider myself a cinnamon roll connoisseur and their cream cheese topped one was TOP NOTCH. Perfect proportions of filling and topping on a light fluffy roll that doesn't leave you feeling bloated.

I have been using the 4.5" white split top bun in my restaurant for a couple years now. Quality is huge in our place. Our burgers needed a bun to hold up to the juiciest burgers. They do that and more. Always consistent and always fresh. My customers know the quality we put out and the bun is a perfect match.

Use to enjoy coming here, has went downhill between the shutting two hours early or the machines are down because they cleaned them early and don t want to do it again. Went in in the morning watched the lady start my coffee get mad at a coworker and take break and leave the coffee, but food ok when they are open or oven isn t down for the day.

They definitely need more help. I waited 45 minutes for a "to go" Ruben sandwich. Which tasted the same as any other Ruben sandwich

It's a wonderful concept. Very busy. The baked goods looked wonderful, but the portions were so humongous there's no way that I could have eaten a whole muffin, cinnamon roll, or even one of their cookies. I probably could have eaten 1/4 of one.

All we can say is"wow". Pastries, and deli sandwiches to die for. Your plate will over flow. Amazing eats. Almost lots of flours, and other yummy stuff. Dont miss this place. Thank you for awesome staff, service, and good eats.

What a delightful stop along the way! Clean and cute; staff was friendly and all observed Covid protocols; wore masks and there was plenty of hand sanitizer available. Enjoyed breakfast sandwiches to go as well as delicious - and HUGE - cinnamon rolls for a treat later. Look forward to getting back there!

This place is awesome and boy has it grown over the years. There s plenty of parking for your camper, plenty of truck parking. The food is so good! We stop and get liaves of bread and cinnamon rolls. Yum

I have been coming here for years. It can be be busy in the summer but the winter is always quieter. The shelves always look great and are stocked with their product and with other Montana made products. The staff always welcome me when I walk in and I haven't had a bad meal from here.

The past few times we have been through, we haven't been impressed. This morning was no exception to the new norm it seems. No reason to wait more than 20 minutes for a latte and baked goods and still leave without the latte. Wish I could cancel the charges on my bill.
