If I could give them 0 stars, I would! They're the worst. Had a credit card which I maxed - my fault on that. RBC decided to outsource that function to Intellisys and is now trying to make me pay double on a settlement offer of US$1,200. Card was already paid 3 months ago! Despise this bank so much
They wasted 8 weeks of my time before refusing my mortgage application for no apparent reason. When I first came to Cayman I had considerable trouble cashing a settlement cheque drawn on one of their own accounts! The number of 1* reviews here does not surprise me.
Close your accounts!!!! This bank is sheer torture to visit. No sense of urgency or ability to deal with customers in a time efficient manner. My only hope is they finally close down and I don t need to come here again. Staff walk back and fourth - how about serving customers (perhaps you may have some more just a thought). I will actively advise no one to join this bank!

Slow and incompetent at all times. Sadly it s a problem for all banks on island so it s unlikely to change. Zero competition and no option to not use a bank. Expect to spend an hour for simple transactions and more for complex things like a draft.
Staff members are quite rude and don t provide any assistance without multiple follow ups. The bank has made so many mistakes in calculating interest, deducting loan payments etc. I would not recommend RBC to anyone on island.
This bank must be in competition to be the worst bank in the Cayman islands (possibly the entire Caribbean). They refuse to cash their own checks if you do not have an account with them. So if I pay someone with a check I need to make sure they have an account with this bank or they will not get their money. The service takes the cake, the worst I have ever seen with the exception of two or three employees at their Red Bay branch. They charge to deposit money into your account and they charge to take money out of your account. Also make sure that you hold on to all of your payment receipts or you will end up paying twice.
They have an answering machine, therefore, a customer/client can't even speak to a receptionist in regards to a general inquiry or make an appointment to see a Loan officer.
