My hamburger ways terrible. It was dry, had a couple of pickles, lettuce and one small slice of tomato. I was very disappointed. And the young man who waited on my wife and I, acted as though he hated being there. The restraunt was very busy. Even so you should be able to make a hamburger correctly.
Waited 25 minutes for my take out. I had to ask Chris, who was clocking into work, to check on my order. When my order finally came, it was placed on the counter without a word. Restaurant #313
I read the reviews and had refused to believe then until now. Floor cleaning and speed, not important to them. Homeless people all over, while they didn't care. Waited 15 min for an expensive, mediocre burger. Ended up having to go back to the counter even though the cashier seemed concerned, the kitchen staff just said they were working on our and made me wait another 7min. Julia Rosas, General Manager must be on vacation. In town for a week and won't visit them again! Hope you don't either!
I will take in the fact that they were very crowded when I went, but I just didn't get the service I expected. I ordered a shake and didn't get it for 10 minutes so I asked if it would ever come out and then I waited an additional 10 minutes to get it. Even when I got the shake, it was the wrong flavor.

So me and my family took a little vacation , we come here to have our first meal of the day and we ordered 2 burgers , first thing we noticed was that our bread was COLD , same goes for the meat . I went up to the manager I supposed, a guy in white shirt and glasses , and all he did was put it in the microwave! . So unprofessional, I'm myself a distric manager , region 2 and for this to happen at one of the stores . Wow .

Love to go to this Whataburger. You can go to the second floor and look over the water. They have an attentant that makes sure you have all the contaments and napkins. They will also refill your drinks for you. They bring your order to your table. They have an elevator if you do not want to do the stairs. You can watch the seagulls also.
Had to stop by to see this location while in corpus. Didn't eat here because we went into the lady's room before ordering and when we came out there was a line of kids out the door. So we drive a few miles down the road to another whataburger.

We went to this Whataburger after we sent the night on the USS Lexington. I'm addition to being Whataburger number one, it's a to level facility with excellent service, outdoor seating on the balcony and a statue of the founder on a bench next to the main entrance, which makes for a great photo opportunity. As expected, the food was also fantastic.

Ocean front view is just worth the stop. The only 2 story Whataburger I know. The food is fresh and prompt service also.
We were just visiting Corpus and only went once but this place was filthy nasty. We are HUGE whataburger fans, and from the outside this looked like a spectacular flagship location, but when we got inside it was just a mess. If we weren't absolutely stared we probably would've just left. It was sort of a downer to a nice little getaway. Maybe this was a one time occurrence. If you do go, I'd recommend the drive through.

Went for breakfast" rarity" hash browns burned, BOB forgot sausage, sent back ,left out cheese second time. Chorizo and egg was egg and chorizo.
This is the premiere Whataburger, located on the bayfront. Sit on the second floor outside deck and watch the bay while you enjoy your Whataburger.
I love sitting upstairs in this Whataburger to look at the bay. The staff is also very friendly.

Thought they had french toast sticks and was looking forward to ordering that, but they didn't so I had to order the pancake platter, and the pancakes didn't have any chocolate chips or powdered sugar!
My mom ordered a biscuit and asked for NO CHEESE, but then of course it came with cheese on it
ON TOP OF THAT, the wait also took a while, and we didn't like that because we wanted to see our little friend's soccer game, but we ended up missing half of it.
Don't think we should come back here next time.

Friendly service, and nice view upstairs of the bay. Good food as usual, but if you sit outside upstairs, you can't hear the intercom and won't hear your order being called. Other than that, good experience.
Went about 11pm on a Saturday night, fries cold, bun cold, not up to Whataburger standards, especially for the flagship location.
Food have an aftertaste was it good until forever through the drive-thru they got the order wrong definitely would not go back and definitely would not recommend

If you love Whataburger you have to visit Whataburger By the Bay at least once. It's unique and awesome. Same great food and friendly staff, but it's huge, has a second story, a balcony, a view, and even a 'Whata-vator" if you don't want to take the stairs. Wife and I really enjoyed our visit. A must-see if you're a fan of this Texas Treasure!

Being from San Antonio the family and I stop at this Whataburger whenever we visit Corpus. The servers have always been amazing and the food matches Whataburger quality. The only issue I have is the second floor can be uncomfortably warm at the hottest times of the day.

With it being 2 floors its difficult for staff to find you. Food is good but the food distribution needs help. Also, don't go there on Thur thru Saturday in the evening... Unless you're in college and are out partying
