Some of the food is good, but most isn't worth going out of your way for. I only come here on Tuesday nights for Geeks Who Drink trivia, and service is always abysmal. The tables on the back of the patio are smashed together so the restaurant can make more money, and you -- the customer -- ends up back-to-back with a patron at a different table. God help you if you have to go to the bathroom.

The food & drink specials were very good. Not sure why they're out of business.

Me & my friends are regulars here. & we went in recently & waited a long time. We then had a manger come to our table & tell us he was having trouble finding us a waitor, he then told us we could try the bar if we wanted. Me & my friends were so shocked we just left!

Excellent pub food. The burger was cheesy and juicey. The onion rings, fries, and fried pickles were among the best I've ever had. I don't recommend the sauerkraut balls, which is their specialty (they were boring). The fish and chips only came with one piece of fish, but it was a good quality fish, and on the lunch menu it's only $4.99 - can't beat that! The have a wide beer selection with some nice microbrews. Now all they need is some live music! I recommend this place for a casual night out, particularly if you live north and don't want to head to downtown Austin. They have great outdoor seating too.

Came because we had a $25 gift certificate. Waited at the door for five minutse, ignored by the two waiters who walked by and the one who checked the seating chart for food delivery. Finally get sat, and the twn more minutes go by with not so much as a hi. We left, and no one even noticed.

Never again. Food was mediocre. The bartender not very pleasant and then ran my card for someone else's meal and didn't even look at me to let me know it happened or let me know if she had refunded/cancel the charge. She also didn't even say thanks come again, how was the meal....Terrible customer service skills.

Up in Round Rock, I love to go to Westside Alehouse. I recommend the burgers, which were juicy and large. With a wide beer selections, there is a beer for everyone's preference. We have been here 3 times, and the waitstaff were always friendly and helpful. 2 pool tables and a table shuffleboard are located inside. I find it as a great place to watch any major sport since there are TVs covering the restaurant. Outdoor seating is available as well.

Horrible!!! This is our second visit and it will be our last. Service was beyond slow. All we wanted was a few appetizers and a couple of beers. Took close to 40min for nachos and fried pickles. The place was not even that busy. When we finally saw our server again and got our check, he just slapped it on the table and walked off. No apology, no thank you, nothing. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!

Some friends and I went for UFC 187. We were all really impressed by the atmosphere and food. I had the jalapeno and cheese stuffed burger and was only disappointed that I didn't have enough room to try something else. The size and quality of the fried pickle appetizer was awesome sauce... oh that's right, whatever that sauce is that they give you with the fried pickles is superb. We asked for some with our burgers so that we could dip our fries and I don't know if I can ever do ketchup again. We're definitely going back for the next UFC.

I've been here several times & just haven't managed to complete a review. Shame on me. So St last here it is. My roommate & I stumbled across this place randomly in a search for somewhere we hadn't been to, had beer, & TVs. Westside has all 3! The restaurant is very open and has good placement of Tvs for all your sports watching needs. There is also a patio that looks nice but I've never been out onto it.

My favorite thing here is the $3 margaritas. They're $3 all day every day. And it's not the small glasses you might expect but a normal sized pint type glass.
As for food, I've had the burgers, grilled cheese, fried pickles, grilled chicken wrap & I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Please note this was not all consumed in one visit but over several trips. I think for a bar type place the food is good. I've had better but I've had worse. If you're looking for fancy then don't visit this place. It is a clean, open, TV watching sports restaurant. The service can be a bit lacking but nothing that has made me not want to return.

Parking is free & there's a decent sized lot in front but if it's busy parking could become messy.

Did you somehow get lost in suburbia or need a break after your epic IKEA trek? Then this is a decent beer stop before you get back to Austin.

The waitress didn't exactly know the kinds of beer on tap, but I guess she wasn't a beer person who happens to work in a beer bar.

Their local beer selection was minimal and the food mediocre. The one standout was the lemon pepper wings--just go with that.
