A good place to vacate the holiday, from the small road next to the hotel to the beach, breakfast is delicious, there are indoor and outdoor pools and gym.
The room is large, there is a balcony to see the sea view, and the room is very intimately equipped with a universal socket.

It is always a pleasure to stay here. Unfortunately the hotel's exterior is becoming a little run down, and takes away from the beauty and luxuriousness of the resort. Please restore the Grande Coloane Resort to her former glory!

Great sense of relaxation! Non-magnificent hotel, the staff is friendly, the overall atmosphere is comfortable, the connection method is easy to understand, the room is open, and the balcony is beautiful.

A great story starts with a memorable location and "A night at the Grand Coloane" would make a fitting title of that book.

Take a gander at the beach by the bay, or a Portuguese restaurant just close by. Hike up the trails on the park or simply enjoy the views from the sunrise.

The hotel has a wide open area overlooking the sea, its shape is reminiscent to the hanging gardens of Babylon; each floor arching towards the top like a pyramid. Each of the rooms make up for the balcony the makes the Grand Coloane's minimalist yet distinctive shape.

A bus to the Cotai Strip or to the Macau Ferry Terminal comes at intervals of 30 minutes till half and hour before midnight. So you are never far away from entertainment nor compromising its isolation at the bay.

Awesome resort! Rooms are big compared any other place in Hong Kong n Macao! View from the room is good if u get the sea facing ones. A huge balcony for yourselves. Food is not great if you love spicy food. But service is great so u can let them know your preferences and they would definitely heed. Hardly any distance from the casinos.. plus u get the daily shuttle to and fro to visit places, so that's just superbly convenient!

Comfortable room and quality mattress. The staff is helpful without being too present. I enjoyed the location, a little aside from the centre but just a shuttle bus away. 10 minutes walk to delicious Fernando!

Luhuan Haitian Resort is one of the premier resort hotels in Greater China, located on the southeastern side of Coloane Island, overlooking the beautiful black sand beach. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal. It is a 10-minute drive from Macau International Airport and a 5-minute drive from Cotai Strip. The hotel is eight stories high and is built along the hillside. It has a trapezoidal appearance. The Macau Golf and Country Club on the ninth floor has an 18-hole championship golf course. It is rolling and lush. All 208 rooms are luxuriously appointed and each has a spacious private balcony overlooking the endless black sand beach or the South China Sea. Play 18 holes in the magnificent natural environment, enjoy a soothing treatment at the Nirvana Spa, or have fun at the pool and entertainment center.

The hotel room NEEDS major renovations! The walls, bathroom sink, bathtub, and shower are cracked and has mildew/mold. The shower and toilet fixtures coating are peeling and rusted. (See pictures) Also ALL the towels are old and fraying. Absolutely horrible!

We paid $250+USD for 1 night stay during a holiday and expected to be impressed. It s in a secluded area of Coloane which is what I wanted for some R&R after reading a raving review on a travel website as well as ratings on Google
But ended up thoroughly DISAPPOINTED by this hotel. :(

Spend your money elsewhere.

Worst night of my life!

Worst night of my life!
Ok so first when we arrived we were really disappointed, the building looks very ugly and not well maintained. Looks like an old military camp.
Inside the room was ok except the smell. We had a terrible night because there was an awful sound. It made more noise than when you have the AC turned off on really high. At 3AM we asked someone and he turned off something in a room next to ours (506). It was the ventilation for the whole floor. Everything went ok after that.
We asked the manager Nadia when we checked out but she was super rude, nothing was told to her so she barely acknowledged our complaint. Very frustrating.
The rest of the staff, especially at the pool, was super nice. Too bad the outdoor hot tub doesn't work.
The location is nice too

+ Enjoyed our stay here.
+ Nice view and staff makes the effort to help you enjoy the stay (had two friendly people put chairs and a table on our veranda after a call to guest services etc)
* shuttle service convenient enough, but NOT stopping by Taipa ferry terminal (which is where we arrived) or airport (but at the Macau ferry terminal right next to it), not in Macau town. Just make sure you got your travel arranged accordingly and it'll be fine.

Located next to the black sand beach, it is very suitable for the whole family. The rooms are spacious, simple and comfortable, and full of leisurely vacation style. Different from the five-star hotels in the city, the price is favorable. Although it is an old five-star, the room facilities are relatively old , But the rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and equipped with irons and clothes hangers. Basically, there should be all of them. There are also urban shuttle buses, so there is no need to worry about traffic.
The scenery is great, there is a children s playroom, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and the outdoor turf is great for children to enjoy. The hotel also offers a picnic basket for a fee.
In addition, the restaurant in the hotel (3F&1F) has delicious food. It is recommended that if you stay here, you must try the buffet-style barbecue for dinner (1F, especially the desserts are great.), and the Guanhaixuan on the third floor of the hotel has delicious food. There is an all-you-can-eat dinner on Wednesday night.

This place is highly recommended for family travelers. My children love the place, it is spacious, cozy, relaxing and nice view from the balcony of our room. The lobby is also huge and comfortable. It has free WIFI and unlimited bottle water.

The staff were also very accommodating and helpful. I love the free shuttle going around Macau. The food in Cafe Panorama was also great. We decided to come back here anytime soon since, the show of The house of dancing water was canceled due to technical difficulties.

Very warm welcome, huge room, friendly people. Service is excellent, room has been excellent, too. Free shuttle buses every 30 minutes to all Macau areas. Modern building that could profit from fresh paint outside. Indoor pool for rainy days too small for the number of guests... outside pool world is large and okay. Will be back here some day...

This is not a hotel for peak season, theres neither enough staff nor facilities. I am right now standing in line pathetically waiting for my turn to have breakfast and there are two staff in the entire restaurant. My non smoking room smell like an ash tray. I honestly have no idea how they stay in biz.

Nice hotel for families, sometimes inadequate service due to the dullness of the staff. Some maintenance should be done.
Special 6-star mention for the beds: you'll understand what sleeping between 4 pillows means!
Pleasant Curtis musical animation!

It is rare in Macau to get away from the hustle and bustle, and there is no resort hotel with casino.

~ Check-in is a room on the 3rd floor of the waterfront.
~large room
~ There is a big terrace where you can listen to the birds and the sound of the waves.
There are just no chairs.
~There are mosquitoes due to flowers and trees.
~It s so close to the black sand beach, 8-10 minutes walk

A big resort tucked away from the 'Las Vegas' style casinos of Macau. A bit out of the way if you want to spend time exploring old colonial Macau, but perfect if you need a retreat for a day or two. Lovely ocean frontage, a great pool area & very child- and family-friendly. The buffet breakfast & dinner are good quality, with a wide variety of foods (both hot & cold) available.
Our family room had a large terrace attached & was pleasantly spacious .. although it did feel a bit tired.
