Very nice place. Everything works, nice exercise room. Staff very nice and competent. Beautiful grounds.
We were there for a Career Fair. Very nice hotel. Plenty of parking.
Great service, went for a conference and we were treated very well. Convenient location but still quiet.
Nice accomodations. Very business oriented. Boring otherwise.
Fantastic hotel and staff. Very nice area. Exceptional rooms. Easy to get in and out of quickly. Close to many nearby attractions.
Huge guest rooms and hotel. Very friendly staff and gorgeous hotel.
Any hotel that houses the Bilderbergers is a huge fail, in my opinion. They also threw journalist and truth-seeker Alex Jones out because he wants the world to know what the Bilderberger creeps are doing. Shameful!
Expensive. Rooms are well appointed, and the property is distinguished. Hotel restaurant menu has improved over the years, but realize when you stay here you are subsidizing the significant conference and government-rate customers who also stay here. Close to the Hazy Center, an impressive annex of the Smithsonian Air & Space museum, as well as some historical battlefields. If you have a day when you're not engaged in Secret Squirrel meetings or you're on an extended layover in the area, it's a nice base from which to explore what Northern Virginia has to offer.
The catered food was decent for a conference lunch. The rooms are kind of confusing layout wise, but it may have been the conference organizers lack of communication about the room map and not the hotel. The spaces are nice and clean in general.
Lobby area seemed very nice, but the rooms left something to be desired considering the price.
This is a nice hotel with good conference facilities and a pub / bistro in the lobby. My needs with them are: they do not honor your status as far as getting an upgrade and the hotel is getting kind of "long in the tooth" as far as maintenance and upkeep.
Good place. Nice rooms. Nice grounds in the woods. Nothing in walking distance - restaurants, entertainment. You'll need a car.
The most unique and enchanting Marriott property that Ive had the pleasure of being a part of. Beautiful grounds with some hidden trails. Stunning building that looks more like a palace. Enjoy the breakfast buffet at the Palm Court restaurant, or a delicious lunch at Wellingtons Pub. Grab a refreshment and go chill on the Sunset Terrace. I love this hotel, oh and btw I worked here for 5 years. Absolutely miss it.
The stay and hotel were very nice but unfortunately a fire alarm went off the night we were staying which made the stay a little less enjoyable.
Went for a business meeting, hotel was capable of handling that. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
The location and food were excellent! I would recommend the Westfield Marriott.
Great place to stay. Close to Dulles airport and like 35 minutes from DC
This hotel is a favorite of newlyweds! They have wedding packages starting at twelve thousand.
The hotel was beautiful. The building gorgeous and the grounds elegant with huge evergreen magnolias around the entire perimeter. Really very pretty. The staff were excellent. The amenities were great, the outdoor pool was warm and large and surrounded by trees. There is no shade is the only issue and the floors are so slippery when wet. The down side is that it is in the middle of nowhere and they have one restaurant option that is really awful. Every meal I had there was not cooked properly, bland and just very bad. Really wish there was a decent restaurant or food options as it is close to nothing. Other than the food, the rooms were spacious and well appointed, nice TV and I received good service in the room. Please get a decent chef.
A family favorite. Westfields never disappoints. From weddings, friendly gatherings, lavish entrance ways, experienced staff. We truly enjoy ourselves each year we visit from Florida.
Spacious room and tranquil/garden-like surroundings at reasonable price. Marble bathroom and good shower water pressure. Will stay again if price is right.
Beautiful place. Great for meetings or business events.
Great customer service, great location, great price for the location. I would recommend this hotel. You do need a car though because this hotel is not located near restaurants or stores. Overall great stay.
Wow the grounds are beautiful! Plus the amenities are lavish.
A nice place for a professional event. Tucked away, very beautiful area.
Great place to stay and staff is awesome to work with
Do not stay in this satanic hotel. We were secretly kicked out to allow a top secret Bilderberg meeting in which Obama and Hilary attended. These people are liars whom went so far as to sound their fire alarm as a cover to get all guess to evacuate while they usher in these elite treasonous corruptionist.
Amazing place for everything! Very reasonably priced and so accommodating. For work or play, you will enjoy your stay.
Stayed there while chaperoning a trip to D.C. There were a few more bugs in the rooms than I would have liked and the room was not thoroughly cleaned between nights of my stay. The wifi had a significant cost.
Our breakfast was decent and the hotel staff was very accommodating. Overall, I would stay there if in a bind, but it would not be my first choice.
The Westfield's Marriott is a wonderful venue for any special event. The hotel has a classic look and is gorgeous inside. I attended my friends wedding there and everything was wonderful from the food to the drinks to the service. The gentleman at the valet was also very welcoming and friendly.
I stayed at the hotel last night with my wife just to get out of the house for the night, and we had an outstanding visit. All the staff were very courteous and willing to chat if we wanted to engage with them. The bar was very well stocked with top shelf liquors, and we ended up shooting pool until closing time. The breakfast was great, and when we took a look at the Sunday brunch, we decided that we'll have that on our next visit. The room was well appointed with nice decor throughout the rest of the hotel as well, and fairly quiet. My wife and I both agreed that the value of the room for the price was one of the best we have ever had.
Everything was great. Only problem I had was the the lady at the from desk didn't tell my that the breakfast wasn't complimentary so I randomly got a check for a meal I didn't even eat.
Good check in service, overall service, no difficulties with room
Great room with excellent staff. Only downside was the quality of the hotel restaurant/bar. Restaurant was horribly understaffed and it took 30-45 min to place an order on a few different occasions. Food was fine and over priced.
Room had an awesome closet. Two entrances to it and you could use it as a passway. Super cool
Was there for a company after Christmas party. Was very disappointed in the appetizers. Dinner was buffet, which was fine. Food wasn't that great. The dance floor shook when people were dancing. Would i attend the party next year if they have it here. Probably not. Sorry!!
Don't pay for the Internet. I payed for it and only got 6mbps up and down.
We had a great stay at the Westfields, including the company party we had there!
Great rooms, comfortable beds, nice location. Was here for a wedding and made for an excellent venue
Friendly staff. Clean rooms and pool. Good gym. Nice hotel in general.
Nice hotel. I enjoyed my stay. It presents everything you would expect with a five star review.
We were there for a social event, and the venue was nice. But the food was just terrible.... not enough choices for vegetarians.
Been going to Westfields for years. It's a beautiful hotel/meeting facility that's maintained to the highest standards. Nothing touches it within a 20 mile radius. You would need to go downtown DC to experience the luxury and attention to detail.
Had a great anniversary stay at the Westfields marriott with my husband in the presidential suite! It was great to remoniss of our wedding day there :)
Haven't been here in a while. Pretty nice renovation of the bar, but I miss the giant pool tables. Hidden gem is the western terrace, awesome open area to hang out around a fire.
This place has real character. Hidden is a very quiet area of Chantilly, near dulles. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms are well appointed.
It's honestly not that bad it could be worse but it is decent
Very nice hotel and nice rooms. Staff is friendly and check-in was easy.
Great property, very friendly staff and good service.
Very nice!!! The breakfast can use some updating. But the rooms was excellent
Great pool and work out room. Friendly helpful staff
Fantastic business hotel. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. From check in to checkout ...everything was perfect. Hotel is situated in a lovely treed suburb with quiet grounds. We ll definitely be returning!
The feather bed made it very hard to sleep. The feathers were prickly and poking me through the sheets.
Great business meeting venue. Great corporate celebration venue. Multiple conference rooms for meetings in this secluded conference center nestled in an oak Forest. Corporations can rent out the entire place for their Christmas party.
This last weekend was an awful display for a hotel that looks as nice as it does on the outside. We had booked a room with a wedding block and the hotel did not keep the group together. We also had booked the room with a romance amenity package that never showed up and initially came with 2 double beds instead of the king that was part of our reservation. When we finally got into a room with a king bed we were graced with a toilet that would not work. We had maintenance in the room 3 times for the same issue and they "fixed" it each time. All in all I was very disappointed in the stay with this hotel.
Very fancy and clean hotel. The hotel and grounds are fantastic. Food at the restaurant in the lobby is okay, but the service is good.
Since it was busy cause of a convention. It was understandable why the wait staff for food was a litte behind but that's ok. It was a nice experience overall.
Fantastic facility! Love the rooms.. And the service is fantastic.
dropped off a friend here for a conference. Seems like a very beautiful property.
The wedding venue area and the lobby was extremely beautiful. The outdoor lawn was very beautiful too. The location is pretty good and easy to reach.
Fantastic people, personal one on one service. The dining was excellent. The room was spacious and clean.
This place is beautiful. Very nice, especially for the price.
I attended a company conference in Washington 1. The support services, WiFi and accommodations were more than satisfactory. This location has interesting history as well, with the NRO nearby, there are cold war stories about clandestine meetings between rival agencies to be learned.
Very lovely place to stay lots of woods around you and makes you feel you are put in the country.
A wonderful stay. The views are stunning from all sides of the building, the lobby is magnificnt. 10/10 would recommend.
Solid conference location just outside of DC. Lovely grounds in a wooded setting with ample self parking lots albeit a distance from the lobby if the facility is full and front of building valet service at reasonable (for DC) costs. Interior lobby is nicely appointed and welcoming. Staff in general seemed in another place and weren't the happiest folks around for a Marriott facility, this across the board with all I interacted with. The restaurant in this Marriott didn't provide prompt service regardless of how busy they were, but the food served was a cut above the average found in similar locations. Excellent steaks, sizable salads with quality ingredients, and decent cocktails too. This carried over into the catered event dinner that I enjoyed. The buffet style breakfasts that our party catered for meetings were typical Marriott and just "ok". Rooms are typical Marriott and comfortable but not recently updated, expect the last generation look in halls and rooms. Water pressure and A/C work great (even cranked way down) in the rooms I have stayed in.
Overall: A decent lower cost alternative meeting and conference location to high priced city options with a staff that is probably a bit overworked and could use a little motivation.
I had the worst experience here with manager Brown I believe that was his name and the security guy who threatened me in my room. They said my TV was too loud which was not true. Even though if my TV was too loud according to them, you talk to your guest nicely and not threaten them with Police and kicking them out.
I would like to address this to their corporate as well not to hire unpleasant employees.
Never going back there again.
We were at a private function held in the room where brunch is usually served. This was a nice location! The lobby is elaborately styled for the holidays with massive trees and oversized nutcrackers, making for excellent photo stations.
Nice grounds. Bar was good place to meet and hang out before dinner
I enjoy this nifty hotspot to host my meetings and gatherings. The Starbucks is conveniently located inside the hotel as well as the conference rooms for my meetings and gatherings.
The crazies are out in force against the hotel. Alex Jones as a truth seeker? Please. Make sure you use top brand aluminum foil for your hats.
Unlike the conspiracy theorists, I have actually been at this hotel. Pretty nice, nothing really to write home about, had a normal hotel experience while on business.
