Carlin is the most unprofessional person this company has ever had. They will lie to you. They will steal your hard earned money... they will hold your last check and find a reason not to pay you... they will fire you for making mistakes.. WFX is unprofessional! The owner has a lot of bark but no bite.. and his lackies are running this place into the ground.

Dont understand why i was forced to quit just because i told shop to take there time with the new truck. Reason why i said that is because i wanted truck done right so wouldnt have to go the shop more than i have to . i wasnt able to run the miles do to 2 trucks going to the shop . specially the second truck and just starting the company 30 days in as a contractor so for that i was told im no fit to work there. I would like to add wfx is a good company

Walked into the office needing some paperwork. Gentleman sitting at the desk looks at me and I said "hi, how are you?" He simply looked back at his computer screen and didn't even acknowledge me. Sat there for 15 minutes before another gentleman asked me if I needed help AFTER he had finished helping another person. If its not your job then a simple "this guy here will be with you shortly" would have sufficed instead of blatantly ignoring me.

I had worked for almost a year there. The last 2 months were bad. As I was passed around from one dispatcher to another. Worked for almost 2 months without going for hometime. Every time I called in the dispatcher would be more interested in cursing at his computer then to help me get home. I live in El Paso and they sent me 500 miles from my home and then said I could go home on my own expense. I finally got them to pay for my miles. This was the end of me being able to trust them. After I got home I dropped the truck off at Kenworth due to a bad fifth wheel was advise it was no longer legal. I decided I had enough and quit/resigned but they are now saying I was terminated and charging me a bunch of fees. I have attached the fees so all can stay away from them.

Now that I m trying to get my career back on track they have started putting I abandon the truck. I didn t abandon in. The truck was at Kenworth for a dot repair which made it undrivable.

I was a potential candidate for your company. After reading every review. I seen a pattern from the "OWNER". Those WHO WERE HAVING ISSUES with you company you never denied the issues being presented. All you did was side step the problems with a platitude of partiality statements. Which as guy looking for a great company to drive for will not work for. Every comment I read with 5 stars is also a red flag. I have yet to see any company who put drivers first. An pay driver for ALL THERE TIME.

Show up and do your part, add a little hard work and the money is really good. Not the easiest company to get into but defiantly worth the extra time to get approved because you know your're 100% in the door with no chance of something coming up after you arrive! Orientation is above and beyond, these people actually sit down and talk with each driver and provide an unheard of experience and continue to every day of employment!

If I could give them a 0 I would. This company has so many issues and it all starts from the top. They don't train their people and expect them to know what's happening. Management WILL NOT take accountability for anything and then instead of training people to do thing right when they mess up, they fire them. They (management) needs to look long and hard in the mirror to fix things instead of having the "revolving door" policy they have. If I sound angered it's because I am, but it doesn't change the fact management is the issue and it shows.

Eric Lopez broker of this company auctions the loads. He does not put a price on them and asks you what is your rate.3 different companies gave him a rate below $2 per mile and he responded Will advise. This is an auction business where the lowest bidder takes it?

I was in the orientation with the husband of the lady with the long nasty review here and this story is not true in there was an inappropriate joke made on three occasions that were very offensive and derogatory so the company escorted her husband of the premises and I applaud them for that I WANT to work FOR a company who cares and I DONT want to work WITH anyone who is disrespecting me or any other employee I m satisfied with my new company

I give two stars. And they are for Tony. The driver manager out of Midlothian Tx. And for the equipment.
I started Feb 14 2020. Left Sept 23 2020.
When I left I gave one moth notice. ( If anyone wants proof of any facts I'm giving I have saved every email text from everyone including lease contract. Email me reapertruckline@gmail.com and I will send to you.)
I was in a small incident. No damages to truck or trailer. A power line needed to be reconnected. They will charge you 2500 for a claim deductable. I paid 2100. That's 21 weeks at 100 a week. I find that fare. But only thing is they charge you before any claim is made. In my case I was not at fault . The incident was capture on cam This was proven by the insurance claim department..And the Palistine Arkansas Shariff Said there won't be any action. Western Flyer still took money and it was never refunded. I turned in truck in great shape. Did not take anything. Tv inverter fridge. All left intact. In contact it says you will be charged a reconditioned fee if you terminate before 3 months. On my last settlement they charged me1000 along with every deduction they normally charge. But here is the thing. I did not run enough miles to cover all deductions. I would of been negative. So the doctor the settlement to cover everything. Now remember this is 1099. So you have to pay taxes on total income. I am currently filing in court. Asked to speak to legal department. No reply. So bottom line is. They are holding money taxe free 2100
They add miles to cover false expenses taxe free. But you will have to pay. And just FYI the state of Arkansas gives a 3 year statued of limitations on filling a claim. So they will hold my money tax free for 3 years. And that's even to say I get it back. You can talk to anyone. This is tax fraud. Any way not Horrible company. They know how to make money. And make money off your money. So good luck and do research before signing the dotted line.

Legit/Fair Review

I recently worked here!!
Pros/Cons
From the beginning I and other drivers at orientation weren t soo happy with the offer WFX was given. Many restrictions and rules.
WFX made it crystal clear that they really care more about the company than the driver.
Seemed like they want to charge you for everything despite paying the .12 cents for maintenance.
The 3 party recruiter told me that WFX had a line of new truck to choose from, but not true. WFX had trucks between 30k-500k + miles, so we had to choose from whatever was available. I ended up lucking out with that 30k newer truck.

I really felt as if the company wants to fire you and doesn t care about you despite having a perfect driving record. ( no tickets or accidents)
Very strict 6 rules will get you fired!

I can t say much about the pay, since I didn t get to work here that long. Seemed like to get a good check you needed to sacrifice home time.

What I did like was the people there are cool!! Everyone!! From the president to safety, dispatch!!
I had an awesome Dispatcher who gave me what I wanted, I never lost time!! He had a load for me back to back!! Trucks with camera run 73mph. Newer equipment. They take care of there equipment!!

Honestly there are more Cons then Pros!!
If you like to be home, this place is not for you!

Hey, no hard feelings!!

This is by far the worst company I have ever worked for and I have worked for a few. The first day I received my truck and was given a load, the truck broke down. The company provided me a loaner truck at my own expense. Two days after having the loaner truck I closed the door and the window shattered, making the truck not drivable under dot regulations. I received my original truck back and pick up a load from Houston to Oklahoma, I picked up a sealed trailer that I later found out was empty. The company started I was responsible for their mistakes and they were not going to compensate me for my miles driven. I return home on home time on a Sunday night. From Monday to Tuesday I spoke with several people concerning this issue I had regarding not getting paid and when I will be leaving out. I checked my email for a pay statement to only find out from payroll that employee checks are held during home time and will not be available to me until I leave out. I park my truck in front of my residence, at 8:30 the truck was still present with all my belongings. I return home from a outing and the truck was not there. I called dispatch and they informed my of a approximately location of the truck, but stated they could not give me a physical address. Early the following morning my neighbor gave me information for the truck location, I contacted the facility. Upon speaking with a representative from the tow yard they informed me that the truck was towed because the company informed them I quit. I never gave verbal nor written consent that I had quit or had intentions on quoting.

This company is a joke. They dont care about the safety of the employees during bad weather. They talk crazy to you and over work you for the salary pay, you work 10hrs a day get paid for only 8hrs and they make you work every other weekend and don't pay you for it.

Pulled a random on my husband while his "new" truck was at Peterbilt. Relying on hotel for transportation he was late for UA, and they reported him as refusing.
That was 3 weeks ago still have not received final check.

I was interested in maybe being a LP driver but the negative reviews are very discouraging, I'm definitely not new to this business so I know you can't believe everything you read, its very interesting that majority of the negative comments are about the same issues.

Okay company to start off, but no matter what company you lease a truck from them, remember they buy alot of them at once so they get a discount and sell it to you for sticker price and ppl call it the never never plan because you lose the lease when you get fired and the company keeps all the money you have gave them...just save up and buy your own truck and you'll be fine as a company driver.

I worked just over a month for them. I had applied...

I worked just over a month for them. I had applied for a Pharr-DFW-McAllen route they had advertised. I should have known after recruiter sent me a sheet saying "10% exception from your route" and had to sign before coming to orientation that something shady was up. The recruiter, the orientation staff, and the worst of all the manager from the Midlothian terminal who shall remain nameless are just lies. The route is not truly dedicated, you will run short 250-500 mile loads of tile and tires around Texas and Oklahoma. You will make measly $350 checks and rarely be home. The only thing they have that's decent is the equipment-not including trailers. 85% of them have some issue. If you get a DOT inspection and they find a company maintenance violation, say goodbye to $50 from your check for something they should be responsible for! They can terminate your employment for parking on on-ramps and pull off areas where typically its permitted to park.

Stay away from the lease program they offer. Its one of the worst there is. $650 dollars for nearly 3000 miles of work is what you will make. Don't let the new shiny syndrome overtake your senses. Don't become a glorified company driver.

Please make an informed decision and take it all with a grain of salt, both mine and other reviews but most all who have worked here before and left would agree with all of this

Waste of employment opportunity, no matter what go...

Waste of employment opportunity, no matter what good you try to accomplish for this company the son and dad that own the company are always conflicting in the direction they see the company going in. They allow personnel that has been there for years that are bad apples to ruin and run off good personnel. They micromanage to the point that it is financially a disaster, I had the spreadsheets to prove this at that, they rob their truck drivers by charging them for issues with trucks that shouldn't have been the drivers fault but the maintenance department, they had me processing thousands of these charge backs to the drivers for issues with trucks that should have been corrected by the company. They funny part in all of this, it wasn't even what I was hired to do here. In fact I never had an opportunity to do anything that I was hired to do because the company was moving and I was constantly having to answer to the beck and call of technicians that didn't want to work on the equipment. Mind you I was what legitimate logistics companies would have considered a jewel, someone who was getting the record deals on negotiations. In turn what I got was fired while on vacation. I even recorded the conversation on when the Dad fired me someday I will put that up here so everyone can see for themselves what a Godless man this guy is! Don't buy into his Godly literature that he spills out on plaques and such. He is far from even spiritual. Beware to anyone who attempts to work here, if you do not have strong ties elsewhere this would be considered career suicide.

I was injured on the job in New Mexico, the insurance of WFE gave me the run around and WFE said that they were letting me go. I mentioned that I hab an attorney and all of a sudden their attitude changed and were paying me disability from October until January. I was released to go back to work and I contacted WFE, at which time they said I wasn't going to be returned to work because the new safety director didn't like the idea that I was paid for my time off. I was a company driver. Good luck if you choose this company.

I have been a lease operator for almost 2 years now. I must say everything they promised me they have delivered on. I brought home over $108000 last year and this year is even starting out better. If your like most of these other jelly back drivers that give a bad review then this company is not for you, but if you like to run, have attitude of a business person you will succeed over here. Don't pay any attention to all the bad reviews because your only getting one side of the story. You get what you give, if you give them 110% I promise you will receive 110%!!!

Don't do business with this company. They used my company for a road service call in FL and have taken about a month to pay for services rendered. The worst part about it is they shorted my company on what the invoice was for. I've tried calling and emailing Drew, Tiffany and Brandon but no one answers. This company does shady business

I had a very positive experience until recently. I am super disappointed in a company I've spoken very highly of & trusted to be fair in their dealings. I cant trust to be paid what I worked for. It seems they've started finding any reason to steal from the O/Os now. The way it was explained in orientation was gross negligence of the truck, we'd have to cover repair & that made sense to me.

How is a tire blowout while driving, much less than speed limit in thick traffic...btw, extreme negligence?....It just happens to be the same tire that was reported as a repeated slow air leak & supposed to had been changed less than 24hrs before.

There was no explanation of being charged prior to seeing this line item on my settlement either. There seems to be some VERY fishy business practices lately.

UPDATE TO REVIEW 02/25/2018
My husband loved this company and I was ecstatic for him to be so happy. He got sick from possible carbon monoxide poisoning in the truck he was leasing from YOU and was left in TX stranded. He reached out with multiple emails explaining what happened, asking to make things good and get his job back, or at least our items that were in the truck, BUT he never got a call or email back. This has left us in a very bad situation of being homeless and him feeling as if he failed me and even your company. I would have expected better from this company in the way of communication and I am greatly disappointed in y'all. I won't bad mouth this company BUT I wanted you to know this isn't the way to play with people's lives whose livelihood depends on their job.

An amazing company to work for! They have their quirks but what company doesn't. Easy to talk to so make sure you keep constant communication going!

So far I've been here almost two weeks and I am happy. The only thing stopping me from giving five stars is still waiting for the truck I'm hoping to get. So far everything that was said in orientation seems to be the way it is when you get on the road.

Got my new truck on Wednesday the 13th brand new 2020 579 peterbilt.

This company fired my ex for a problem he couldn t have done himself. He got def in his fuel system somehow and they tried saying he made it from Arizona to Colorado. Not possible. They tried saying he was just trying to sabotage his truck THAT HE WAS PAYING FOR. They fired him without even looking into the issue then later called him and told him that they are taking a truck stop to court. They are also messing with the wages of someone I referred to them. They are taking out 2 truck payments a week even tho he is only leasing 1. DO NOT EVEN TRY GOING WITH THEM. The only good part about this company is Paige who s a recruiter and Ken who is dispatch.

This company fired my husband because I have cancer. He told them prior to bdinb hired about my condition and that he needed to have his phone available for texts or calls from me. They said that was fine. Well apparently that was a lie! To top it all off, they had him thrown out of the hotel they had him stay in, knowing that he didn't live close or have access to a vehicle. This is discrimination at it's finest and we will be pursuing any legal route that we can. DO NOT APPLY FOR THIS COMPANY! They don't care about their driver's or the driver's family. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ALMIGHTY $$$ AND YOUR JUST CONSIDERED A LOW LIFE DRIVER!

****OH AND PLEASE DO ME A FAVOR AND NOT COMMENT WITH THE SAME COPY AND PASTE REPLY YOU'VE DONE TO ALL THE OTHER BAD COMMENTS. IT'S VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, BUT I'M NOT SURPRISED YOU DON'T ADDRESS EACH INDIVIDUAL NEGATIVE POST, BECAUSE YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR DRIVER'S!!!!

This is a go go go company we have the best equipment and the nicest trucks the owner aka pops doesn't spare any money on keeping his drivers happy except I really want to drive that race car lol. I been here for awhile I get great miles and made alot of friends. Our terminal is top of the line like a trucker pentagon we.have a huge shop and a sick drivers lounge and I mean like rich kids of Hollywood sick. The office keeps you moving you never will sit unless you are on a restart. They treat you like family and always are there for you. Except when you want to drive the race car lol. But honestly.working here gives me that feeling of pride, because I know that I'm working for the best company in the USA. Any driver can find a job but only Western Flyer Drivers find a home.FWWF

If I would have just listen to the reviews I wouldn t be doing one myself. Please believe the reviews. Yes the trucks are good. But the professionalism from the upper management is horrible. They lie to you about everything. I sign up to run I-40 and below one week shy from my 90 days Carlin going to tell me I have to run Kansas. That s not apart of I-40. I was a lease purchase driver which they try to treat us like company drivers. Now that I have quit they are holding my last two checks.

Worked for WFX for 2 months as a lease operator (11/18-01/19). Worse decision in my truck driving career!!! The lease is just like the IRS- the more you make, the more they take!!!! 3000 miles=$855 truck note + $370 warranty !!!! $1200 gone before the cost of fuel, insurance, and other ridiculous deductions!!! Warranty means they install recaps and used parts whenever they see fit. New trucks comes with factory warranty but you still pays there s! All lease drivers make sure you get video and pictures from the day you first lease and the day you return the truck!!!! The one star (equal to 5) is for All the employees in the Texas terminal, the 4 people on night dispatch, Curt, Chris and the young lady who drives in orientation! They were great.

Oh yea the owner discriminated against drivers by having it to where only certain people can get certain trucks (w900&389) lease purchase. But will give you a 389 as a company driver in the sand division even if you only have 1 week experience!!!

Save yourself the trouble and just be a company driver if you go.

Started off ruff but once you learn the in's and out's of the company the money is there. Im on the I40 fleet running anywhere from 2900 to 3600 miles a week. On the low weeks I'm bringing home. $1450 high weeks $1800 after expenses

Pros and cons. Desent equipment trailer included. Dispatch hit or miss. Miles average not OUTSTANDING. Maintenance dept works hard for drivers. Safety dept super strict. Terminated due to speeding warning understandable. Was charged for new tires and fuel that I never used. And they're telling would be employers I had two accidents when I didn't have any. Some many rules it was hard just to do your job.

I worked there for 13 weeks as a independent contractor then on 8/19 they terminated my contract because I wouldn't run the northeast. Then after they had me clean out the truck at the OKC yard in 115 degree weather with no A/C they wanted me to take a bus home that meant I couldn't get all my stuff on the bus so i had my wife drive down from Iowa to get me at 4:50pm i found out they put a 45 day hold on my last two settlements. I asked them do I need a attorney to get my money they said i wasn't getting paid till my attorney contacted there's. That's a bad way to do people so I'm getting an attorney. By Oklahoma law i was told they had to pay me for all work done on the next pay period that was today 8/20/19. It took 45 days to get my last two settlements. They did take $1,000 for them breaking the contract and took money for a bus ticket that i didn't get my wife came and picked me up and was charged for a motel room.

Their not very professional treat lease drivers like company adding more expenses after pay raise tell you it will be up to 45 days to get your last check which you will not receive one and poor communication as well. Your fleet manages will not talk to you after hours not family oriented and good if you want to get 600 dollars as a lease driver. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone better off working for Swift.

The recruiter got me there by lies and more lies. Than when I get there I was treated with no respect by the so call safety director Chris because I'm a bounty hunter law enforcement and on the second day I talk to my dispatch over the phone and told him the same thing I told my recruiter about my family vacation with my kids for 3days and the one day of court in the near future he went back and lie and said I needed a week off for a family vacation and a week off for court so the next morning the so call safety director Chris told me I wasn't a good fit for the company and we going to let you go. I had so much stuff that they still put me on a bus instead of renting me a car to get home. I was out off money that I didn't have to get my stuff home and when they call me to give me my bus information the man told me that it was told to him that I need a week off to do bounty hunting that was another lie they just couldn't get their lies together. Not a good company to work for. By the way the bus drive was a two day bus ride

I ran in a 3 state lane. The trucks fuel mileage was inaccurate. Console read 6.8mpg. It actually ran 5.3mpg they took the money even though the mpg was wrong and they knew it was. I took home around $350 a week running a three state lane averaging 2500 miles per week.

Started out great, but finished very bad. Fuel discounts disappeared after the 30 day probation period was over. Even before the I noticed that every now and then I did not receive the fuel discount shown on the EFS app. When I started asking questions I was l was fired . With them saying it wasn't a good fit. I ask for an audit of the books and they told me I could have an independent audit done but was fired before I could do so. Now on my final settlement they are trying to charge me for a bus I never took and truck payment and deductions 4 months in the past while I was still in orientation. . I can only call that a fraudulent thing to do. I at this time pursuing a wrongfull termination and breach of contract and now will also be looking in to filing fraud charges if appropriate. Beware is all I can say
