Great experience with this particular thrift store. Got lost and called and they came outside to look for me haha. They have a lot of great stuff in this store. Found lots of gems will definitely be back soon to check out and look for more. Overall great experience and very friendly service!
Pretty good cross section of items, home goods, clothes, some furniture! Prices are good, when checking out, I asked price on 2 clothing items and was told both were $3, then as cashier rang the items up, 1 changed to $5!!!
This is both a youth center, and thrift shop. The thrift store has many high end, and great condition items around. If you really hunt, you can find some quite expensive name brands for pennies on the dollar. Super nice staff, great selection, always changing.
Great non profit thrift store that uses all of its proceeds to help homeless LGBT youth and gets them on the right track. We take all of our donations there even though we live 45 mins away.
We love the HUGE, well laid out store. Come often because they are constantly getting new donations and their pricing is reasonable. Go get your thrift on so these folks can help homeless LGBTQ youth get off the streets.
Loved my visit here. Found TONS of stuff and everything was very reasonably priced. Will definitely stop in here every time I visit from out of town. AND there was so much laughter among the ladies working it made my day! I rarely write reviews but Definitely wanted to share my positive experience here!
Unfortunately the Youth Center is unable to keep the same staff for more than a few months at a time. Also the new so called manager in the Thrift store she is very rude like the ones that have been there for years who only look down on youth because they think youth are receiving to much so they have stated. Company helps who they want which tend to be those who dont even help themselves. So If you are a strong individual who doesnt rely on others for help all the time you can forget getting real help here. For years I have seen this company prey on the weak to get Donations and run Genuine staff off or Terminate them. Then when you post the truth the company ask you well why do you come here?, these post mess up our Donation system. The real question should be how can we improve. When Power people come to youth center try talking to youth individually and ask them what they think!
Amazing Place, There s a lot of stuff to choose from at amazing prices (I loved their music CD department, so many CD s to choose from, i m so glad to be able to help out my LGBTQ+ community, everyone there is very friendly staff and definitely recommend for everyone to visit.
One of the best thrift stores I've been to, and that's saying something. Lost-N-Found won my heart right away by having gender-free restrooms, and I loved seeing all the clothes that would look great on someone else. (I'm a 22W Tall/48x30/3XLT, so I don't go into a thrift store expecting to find stuff for myself!) My wife also got some great deals and we were happy to support such an important cause.
Amazing store that offers an excellent service to our community, and employs wonderful associates that are always willing to help. Has an abundance of perfectly priced items that would a great addition to anybody s wardrobe. This place is a must to get a shopping spree underway. Check it out. Happy shopping!!
Great experience, very good thrift store & for a good local cause. We brought our donations in & were able to get help unloading them and they were very friendly!
As much as I want to help this organization, the staff makes it very difficult. They are rude, don't want to give receipts, and for some reason think you can't park in the loading dock area to unload large items. Say what you want about Goodwill, but at least they appreciate your donations without attitude.
Great selection, (AND it's organized by size! A huge plus!) wonderful staff, clean store and awesome prices. I always find something when I come here. I will be a forever customer!
Absolutely love this thrift shop! It is very well organised, the staff are a lot of fun, and they have done so much for LGBT kids. And let's face it, Atlanta's LGBT community members donate really good stuff. If you're shopping on a very tight budget, this is the place to go to. Go on the fourth Monday of the month to find clothing and housewares on sale for half off. 'Like' them on Facebook to see photos of newly-donated furniture, collectibles, and other interesting items.
I have been a loyal, avid supporter/customer of Lost and Found for just about 10 years. Until today and I will never set foot inside the store again! I have bought clothing, shoes, art, furniture, etc. and have, additionally, made donations. In the past, I have always been treated with respect and had good relationships with management throughout these 10 years. I also even promoted Lost and FOund on my Facebook and Instagram pages and WAS preparing to feature Lost and Found on my podcast and web presence now in development. After today that will not happen. I was turned away and treated like I was there to shoplift because I didn't want to check my bag. I didn't object when asked and exited the main area. I sat for a few minutes to rest in the foyer as I'd walked there and wanted to cool down since I didn't get a chance to shop. The manager followed me and said I wasn't allowed in the store with my bag and this wasn't his rule. I left immediately w/o protest. I was never made to feel unwelcome or treated as if I posed a threat to Lost and FOund. I found this really strange after I'd just been there on Monday, today is Wednesday, and I was asked to have my temperature checked, which I did w/o protest. No mention was made of my backpack and shopped w/o incident and bought some really nice items. I won't go back after today. I don't like being made to feel that I am a threat or a shop lifter when I wear a mask, wore gloves in the beginning of COVID, and have joyously supported and promoted this great services for years..
Love this place. I'm in from Philadelphia for a few days and stopped in to get a couple things (because I did a terrible job packing). My husband and I ended up spending an hour in here and leaving with two bags full of great finds for cheap (and for a good cause).
Super friendly staff. I have donated clothing, electronics, furniture, and other household items here several times over the past few years and if there s someone up front I m always greeted and asked if I need a donation receipt. Proceeds from sales go to a good cause. I think they do a good job at keeping the place organized and prices marked.
I find it depressing that I can not refer any of my clients who are HIV negative, The message that we send to LGBT is that we will only help you if you are HIV +
This store supports LGBT youth that are homeless and have been thrown aside by their relatives. The staff is great and at the ready to help. The prices are very fair and you can ger some good deals here. I urge everyone to please patronize this store and donate to help this cause.
Will unfortunately no longer shop here after today :( back in the day this use to be a great place to shop for amazing deals on amazing items. Now it seems like the items they are only selling are broken incomplete items. Shelves in the back and on the sides are a mess. The prices got supper jacked up. The atmosphere today was just odd. Staff did not seem friendly. The helpers out front seemed to be working very hard tho. The inside staff not so much.. If I wanted to pay eBay or Amazon cost for items I would go on eBay or Amazon with warranty lol. If you want eBay price then sell on ebay.. People don't go to thrift stores to pay $30. For boots and $99 for a tea set. Stay humble and revise the store. Till then. You lost a customer
I have been shopping at lost an found for 4 years and yesterday I was very unsatisfied I bought a Neato robotic Vac an it dosen't work since the management has Changed the quality of Service is not good I paid $100 for this thing , (it Should have been tested first before put out to be sold that's no fair to the Customers ,I will make sure i contact them to let them know that's not a fair deal
This is my go-to store. I always find such amazing gems here. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have so many amazing finds and it all goes to a great cause.
Fun well organized place to shop. They tend to get in some really interesting books and magazines. Not my best bet for clothes, but they do get some funny t shirts new with tags that would make a great gay gag gift. I love donating my old stuff here knowing it will help LGBT youth in Atlanta. Given this theme some of the older employees should be trained for how to avoid misgendering the customers. But the person I normally see at the front desk is really conscious of gender, friendly, polite and will answer all your questions!
Great place for finding little gems. You never no what you may find it here. We got a great vintage bed, A table and a men's belt for an affordable price. Fully Recommend it!
Well I have to admit that this IS my favorite thrift store. The music is always popping and the staff is friendly and helpful. They get a full range of items from stylish clothing, housewares, linens and furniture. The prices are extremely reasonable and you are supporting a great cause.
Very friendly staff, very helpful, not the biggest store and parking is a bit hectic, but did find quite a few cute things in here for the house, and its all helping the LGBT community and nothing can be better than that
We have always loved shopping here and supporting this non-proft. Unfortunately, things have changed in the store over the last 2 years. The prices have gone up and the atmosphere isn't as welcoming.
I went in today and almost immediately walked out as I noticed employees weren't wearing their marss consistently or over their noses. They also let what looked like a customer walk throughout the store with his mask on his chin.
It's disappointing because of all the good that they do. Their support of homeless LGBTQ youth is much needed, as is the food available to those in need at their front doors.
This place has so many hidden treasures and we always find great clothes furniture and misc items for our home, and the 1st Monday of each month all clothes are half off
I found this thrift store very organized with interesting merchandise. I found more vintage hats and men's clothes than expected. Would recommend. I bought white bed sheet for craft fabric.
This is a great organization and they have a great thrift store. They help homeless gay youth and they have a great selection of housewares, clothing, etc.

Not sure what I was expecting (a standard second hand store?) but I was pleasantly surprised to find it has truly unique character. The store also has a higher purpose mission to help LGBT youth. The items I found on my first visit were EXACTLY what I had been looking for AND they were all from higher end retailers.
Lost n' Found is the store that keeps on giving. Needless to say, I will definitely go back.
Amazing cause (LGBT run away youth) and they have some pretty fantastic things. Bunch of clothing and dishes of all kinds, even furniture in good condition.
The manager on duty would not sell me a chandelier that was clearly marked $3 and told me that he cannot sell a chandelier for $3 even though it was on the sales floor and priced incorrectly....(It wasnt the only inncorrectly priced chandelier, so it was whoever was pricing the items fault not mine).DONT PUT ITEMS ON SALES FLOOR IF YOU DONT WANT TO SELL THEM!!..... The store lost my sale because i had many other items I was going to buy!!....and now i probably wont he back in a while.....is this a charity or what?...arent the items donated?
Prices are always extremely reasonable and proceeds go to a wonderful cause. The staff is very helpful and the experience always pleasant. 10/10 would recommend.
This is a really important organization, with money going directly to helping homeless LGBT youth. The selection is always changing and I think they offer a lot more interesting items than the bigger thrift stores.
