Stevens Trucking Reviews

I've worked at Stevens for 2 years and have always been treated fairly and with respect, just remember you have to give it to get it. The old saying of honest days work for a honest days pay is all Mr. Stevens asks for, no they are not perfect, no one is but they will actually take reasonable suggestions to make things better and actually try them. This is a nice family to work for, my mother recently passed and not only did they give me the time I needed off but they also sent flowers checked to see if I needed anything. Update 10/2020 still working at Stevens and plan on retiring from here. Even though it's a pandemic going on our freight base is strong, so we're busy and with that being said I'm blessed to be working here and blessed to still have a job. Thank you Mr. Stevens and family!!!

My dad works there and I never seen him more happier at any trucking job. He gets home when he wants and the pay is good for him. Hopefully when I am done with CDL school I will work for them.

Thanks to all the reviews It stopped me from making a mistake in applying here, Iv been a driver for twenty years and with over 3 million miles under my belt no tickets or accidents. was looking for a good place to retire from here in my home town, I see this isn't the place.. I see they don't even take the time to respond or defend any of the comments. Something is wrong, I cant take a chance to find out if they are good or bad.. Good luck to everyone working for theme or thinking about it..

This trucking company is terrible the drivers can t drive they don t know how to drive on the road they are not professional drivers when I called to complain on the driver nobody is respond my call unfortunately it doesn t allow me to upload the photo here but the Vin number of the truck is KSKH0801

They are a great company n definitely not thieves.. Mr. Stevens n his family as well as staff wonderful people. Amazing equipment n great miles.

DRIVERS BEWARE...... IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A $1 BUY OUT LEASE OR TRUE 100% WALK AWAY LEASE DO NOT COME HERE..... MYSELF AND ANOTHER DRIVER I KNOW WALKED AWAY AND THEY KEPT ANY AND ALL OWED MONEY... MYSELF IS OWED FOR OVER 2000 MILES AND A BUDDY OF MINE WHEN HE WALK AWAY HE HAD RAN CLOSE TO 6000 MILES IN 2.5 WEEKS AND THEY ONLY PAID HIM $400 AND CHANGE.... IN TIMES LIKE THIS (COVID19) WHERE WORK IS REALLY HARD TO FIND AND BILLS ARE NEXT TO IMPOSSIBLE TO PAY A COMPANY CHOOSES TO ACT LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Communication is terrible in the office especially the dispatchers towards the drivers! One dispatcher seems to think he knows everything and is very disrespectful to whoever comes in the office!
Here is a question, how accurate is the GPS ? Can t believe they go off a GPS to check speed. Sounds like they just look for ways to fire people especially during a crucial time of everyone s life!

Five stars because I had an awful experience at WFX and Stevens I hear is quite the place to drive!

My husband started working there a couple of months ago. They have given him the run around, left him sitting, and rude when he calls in. Especially the weekend dispatcher Jerry!!!!!!!

Management is sub-par at best. Safety manager used to be a cop and got fired for abuse of power, then carried it over to this job. The owner just blindly listens to this "man". The owner's son won't even talk to you face to face if there is an issue. The dispatch department can't communicate to save their lives and force dispatch you and will fire you even though you have no idea you had a load. Needless to say horrible/toxic work environment. They act like they are God's gift to the trucking industry and treat you like a number.

Hands down one of the best outfits I've had the pleasure to work for. Safety department is easy to keep happy, dispatch does their best to help and fulfill the drivers needs, mr Stevens will talk to anyone, and has never acted like hes above me. No it's not peachy every single day, and tension is high with this virus, but this company has done what they can to make a profit, while keeping drivers going. I'm glad I ignored every single negative comment here. With this company u get what u put in. If u work, u make money.

Don't even waste your time with these Guys they will tell you anything to get you in the door but once you there they don't give 2 cents about the driver they constantly nick pic over anything you do wrong they don't train U worth a poop and when u mess up they quick to write you up I got wrote up my second day for not operating their trashy Qualcomm system had I would saw a review like this I wouldn't have wasted my time glad I don't work there anymore time for a real job and to make sum real money stay away from this Trailer trash company If you're smart ask about their High turn over rate Putos

I was considered entitled for asking for water during oriantation...Mitch the manager said that because I was barely there for anytime at all I was asking too much??? It was a write up! Literally something he had to discuss with me behind closed doors . At the end of the day according to osha they are required to provide water even though I never made a deal out of not getting any in the first place, just asking for some was enough to get wrote up. Dang my head is still trying to make sense of this. I was told I d be getting paid 24 an hour in state and 17 % of the load outside of state. 24 an hour sounded pretty good only up until you start to realize why they put the 17% of the load in there. Realize now that the majority of your loads will be out of state. Which means percentage loads. They realize that more times than not if they continued to pay hourly it would exceed greatly over the 17% of the load. If you do work in state during the week be prepared to go outside of state when you get close to 40 hours. They don t wanna pay overtime.. trust me they ve thought of ways to get people in the door with the 24 then screw them when all the math is calculated out. 0 stars for this company. A company is only as good as how they treat their employees. I told them that their decision to screw people will come back to bite them. Make sure all the other 5 star rating on here are legitimate. With the way they treated someone they barely knew I can t imagine someone taking their time to go write a positive review for them. Which means any good review would be illegitimate.. take care guys be smart!

Been out here 34 years, some of the worst driving I have ever seen.

Ran my family and I off the road almost into a pole. Truck didnt stop. Honked and chased after him, didnt pull over or acknowledge. Took pictures. Filed police report. Called "safety officer" Mitch, who when he replies asks questions and implies he'll get back in contact with you, blaims you for anything while claiming ignorance, and dodges all contact.

Love it here. Family oriented...for real this time. Great opportunity. Wonderful people and travel lanes

Watch out for these trucks on the road they will run you off the road

Great place to work! It's a family run business from a family that cares! Our family has been working for them for nearly 3 years and love it.

With the exception of 4 months, I've been here 4.5 years still love working here. I get plenty of miles with all the respect that a driver deserves!!!

I have friends that work in the shop and have been up there a few times to see what s up and go get lunch. Everyone is friendly and does their own thing. Lots of drivers are in and out and I don t ever hear anything bad when I listen to them talk. I do listen cause I might want to work there. They all seem friendly and happy. One time I was there and saw the head shop and safety guy talking and they said hi and were nice enough. I don t get all the bad press that other people write cause I didn t see it. I see their trucks all the time and never see them speeding or driving bad. I see people with Stevens Trucking shirts on and there always nice. Everyone has their own experience I guess and don t mind posting about it. Thanks for being nice to someone who doesn t even work there.

One of their truckers cut my boyfriend and I off, got into our lane (his opposing lane). He sped up and just barely missed us with his trailer because we backed up quickly. Typically we re understanding with truck drivers, but this driver was acting out of rage.

Best company ive ever had the pleasure to work for...family owned and the owner and his sons are the most awsome people in the world

Wil is a great instructor, he made learning fun and interesting. Will recommend to anyone who has a open mind on learning and has a sense of humor.

This company pre approve you, then congratulate you into the company. Have you do this and that only to come with the bs 3 years of employment . But they quickly to forget that people lost jobs within those 3 years... Meanwhile I shelled out more than $ 300 dollars buying that which was told for me to buy... Thanks for showing me now what was to come from this company

I don't know what these guys are talking about this is a really good company to work for everyone here is really nice even the owner and his sons they talk to you like a person still like a dog and all the shop people even nice to all the drivers they do keep up all the trailers and trucks and make sure there nothing wrong with them to me they just want to put down the company this is a really good company to work for and I don't see anything wrong with this company there really good people and I can't remember when I work for a company that is good to there drivers and employees best company I work for in long time so I say again I don't know what these guys are talking about it a good company and really good equipment .

Good shipping handles primarily frate,and oil field services. Pay is hood there but your on call 24/7 so you have no life I'd you work here.

Great trucking company! Wonderful Family run operation that is great to their drivers and treats each and everyone of them like family. Tons of miles and great pay for layovers / lcl work / down time etc.. Good company
