I love all the docs here. The are superior to what you get at a regular western medicine clinic. They treat you like a real person and LISTEN to you!

It is very unfortunate that a place like this exists. When people are looking for the best in health care and want knowledgeable advice it should not be hard to access. I thought seeking out a natural approach might offset the traditional patterns Of capitalist healthcare. Unfortunately, you would have to have well educated physicians that operate with their patients best interest at heart. You will not find that here.

Best place for integrative medicine! They have several great Naturopaths, a skincare specialist, and an on-site natural supplement pharmacy.

We've been going to them since they opened. What I love is that their Naturopathic physicians are highly knowledgeable about conventional medicine, but also about alternatives. They're wonderful about strengthening your base-line health and addressing the long-term issues that affect everything. But if you need to see a regular cardiologist or a foot doctor, they'll let you know. They'll mostly prescribe herbal supplements, but if you need antibiotics, they'll prescribe them. In other words, they know the strengths of their approaches, and also those of other approaches. This makes them perfect primary care providers.

We took our daughter to see Emily Lesnak from her infancy to 1 year. Then we got new insurance. She was professional, calm, friendly and informative. They have a great online system where you can ask your doctor questions.

I walked out after waiting 25 minutes for my first appt. Completely unprofessional I just hope my insurance wasn't billed for something that never happened. I wouldn't recommend going. Side note: the reception girls were super nice but didn't check with dr or let me know they were running late.

Don't even bother leaving a message: it won't get returned. On their voice recording it did make mention of using a certain program for scheduling an appointment but come to find out, that program is only for existing patients. If they don't have a dedicated receptionist or at the very least, someone tasked with retrieving messages and responding promptly then I'm not sure how how their existing patients were able to become patients. In general, returning phone calls is a common courtesy not to mention that in a business environment, it is crucial if you want to stay in business.
I had an urgent situation that needed attention and had they responded to my call and been able to get me in, I would have most likely stayed on as a regular patient. However, not now. You lost me. And most likely, a number of other people. West Seattle is a small community and I wouldn't think you would want that kind of reputation here.

Wonderful experience! Finally found a doctor, Dr Cook, who takes the time to listen to me. I mean really listen. Love this place!!

Dr. Lesnak is excellent. She listened to all my concerns and never dismissed them. We worked together as a team to create health plan that helped me heal enough to go back to work. Highly recommend her.

Dr. Taylor has helped me with health issues that general practitioners and specialists either haven't been able to or haven't been bothered to address. She takes the time to listen to me and really digs to find the root of the problem rather than just prescribing a drug to mask the problem.

We love Dr Katherine Oldfield and the other docs at West Seattle Natural Medicine. My wife and I have been going since she first bought the clinic, and she's always so wise, caring, creative. Just your perfect doctor. I really do think we're in far better shape as a result of her terrific advice and the supplements she prescribes. We've referred lots of friends as well, and they're all equally delighted.

It is nice to find a Naturopathic doctor's clinic in town that accepts most insurances. On the other hand, appointments run late, which is annoying because I have to take time off work to come in and just sit in the lobby for 20-30 mins waiting.
Also be careful and do your research before you agree to any advanced testing that they recommend. I just had a horrible billing experience with Genova Diagnostics, when I was charged twice to what I was quoted by the front desk here. I understand that they are working with the 3rd party lab, but when it is a pattern of unethical billing practices that happens over and over again, I think you should not refer your patients to Genova Diagnostics and find an alternative lab to work with.
