I had a second opportunity to visit this facility and reevaluate my experience. Everything was wonderful and the staff was terrific! I appreciate all the great care and the help. Thanks, as always, Lewis

The nursing staff is very rude and unprofessional! I am currently a patient and my blood pressure is extremely high and Nurse Zammy was literally arguing back and forth with me; right in front of the charge nurse Jenna. Who does that? All I wanted to know if the linen is changed every morning and one of the nurses stated "you don't change your bed linen every day at home." Nurse Zammy said you haven't been here for 24 hours yet. I asked to speak with the charge nurse (Jenna). When she walked in the room she had a disgusting look on her face. When I tried to explain to her what transpired and she said these are two good nurses and you dont change your bed linen every day at home. When I told her what Zammy said, Zammy started arguing with me back and forth. Jenna wasn't apologetic or anything her tone did change when I asked for her name.
Issues like this can be stressful because these are the people that administer the meds and basically have your life in their hands.

I've been in the hospital several times and this is by far the worst experience. The management team should have training classes on professionalism and empathy. Patients are here to get better not talked down to or receive sarcastic remarks.

I contacted Dr. Priti Kothari's office to see my son who has Tourette Syndrome. He has been in a substance abuse program for the past 9 months. I was told by the receptionist that Dr. Kohari does not accept any patients with a history of substance abuse. It did not matter that he has been sober for 9 months and is drug tested 2-3 times a week. Very sad.

This is for a visit I had a little over a year ago I'm just getting around to writing.
First important to understand that this is a privately owned hospital owned by Tenet a for profit corporation. Their man objective is to make money which is not unreasonable. Its just that they do that to the detriment of patients.
The staff is mainly 3rd world as they can pay them less. Nice people but while in America I prefer having American born and educated here treating me as opposed those educated in some other country. In today's politically correct world that truth may be difficult acknowledge. Its a little uneasy when a nurse or doctor assistant has trouble speaking English fluently and they are supposed to be looking out for your health. Again you pay for what you get. I guess for a very minor emergency you can take a chance but would be real concerned with any surgery.

Amazing staff , they took really good care of me for all the time I was in there , I had no problem at all with them not understanding my language - English and Portuguese also , so I would definitely go back and get another procedure done , I was discharged yesterday and completely satisfied with my stay ! I sincerely don t understand what s all t fuss about in these bad comments below , which makes me sad , so just because someone is not born American He ain t good enough to take care of you ?! Sad world :/

This is the worst hospital. I received horrible treatment and actually left worse then when I went in. Dr. Marques is completely incompetent. It's concerning the care patients at this hospital are receiving.. nurses put in minimal effort and doctors are too busy for their time. Shockingly, this hospital has made no attempts to care for it's patients.

Recently had a scheduled surgery here. All of the staff made a difficult situation more comfortable. Very glad I chose this facility. Every interaction with staff was professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this hospital. In particular I would like to thank Julie, Michael and Maureen. They were all so wonderful to me! I don t know how to reach out to them and say thank you (or even if I ve spelled their names right) but hopefully this will reach them. Thanks so much to all of you!

The nurses and techs here are amazing and compassionate. I've been here for almost 3 days with excruciating headaches. The attending physicians Ali and Kamal would not even give me Tramadol, a NON narcotic! Finally they gave me a whole 25 mg. I played 11 years as a professional hockey goaltender, I have a high threshold for pain and this did nothing for me. I got the impression that because I have a Jewish last name (even though I am on 25% Jewish) that these so called doctor's are anti Semitic and take delight in my suffering. If you get these as your attending physicians, DON'T walk....RUN! I have never seen such cruel indifference in physicians and after all I've been through I've been around plenty. I intend to take legal action and file a complaint against them with my insurance carrier. Oh and because of the ridiculous pain I'm in my blood pressure is 180/111, so I guess they would love for me to have a stroke or a heart attack. Hey! What's a dead Jew is no skin off their backs. I've always had great treatment here but since these clowns are running things I'd rather die a slow painful death than come back here.

Worst hospital Ever. They denied me water as I was going to sleep from sedatives. I had to go to sleep sedated with intense thirst as they couldn't be bothered to give me a glass of water.

Had my 1st kid here, I let them know beforehand that I was not getting an epidural. No matter how much it hurt, I stood my ground. They took my husband outside (the room) & told him to convince me to get it cause I was being too loud & scaring other moms. I was IN LABOR for goodness sake! I still refused, then the nurses started telling me that I need to calm down & they started being unpleasant to me. It's not like I was asking for anything. Could've came in every now & then to check me & that's it. I just hate how I kept being pressured to take the epidural after I said no multiple times. Respect the patients wishes!

Bad experience since the doors open. Had my 3rd child this week, first one st this hospital and wouldn't recomend this place to anybody. Just stay away from this "hospital". Really ugly experience.

I been here for 2 days which wasn t necessary, they only kept me because I had insurance they kept forget about me everytime I asked for something. They acted like I wasn t human so to the point I didn t wanna stay here anymore. They came to my room at 10:20 telling me I was getting discharge I m still here till this time nobody came here to discharge me. And they keep telling me another doctor another doctor this hospital is very unprofessional and I recommend nobody to go to this hospital.

Difficult to get to the birthing center after hours. Very long walk from the ER entrance But I had a good experience regardless.

I was pleased to be checked in so quickly, seen by a doctor so quickly and I had my test done quickly. The nurses in the ER department are kind and great at what they do. I can t wait to deliver my baby here next year February.

Nursing staff was terrible! Never checked in unless they were taking vitals. They should not talk politics with patients. Nurses never asked roommate to be quiet!! thought nurses were carring people. Oh I forgot, that was the previous generation, the newer ones seem to be in it for the $$$$!! Suvh a shame. Due to the expierence with the nursing staff I eill Never choose WBMC!!

Onique, a night nurse in post delivery, pushes bottle feeding. She is not knowledgeable about breastfeeding at all and highly unsupportive. She told my daughter the baby's false menses was due to dehydration, and told her she needed to supplement with formula. She puts a lot of pressure on the couple and is mean and pushy.

Amazing staff. Very profesional and knowledgeable. We had our baby at this facility. Everyone was very nice and courteous. I would definitely recommend this hospital to my family and friends.

I have no words to describe this hospital everyone is so rude. My 5 days old baby needed a bilirubin done because he was super yellow. They never call me for results so I had to call them and this super rude nurse the main nurse was the nastiest person I ever met in my life her name is Angelica. She should not be a nurse she should take her nasty and negative actitudes out of that hospital.

West Boca Medical Center might be the worst medical experience I ve ever had. The staff does not seem to know what they are doing, they are not accommodating or friendly in the least bit, all in all a horrible facility.

Doctor Silverman stay away from this man. Blatantly disrespectful to put it at best. The Mrs. was admitted for having chest pains, shortness of breath and high blood pressure. Myself and my two daughters were obviously worried about her and just wanted to know what was wrong and how they were going to make her well. We spoke on the phone a few times in the morning, she asked if there was a waiting room where all of us could just be near one another in this tough time. There was a waiting room, As soon as I get there with the family the doctor walks in the room. His name is Doctor Silverman. He says hello, and let's me know how this hospital is a great place to catch AIDS, gonnorhea, tuberculosis and a few other diseases. First off, I have 2 young girls in the room. One of them which is 10 years old. As a doctor you find it appropriate to speak about STDS and other diseases that could potentially KILL everyone in the room???? My 10 year old burst in tears immediately. Great job Doctor Silverman, making my oldest daughter think her mom can die while she's hooked up to 100 machines. Maybe some wilI congratulate you for being a doctor but I will you applaud you for you ignorance in this situation. I'm not saying your statement wasn't true but you sure could use some work on your approach. He's mad I called him out on it and told him he was an idiot. Well Doctor Silverman if the show fits, wear it. You wear it O so well.

I went to the hospital on sunday cause i slipped and fell in my garage aparently i have fracture my 3 rear ribs on my left side all they did was gave me some pain killers and send me out the way , they never show me the xrays or even call me to see how i was doing i been there before but this time i didnt have a good experience.

This hospital offers the WORST standard of care. If you want to die in a hospital go here. It is filthy and no one wants to help you. They just ignore the patients. It is too much trouble for them to do anything. They suck. Drive east and go to Boca Regional instead.

Negligent Staff, will sell your debt to collections agency and never discuss the bill with you. I will be going directly to he hospital to speak with the CFO since nothing seems to get resolved. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!! They will take advantage of your wallet by misdiagnosing you, resulting in unnecessary testing. I left with no diagnosis and a $13,000 bill. BEG the ambulance to take you elsewhere. This hospital is a joke. Looking forward to the day they get sued or shut down. The reviews speak volumes about this hospital and they are all true. If you don t want to be treated like an animal then go elsewhere.

I was a patient in the emergency room a few months ago. When I received the bill, it did not come with an itemized breakdown. It only had generic descriptions with associated charges. I requested an itemized breakdown of my visit and when it came in the mail, I was SHOCKED. I am being charged for several different medications I did NOT receive. To top it off, the medications I was charged for are also unrelated to the treatment condition I came in for.

Maybe this could be a mistake but it sounds like billing fraud to me. Other items on the statement also changed descriptions from the statement to the itemized breakdown. These items still show no detailed description of what they entail, making such billing practices far from transparent to the patient and possibly done as a strategy to take advantage of the billing charges.

This bill does not even include the additional bill I received from Paragon Contracting Services LLC for services provided at West Boca Medical Center. Conveniently, there is no way to contact Paragon for an itemized breakdown of this bill. The only info I have is from a third party who handles the processing of payments. I m left with West Boca Medical Center to take responsibility and provide a breakdown or contact information where I can speak with someone about these charges as well.

From a staff prospective, the young woman at the front desk was far from professional. She was leaning up on the counter with her back faced to incoming patients. She was busy flirting with the security guard who was also behind the counter. This receptionist was very short with me and when I asked her to help me fill out the forms because of my injury she told me to have someone else in my party fill it out. She was irritated to have to help me which did not make me feel welcome.

Unfortunately, the doctor on staff was also short with me. He walked off before I could even ask him questions at the end of my visit. This doctor was even short with the nurse/aid who was also in the exam room. This made for an uncomfortable visit. I will say the nurse/aid who helped me was very professional and kind. She showed empathy and concern for my situation and made sure I was okay and had all my answers before leaving.

I would like to give this health provider the opportunity to address these issues I am currently experiencing to see if we can fix this. I've tried calling in the past and keep getting pushed off to someone who cannot help, while I am left without a solution.

I have had two great experiences here this year. Back in March I delivered my baby here and my whole visit was great. The nurses and doctors were all wonderful. My second experience was about a week ago, my baby was very ill and ended up he had RSV. We didn t even have to wait in the ER and once in the back, they took such great care of him and all the nurses and the doctor were very nice and explained everything. I m happy to say my baby is just about 100% now and he LOVES that teddy bear they gave him. Would definitely recommend this hospital.

Charged me for 2 days in the ER when I was only there for 3 hours. And billed wrong insurance company - now I have a $5,000 bill instead of a $600 copay. I had a EKG done, a chest xray and some basic lab work done. Total bill? Over $9,000!!!! And they refuse to give me an itemized bill. Go F yourselves.

Usually I don t share my experience and write a review, but today it was a goddess experience With the help of Nurse Lauren at your Birth Pavilion!
I gave Vaginal birth to a baby girl and I was extremely lucky to have Lauren as my nurse during my labor! Literally she was my guardian angel, very professional and caring! I asked like 100 questions before I give birth and she is ready to answer you in such a wise, ethical, caring, loving professional way!
I had my husband and my sister with me inside the room, and Off course I was waiting for my OB Dr Lubetkin whom I love and trust blindly with his amazing expertise.. but the presence of nurse Lauren was from GOD!
I just want to take a moment to thank you Lauren for your help today, I will NEVER EVER forget the way you were explaining and telling me how to breath with every contraction! Knowing that this is my second baby, but you left a special mark ! Thank you

Thank you to the entire staff during my labor who took excellent care of me, you were helpful, and eager to ensure I was comfortable at all times.

Terrible, was told by numerous nurses and staff where I was transferred to for my type 1 thoracic aortic dissection surgery that I should of been there hours earlier, not spending 20 hours bleeding internally because numerous nurses and doctors couldn't diagnose a leaking heart valve with a stethoscope that I was told any competent nurse should be able to do. Finally, a dr. found it before too late.

First experience: Pre-registration for major surgery and pre-op testing. Lovely caring people. I will follow up after stay.

I've had numerous negative experiences with this hospital and have given them many chances. I'll be lodging yet another complaint with AHCA and will call Elder Affairs. I would say, stay away from this awful place. Some nurses of course, are very nice but administration stinks and Tenet Corp. people, no better.

Horrible experience. No food given. Overlooked they say. Some nurses not knowing his issue and can't tell me. Last time we will be here even in life or death issues which it is now. East boca or holy Cross is who everyone should go to.
Your response was so typical. No review needed. This will be the last for this hospital. Hate to have to change doctors of they r only connected to this hospital. Can't tell u how many times my hus band has been here and me once.I had told him I would never go back. I'll work on getting him out of here hopefully alive and never again.

This hospital and team have been treating my dad with so much care and we have called them multiple times and they always provide us with an update whenever we need it. They have been working fast and hard to help our dad. Thank you so much to the staff at West Boca !

From the moment we got into CCU.. The staff and Dr were great. Kudos to Dr Moussignac. Hospitalist. Kiscila.Rn Tara Rn. KateRn KimRn . My husband got the best care I could ever imagine.. Everyone was kind ,professional thorough. patient. Very patient.. If anyone in my family is sick will not hesitate to return to West Boca Medical. Only complaint. Food no so good..

Bunch of losers at this place. Wife went to emergency room and they refused to treat her appropriately and even apologized via letter but still insist on their 200 dollar copay. Like they don't bill the insurance enough money.

Update: after that pathetic response, I believe everyone should boycott this place.

I was a little scare about some negative comments of the hospital service, but from my arrived every one was and are being attentive and polite, especially RN Rasheeda who welcomed me to NY recovery room making me feel as if I was at home.

Horrible place....never again. My surgery on Nov 30, 2018.
Only reason why I didnt give one star is because it it wasn't for nurses Mona & Cheryl, who were wonderful, I'd prob turn into a cardiac patient too cuz my blood pressure would go up sky-high from nerves & aggravation. 1st nurse in pre-op chewing gum & all of. Kept on asking me paperwork questions. Everything was in front of her! . I requested another nurse & was lucky to have Mona & Cheryl. From pre-op I was taken to some kind of weird "holding area" that felt like a closet where cleaning supplies are kept. Then, on the operating table, the coup d'gra...tied wrists down BEFORE I was put under! Who does that? What hospital in the U.S. does that? I have had many surgeries & this horror & lack of care for the patient is unexcusable...
& then afterwards when I had my blood pressure taken, I asked, "is it ok?" He answered "um, I guess so.."
Never again.. BRRH from now on....

Came into the ER and the man in the front doesn t even acknowledge me. I stood by him for 15min and he said nothing to me. When I asked if there was a little no wait he just struged his shoulders. No response not even a look. This man is so rude. I m in pain here and u can t even look at me. I doubt he knows what I look like. Not to be racist but when I young BLK man walked in he got his full attention. Then man told him that there was a wait but it should be long. I been here 2 hr. My point is he never told me anything. The only words that came out that mans mouth was to sit down. I mean just rude. I m a person and when I come into a hospital I hope to be treated as such. So far the worst. Never coming back here again.

10 hours in ER. Waiting for a room for 5 hours. This is unacceptable. Avoid this place, your life is in danger here. Nurses shrug their shoulders when asked questions. Where is management to take responsibility for this fiasco? When asked for management, nobody knows who is in charge. It is laughable.

I was admitted on Sunday on Mother's Day May 12, 2019 I was assigned to the 2nd floor. The telemetry floor. I have to say that the Nurse's I have are amazing with their CARE & ATTITUDE they are very professional. 1 of the Nurse's name is (Rene) The other one is (Queenie)(Katie) On Wed 5/15 /19 I Got A Nurse her name is (KELLY) Not a very caring & professional person i was in pain i ask her it was time for my pain med she tells me that the Admitting Dr. D/C i said what was i supposed to do for pain I ask her to call the dr. That i needed something. She was not pushing enough so i can get something for pain. I had to ask her to call again finally he gave me Toradol. I asked her to take my sugar another 50 quetions she had a problem with it..She said if it's not orderd she does not have to take it. It was 140 when she took it that's high for me. The (PCT) CAROL Is wonderful & very loving with her patients. I also had Rene as a nurse the first night he was great too. He faught for me to get something for pain so i can be comfortable. Today 5/16/19 I have PCT Isabelle she is wonderful talk about caring Also my new Nurse Today is (Geo). I hope to have a better day then the night i had last night. The Nurse's are supposed to fight for you to feel comfortable not have a miserable night like i did. Kelly the nurse even has problems with the Nurse Leader (Jerome)...Now You Guy's Know It's Not me!! Today 5/16/19 I had a great nurse this morning by the name of Geo. Very attentive & Professional also got my medication back that had been taking away from me. My night nurse Stephanie was great gave me a sheet with the time and hours i was getting my medication that was great. Kept me informed. Also my night nurse leader was Jerome she was great she came in to my room sat down and explain everything that eas going on with me. I really appreciated that. I have no complaints on this day

I M CURRENTLY 21 WEEKS EXPECTING & I FELLED TODAY & HAD TO GO TO WEST BOCA WHERE MY DAUGHTER WILL BE DELIVERED IN OCT & I MUST SAY I WAS NERVOUS, BUT MS.JANEENA WAS AWESOME & LEFT ME WITH ONE OF THE BEST IMPRESSIONS EVER! SHE MADE ME FEEL COMFORTABLE FROM THE TIME I CAME IN FROM THE TIME I WAS DISCHARGED! ME & MY COWORKER EVEN WENT LOOKING FOR HER AFTER I WAS DISCHARGED SO I COULD GIVE HER A GREAT BIG HUG! I TRULY APPRECIATED EVERYTHING SHE DID FOR ME TODAY, & FOR HER GRATITUDE, PATIENCE & COMPASSION, I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER EVEN 30+ YEARS FROM NOW! MS. I recently visited the emergency room and had a great experience! Douglas was my nurse and he was the best! Last time when I was there it took 3 women to
try to get an iv. After the 5th time they got it but Douglas did it in one time. Anytime I needed water
Or hot blankets or even socks he would be right there! Even though this was at 2am he was well awake and attentive! Very good hospital and great nurse! Definitely recommend it to anyone!

I was going to choose the West Boca Medical Center for my new Hospital but after reading all the reviews, I have changed my mind.

Everyone was incredibly kind and reassuring. I wish I could adequately express my thanks and gratitude. I d 100% go there again if an emergency came up. To the E.R staff, y all did an amazing job thank you for making someone who is deathly afraid of hospitals feel a sense of calmness.

As far as the bad reviews, I know to each their own, experiences may vary... I need to say how disgusted I was and actually upset that someone called these hardworking people losers.

Great maternity ward. Most of the nurses there are awesome!

Neil and Andrea from ICU were awesome. Very friendly and compassionate. The room was very small and very hot. Otherwise great care.

The people there were super rude, I was calling to get an update on my mothers surgery because I couldnt go in bc of covid and they were really annoyed just for asking for a basic update. aso took 4 days instead of the 1 day we were told.

My nurses Brittany & subastin were great now the ER doc was horrible. Many times I called for her and they would say she was busy. I came in for a seizure and I waited 3 hrs after all my tests and cat scan results came in just to know if she was going to keep me or not because she was not looking at my chart one of the nurses told me. And when finally a nurse told her that I wanted her I could hear her complain about me asking for her through so many people but yet that was happening because she didn't come back to my room since she introduced herself to me. Now you would think it's because the place was packed but no only 4 beds in use plus mine.

didn't allow me to leave zero stars. I guess they should consider themselves lucky. when doctors and nurses are petrified to be sued and can't perform medicine properly it is very sad. When doctors treat organs and not people it is very sad. when doctors don't collaborate and work together as a team it is very sad. West boca medical center is not where you go to get better.

Stay away. If management had any guts they would contact me to ask why. But I probably will have to contact Medicare Fraud Dept. First to get the answers I want. My numbers in the book.

We have had 2 very negative experiences here. Would highly recommend finding another hospital. We were misled both times regarding payment, and were subsequently dealt huge bills. Service was also sub-standard. Please avoid.

The hospital was not clean and the bathroom in the first room I was given was so filthy I demanded to be moved to another room which was less unclean than the first. My husband complained to the head of housekeeping who came to discuss what had happened and said it was a training opportunity . This person hadn t seen a room or bathroom on any of the floors since the day he started and he was uninformed in a way that showed his own lack of follow-through.
The issues, lack of concern and poor attitude of most of the doctors was overwhelming in a 2-night stay. I will also say that many of the nurses were professional and caring and it was sad to see the circumstances in which they were forced to do their jobs.
Now I am trying to sort through my bill and I have questions that no one can or will answer. I have asked TWICE to receive a DETAILED itemized bill so I can review it and compare it to what actually transpired and that instead I receive a billing statement with no details at all. I will never stay in a Tenet Healthcare facility again.

Went in for what my midwife thought could be amniotic fluid leaking. I was in triage with Sharon who was awesome and her sense of humor lightened the somber mood. I am scheduled to deliver here praying for a good experience as I am going natural drug-free and this is my second. The only down side was the room and bathroom were unclean and the sheets had hair on them.
