It is what it is.... A casino. Fun place, have some older machines which I prefer.

No mini fridge no coffee pot no microwave. Temperature taker guy wasn't randomly taking temp he was being biased. There's no staff, I got lost from the parking lot to my room I wondered around for 30 minutes ,and ended up by the concert hall, no staff anywhere in site. Oh and the phones only call room to room. THERE WAS A DEAD ROACH IN THE TUb,stains on the floor in hall to the room and cigarettes , the manager said sorry and even told me that housekeeping hadn't even been to the room before we got in there. The stain in the hall is vomit there are Chuck's and stuff,she tried to tell me it was from cleaning products. On the ceiling is a toilet leak stain they apperantly know and don't care about.

Gambling was ok. Both of us got sick after eating at the buffet.

They have great rooms, helpful people and great prices. I'll stay here again!!

Not ready much endearing about this place. Can't even say the staff was warm and inviting.

Surprisingly nice little hotel. First time going and it was for a buddy's party. Our room was nice and clean with two queen beds. The casino is good with plenty of different machines and tables for craps, poker, and blackjack security is always around so it feels safe. Great experience overall

Hotel is a little expensive. But environment is great!

This rating is for the hotel and restaurants. Ive been here for 4 days and nights so far. There is no fridge, microwave or coffee maker in the room. So if you are here for an extended stay you will be eating out a lot. Dont bother with the restaurants here though. Its almost as if they go out of their way to take a long time to prepare sub par overpriced sustinance. The tub is huge but has the adhesive grip strips in the bottom making relaxing in the tub an experience with sandpaper. Balancing the hot and cold water in the shower is a 10 minute long precision exorcise. They have hd tvs in the room but they use the coax cables instead so if you are used to quality picture youll have a headache watching it. All in all Ide have rather gotten a motel.

Not the nicest place I've ever stayed but accommodating. Needs to be updated.

The restaraunt we ate at was not very good. The waitress was amazing but the food was less than ideal and we were seated by the dishwasher. There were more employees in the casino than gamblers by far. I wouldn't recommend it but wouldn't tell someone not to go there from my experience.

Very nice people was friendly but couldn't get a drink from nobody

Rooms were cheap, but for good reason. Paint and wallpaper were peeling off in places, curtains had some rips in them, and the shower drain was clogged. Only good thing was that the Wi-Fi was really fast.

The Buffet was terrible for both dinner and breakfast. Army food taste's better than the food served at the Nuggets Buffet.

Rooms are so overpriced, broken down & the machines are tight.... Should be pooping gold by now.

It's ok, but it looks tired, dark and old. Shane (?), the bartender at the dance floor was awesome! Great drink mixer and very nice! The place just needs to be updated. Food was pretty good though

and not like other casinos you have to give up

The staff is friendly and worker's are always cleaning to keep us safe having fun.

The ac in the room did not work and the outlets did not work in the room

Sorry but this place is in need of seriohelp and renovation. The outside is fine but inside ,it's a different story the carpet looks like it hasn't been cleaned or replaced in 5 plus years and the restrooms are downright discusting with holes in the stalls and the smell of urine, they have restroonts in the garden area (the trees are dieing)that are never open and they have a make shift buffet where the workers bring in food made from there house they do the same thing for the Mexican restaurant they don't even utalize the kitchen rather just the space as they bring food in every morning . (Slots) are old and outdated and some are whole sections don't work I also hit 3 sevens once on a dollar machine that did not register a win (Table games) The dealers look angry and miserable and also are very rude and aragant and unprofessionall, they also missed several wins while I was playing and then tried to make up for it by giving me wins when I did not win honestly can't say anything good I haven't stayed in the hotel so I can't comment on the rooms maybe that's a different story place definitely needs to be bought or join they other 3 casinos (in my opinion)

They didn't have the 50.00 dollar tournament that I went for. But the place was cleaner than most casinos. Had a good time.

You don t have many choices in Wendover Nevada so I recommend you visit all casinos there.

This place was amazing when it was the State Line. Really sad now.

The rooms are very nice. The restaurant and staff needs a lot of work. The hot food was cold and the cold food warm. When we asked for fresh bread sticks we got lots of attitude and no help.

We thought we d change it up and stay at a casino this time through. Regretting that decision. Trash in the hall outside our door, toilet clinks side to side, sink wouldn t shut off so heard the trickle all night and then in the morning the shower drain was plugged. Front desk said it would be hours before someone could fix it and wouldn t allow us to use an adjacent room to shower. Manager gave us a measly 20% off our room. Motel 6 has treated us with better service when we ve stayed in Wendover.

Good times and fun to be had here and it's pretty laid back - it has a Starbucks too.

We was there 3 hours and couldn't get a cocktail waitress to bring us a drink. Horrible service.

For the price, it was not worth it. Rooms were a complete dive. First room the curtains were falling down, the balcony door wouldn t open and it was dirty, second room the door to the balcony wouldn t open, the walls were rotted, the whirlpool tub only had half of the jets working, One lamp had a short and the other lamp didn t have a working plug. As much money as they make a complete overhaul could be made but it is completely neglected. Couldn t even get comps for a run down room or even a discount. The buffet was horrible, food was cold and had a very poor selection. Very dated facility and it definitely shows the wear and tear, and obvious neglect and short cuts taken to fix things. Very disappointed and felt ripped off.

First time in wendover!! It was a great experience!!

The room was fine. The dance and bar area was very busy, tons of security which is good.

Just went to Wendover for a weekend getaway, we got a budget hotel room for a resort price, the whole town was sold out, so we had to take what we could get, but there is no fridge or coffee maker in the room and the ice maker was broken, so we had to drink warm beverages and we were forced to get our coffee from the restaurant.

Also, the slots were so tight no one in our party won anything at all and all of our favorite machines had been converted from 25 cents to 1, 5 & 10 dollars.

I'm sure management was happy with our losses, but it will be a long time before we ever go back and only after someone else tells us things are better...

All in all, it was one of the worse trips to Wendover & the Nugget that I've ever had and we've been going there for years...

When we checked in the lady at front desk didnt have a clue what she was doing, and was rude. We stayed in room m127. The headboard to one of the beds has a hole in it from what looks like somebody punched it. The paint is coming of the walls. The TV didnt work. Hole in the chair from cigarettes, the carpet is stained everywhere. The tiles on the ceiling were not in all the way. The toilet running and you have to hold the handle down for the toilet paper to go down. There was hair on the shower wall. And on the hand towels. Not to clean. Night desk person didnt even care to fix the issue. But wanted to send the mantanince man to fix the TV at two in the morning.
Will not be staying there again.

So, it's worn out, handles missing on the drawers, old linens, dirty carpet, no latch on the door, seriously? And the service sucks - both at the restaurant and the front desk.

If you want to be treated like a high roller, but lack the money to actually be one, then stay and play HERE. The Slots Manager, Jesus, or more fondly know as "Chewy", will make your experience perfect, take care of anything you need. Rooms are decent, AVG priced. Restaurants are good.

TERRIBLE service from drink service to dealers. Dealers are often rude and have more than once placed my winnings as a bet for me while my back was turned to tip a waitress/cocktail server. Total BS. You would think they would appreciate a tipper.
Never gamble here again unless it is on sports in the large sports area which is pretty nice.

Plumbing questionable, air conditioning marginal or non functional, door locks may not work. Looks like they laid off all the maintenance/facilities personnel. Never a manager on duty and registration desk is not allowed to make decisions. Shower doors can't be closed and flood floors. No batteries for tv remotes. Hallways/elevators are dirty. Trash around building. Mattresses have trenches. Rooms may not get serviced. Food is always cold, Buffet is terrible.

Invest your money in a tent. You'll enjoy the experience more.

The Nugget has become our favorite place to stay and game in Wendover. I recommend the service, people and experiences that we enjoy to anyone who has the opportunity to visit the Nugget!

This is a very nice, clean hotel, but with ready access to freeway. The front desk staff is professional but wasn't overly friendly. The rooms are nicely appointed and very clean. I like having several different pillows to choose from. The breakfast buffet and cafe is large and the staff it was very hard working and diligent to keep the food supplied. Good stay!

Great staff! Great fun. Only complaint is the vending machine on floor 8. You need more luck to get a drink out of it than winning on a slot machine

Was planning on going for my birthday but Don't dare to register online their web page is not secure.

The pandemic is trying hard to put this place outta business. Had a great dinner with practically nobody else around. Great service.

Got a free room, had a nice weekend. The buffet left something to be desired.

Went for a buddy's bachelor party, had a good time. Drinks flowed freely and there were plenty of tables and slots.

Place has changed for the better, the rooms where basic, and affordable. More money to spend on the slot... Enjoyed myself along with my wife. Will be telling people about the new and improve golden nugget .

The cable was out, the A/C didn t work well. On the fourth floor none of the ice machines were working, none of them on the third or fifth floor worked either. We found one on the second floor that worked. NOT worth $130 per night.

My favorite place in wendover to gamble, and the only casino that won't charge you for a Long Island.

No coffee maker, towels were not clean and the elevator needs some major work sounds like its going to break down and the light in our room sounded like it was going to explode.

, the beds at this hotel are extremely horrible I would never recommend staying here until they get the place remodeled. The casino itself is nice and a good value for gamblers. But stay home if you want to stay the night.

My wife and I enjoy going to the Wendover Nugget for the buffet. Unfortunately there are no buffets open in Wendover except for the breakfast buffet at the Prospector Cafe on Sunday morning.

This casino is less busy than the others which is nice if you prefer a more relaxing experience. They have a lot of new slots which can be fun. The place is pretty run down though. There are a lot of slots out of order that seem to never get fixed. The Cafe used to be amazing but they just changed the menu and got rid of some of their best food. I've been coming here for years and get free jacuzzi suites which was probably the main reason I've been coming here exclusively for so long. However the jacuzzi suites are all non smoking now which was the final straw for me since one of my simple luxories was soaking in the jacuzzi and having a smoke. I know for some that will be a positive and if so feel free to stay here as long as you don't mind that your heater/ac probably won't work.

The buffet was nothing like it use to be. Not much of a selection and worse it was cold. We will be sure to miss it next time. And we had a free buffet coupon.

First of all... Casinos are not my thing. I was here for an boxing event to support a friend and really what else is there to do in Wendover? That being said, for a casino it was decent. Despite the smell of smoke and alcohol the atmosphere was friendly. The staff were nice and the price of food was cheaper than its counter part across the street. The nickel slots are pretty fun if you know when to stop while you're ahead. Like I said... I don't do casinos but I wouldn't hate going back to this one.
PS: Didn't stay the night but the hotel side did smell better than the casino-- at least the hallways.

I like this casino but it's not my favorite one in Wendover. I like the Starbucks and the bar that has the dance floor, but the rest seems a little too old and run down. It's better than the Red Garter though.

It was good to hear they have been bought by the Maverick group. Renovations have started taking place. I'm sure my rating will change on my next visit. The staff is still as great as ever.

I wouldn't give them a star at all. They have the worst customer serivce. There is no communication with there staff. The hotel mamager and the head of sercurity dont ever give you a call back or come meet you, theyll leave you standing there for hours. If you stay there and need help with anything dont expect it because know one knows anything apperently and the two people that can Pete and Buddy they are never avaiable its a joke.

Had the dinner buffet about 20 minutes after it opened. My daughter in law both got sick. I've eaten there before and all was well. I will eat there again just no seafood unless it's a friday.

Outdated, overpriced, hardest bed I've ever slept in.
