Staff was very welcoming. There's a relaxing atmosphere.

Currently undergoing some sort of renovation. Sad looking people inside.

Place was pretty dead. We walked in almost straight to 2 employees that didn t greet or even acknowledge us.

I visited the hotel this summer for the first time. I had a lot of fun. The staff was helpful and we received our drinks pretty fast. The environment was upbeat all night long. I enjoyed it so much I will be back their this weekend for my birthday!

The WORST EVER. No remote, because there was no cable. No AC. Hated every minute of it.

Stopped by the Nugget to check it out. I liked the area with the dance floor. There were a lot of different types of people all having a good time. There are dancers and scantily clad waitresses. Kind of fun and different than the other casinos in the area. Don't know that it would be my first choice of places to stay or gamble but I didn't mind hanging out for some drinks.

This place is not one of the nicest places in Wendover, but it has become a comfortable place to visit! We always get discounted rooms from our players cards. It is less busy than some of the other casinos and they have a Starbucks inside. Their staff is always friendly and they are willing to teach you any of the games. The rooms are alright,which is why I knocked a star off. They are outdated and we have had a problem with our shower one. Sewage was bubbling up from the drain. They were very accommodating though and gave us a full refund on the room. We always stay here and have the best luck at this casino!

I would never stay here again. A complete s___ hole. Can't believe what the charged us. The health department should come in and condemn this place. All the negative reviews are accurate. Nobody in their right mind would stay here.

Under new mngmt. and they have cut just about All incentives that were worth anything so will not visit as often or spend as much.

Well, it was fun at the the Nugget until this little tart decided to ruin my day. Delores was such a peach, she opened up late, she came with a security guard and chatted out front until 2 minutes after the gift shop was to be open. The she turned the lights on, and made me ask her three times if she was open. Each time she was mean, she would blow off with her hand, and acted like her position of control was more important than my business. I took these pictures and told her boss, who seemed uninterested at best. I m sure Delores this won t make you famous, but I hope you can learn a lesson. Not all bad behavior goes unrecognized. you should not be working customer service.

Awesome staff at the tables, and just a great place. The buffet is great for the cost and the cafe is wonderful.

I like going to the Nugget for the guest services are great. Their rooms are affordable and the restaurants have great food for a great price. The customer service is very prompt in fixing any complaint and very friendly! I recommend this place to friends & family all the time.

Since having new owners this casino has become a real Joke . This is Wendover not Vegas .
They give nothing to their customers, no incentive to even go into the gloomy place no appreciation and they have list so many of us spending our money there . None of us pay a dime for a room or food and receive free play benefits for choosing where to play .

Shabby, old school. But maybe that's part of the appeal? Wallpaper falling off, black ink spills in our carpet. Looked like an exorcism took place.

I went in to play the tables and slots, but there wasn't a cocktail in sight. We left after only playing a few games. I feel if they had better customer service that they will have more guests.

Got here at 4 pm. The players booth had a sign closed until 7 AM sorry for the inconvenience . The machines where you cash in tickets were out of order , The machine I liked wouldn t take a ticket- only cash. When I went to cashier cage they questioned my tickets. Finally, when I went to leave the person at cashier cage ignored me over 5 minutes. When he finally came over to cash my 605.00 ticket I told him I was writing a review. He started yelling at me and said I was going to get him fired. That was not my goal/ just an acknowledgment that I was there and that he d be with me shortly would have sufficed. I won t be going back and wouldn t refer any of my friends or family to this place.

Went to the Nugget Steakhouse expecting better than buffet food. First the steak house was difficult to find, and asking directions from a security employee in the casino resulted in a blank stare, shrug, and "no speak English". Gruff greeting, miserable staff at the steakhouse, ignored our comments of "really dark in here" and led us to a dark corner. We had to ask to be seated outside. The server removed the plates set at our table, because the weren't clean. We still ate with bent forks. Other than the server, we just got grunts and gestures from the other wait staff (probably "no English" either). Mediocre food for the price. It was most unpleasant, but the worst was still to come. Six hours later, and for the rest of the night and next day, my wife and I went through the motions of ridding whatever it was we ate, from our bodies.
We decided to let The Nugget know about this. Trying to talk to ANYONE intelligent on the phone is impossible. 3 calls, and 90 minutes on the phone - hold music, repeated ringing, and a frustrated receptionist. First call I had asked to speak to the Food and Beverage Manager. I was eventually put through to the kitchen - Anna, who could hardly speak English, and couldn't help me. Second call, I asked for the Hotel General Manager, and ended up with a worker in the casino pit, who said his boss was on break, and I'd have to call back because he didn't know how to transfer the call back to the operator. Third call, after hold music and ringing for 23 minutes, I asked to speak to the Marketing Director, and was connected to her voicemail. I left a message with name and phone number. No return call, a day later. Probably another black hole! I guess they don't care!
Well maybe they'll wake up if enough of their dissatisfied, one-time customers, do chargebacks, and their credit card processor refuses to do business with them.

Had a blast on the craps table. They explained the game pretty well.

SO RUDE!!!! I will make sure and tell everyone I run into the same exact thing!!! Staff at the cashier is extremely rude!! We were gambling at the Montego and decided to walk over to the Nugget! We had $521.22 in vouchers!!! That we got from the Montego!!! My fiance thought that the Nugget was one that was connected with Montego and Rainbow! (But it wasn't) We went up the the Nugget cashier and gave them our Montego vouchers! The cashier then gave us the $521.22 in cash not realizing they weren't Nugget vouchers! She realized they weren't within minutes and says I need all the money back now!!!! Which was fine!! We gave her the money back and she gave us vouchers!!! Now this is partly my fault! We should have counted! But instead I folded them all and stuck them in my pocket!!! When we walked back to the Montego, we cashed them in and there was only $411.22!!! We went back right away to the Nugget cashier to see if maybe she forgot to give us one!!! I could have dropped it! I get that too!! But as soon as I started asking about it both ladies instant;y got defensive and were saying I watched her give them to you, you had to drop them!! Just being flat out rude!!! That is when I said to pull up the camera!!! I just want to see that all the tickets were given to me!! That's it!!! We waited around for a half an hour and nothing happened!!! W finally got frustrated and just left!!! When I tried calling then next day to talk to someone about my issue, they weren't helpful one bit! I called multiple times! They said they would get back to me and never did!! The last phone call I had was with Pablo in the cage!!! Apparently he's the manager!! Not helpful one bit!!! I just feel people should be little more considerate when dealing with other peoples money!!! Rant over! hah

Are you kidding me? I know for a fact that not a lot of people choose to stay here, but seriously!? We decide to stay here and have fun in the sun, and no where on their site does it say there is a pool party today. We get here and the pool is so lame! It's like a bunch of old people that can't stand the music, but on top of that they made it 21 and older so there is no one even at the party. If my kids could go in, I would have deffintly bought a few drinks and tipped the staff, but they won't let us in! They would rather waist their money on the 6 people that are there, not buying drinks btw, then let family's in to enjoy all the festivities and pay to be here.

The people in the hotel were helpful. It was exactly what I expected. A good price and a pretty good room. The only down side was that the sink drain was jammed closed. Not a big deal when you're there one night.

I like that they give free play alot but the rooms I've stayed in are not great

Pretty sad from what this place used to be. It's so run down and unkept it's sad. It used to be the place in Wendover to go. It smells, paints chipping off walls, weeds every where, it's just sad. You can tell whoever runs it just doesn't care

I have stayed here several times before with no problems but i stayed last Wednesday night and was very upset, I don't think I will be back ever again. All of the elevators to the room had a horrible smell of piss i could barely handle being in them for a few seconds. We got a Jacuzzi room with a balcony looking into the atrium which was nice but while I was sitting on my bed I got several bites on my hands and feet, I did a google search and found out they were fleas. I told the employee at the desk and she didn't seemed a bit surprised and said ill send a house keeper up to the room." NOT IMPRESSED! The room NEEDS to be fumigated before you rent it out to anyone else! Beware of room number 229 in the Main Hotel! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

Usually eat at the Golden Harvest Cafe when I'm in Wendover. Typically quiet and staff takes care of everything we need.

Okay since we got a comp room but I wouldn't pay for the room we stayed in.

We have been there several times and have never had a problem. Very nice people

I went to the Nugget to play blackjack. The dealers are fun to play with but are not as good at dealing as other casinos have. Drink service is good and fast.

The band was great. Helped us celebrate my boyfriend birthday

I would not even give this place 1 star if that were an option. We stayed there for one night on July 12th 2018. When we arrived late and tired the reservations employee was not welcoming at all. She did not even respond to any queues to get her to warm up-cold as ice.
Unfortunately my story doesn t end here.

My daughter left her glasses on the night stand in room number 306 possibly 305- we had two rooms. We called the next day as soon as we realized her glasses were left behind. They acknowledge they had them and told us to send a box that included return postage. So we did and we included an eye glass case and instructions to prep the box to assure it gets back to us. We were able to track through UPS the box was received and we kept checking for a week and they never returned it.

Since then we have gotten nothing but the run around from them, the mangers not here, the manger will be in after two, yes we will make sure the box is with the glasses is sent out today. We have been placed on hold for at least thirty to forty five minutes every time we have called. To date we have not received the glasses.

DO NOT STAY HERE if you want any kind of customer service because you will not get it. The management needs to read the book, If Disney ran your business .

PS The rooms were gross with odor like cigarettes even though we were in a none smoking room.

Service was great, parking was easy, and i won a bit on a quick walkby play on the slots! Overall it was a great break in the week.

The room was sub par for the cost. The elevator was broken for over a day. The pool was closed the first day and opened late the second. The cocktail waitress the second day had major attitude and wouldn't serve a Coke because we were playing nickle slots. Overall I wouldn't stay here again.

Dinner was mediocre. I had a steak with mashed potatoes. Fake gravy fake potatoes, real steak. Tables were fine. It is wendover.

First time ever going to Wendover and decided to stay here. The price of the room was ridiculously cheap ($35 for one night.) The room wasn't the best but I didn't get a suite plus the place is older. Got a standard double queen in non-smoking, everything was decent. People at the front desk were very helpful and accommodating and got is extra of everything we asked for. Had the buffet for dinner and was pleasantly surprised at the food and the service. The casino was fun too.

The slots were tight, the casino was hot and stuffy and the light are really dim. Not my favorite place in Wendover anymore.

We ate at the buffet this evening and let me tell you, the Prime Rib was way over cooked, the steak was full of tendons. There a very poor selection of food everything was poor tasting. The desserts were very poor cheesecake tasted like cinnamon, the icecream machine was inoperable also waited 20 minutes for a eclair. Asked 3 different people for assistance and still took 20 minutes. Charged us $50.00 for the absolutely the worst meal we have ever ate.... will never eat there again and I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT AS WELL!!!!

When we arrived we called and asked for extra towels and wash rags. After two more calls, we went to dinner. We had sat around waiting for almost a hour.
We had the buffet. Wife had to take her steak back twice before got one cooked the way she asked.
Casino staff was great.
Upon returning to the room we again called 3 times for towels and wash rags. Finally got towels, no wash rags 50 minutes later.
Also found one electrical plug that didn't work, a ripped bed spread, hole in the wall and the lining of one the chairs hanging down

The staff is amazing, good food. But, the room was super cold the heater didn t work and cold air was coming through the big window. Not updated, but it s okay if your there for just for gambling and not staying the night.The room was not worth the price!

Customer service is non existent. They require a credit card to make a reservation yet if you pay cash they still charge your card and the only way you can dispute it is speaking to a manager who 1.never answers the phone and 2. never replies to voice messages.

Nice rooms. Comfy beds. Fast checking in. Staff was friendly. Casino good. Needs more quick eat places.

Waited 30 minutes for a cart to get our things to our room and still did not get one and had to carry all our bags ourselves. The staff seemed not to care at all. When we got to our room it was extremely hot and the AC would not work. We called the front desk and they sent maintenance. The maintenance workers were fantastic but unable to fix the issue. They let the front desk know and we received a call about it only offering a downgraded room clear across the hotel with no carts available, still.... we ended up staying in the hot room. It probably would have been worth hauling all our things again. The room didnt have a fridge or microwave either. While there we did go to the Casino floor and Dance area. There were some individuals harassing a few girls and I'd like to commend the security guard, Jeffrey for his quick attention to the situation.

It's okay, nothing like Vegas but its kinda fun to visit for a few hours. Not really worth staying if you have a ride. This casino isn't really the best one in Wendover but if you're just casino hopping or there for the day you might as well drop by because there's not really a whole lot to do there in Wendover. Rooms were kinda old and small and had stains on the floor but if you've had a few drinks you wont mind.

My husband and I like going here for a quick getaway. The last time, the casino smelled of fresh vomit the whole time.
