Today March 16 2018! Approximately went for dinner at my wife s birthday with 2 children and five adult. After we said down for couple of minute the waiters came by stand at a distance and throw a menu on the table very disrespectful without saying a single word and loudly any drink. We are disgusted with her poor customer service let us pushed us with out having a dinner we are excited for. If you are people of color I warn you going this place.

This is a suburban dive bar. The food is surprisingly good. There are pull tabs, cheap drinks, and plenty of seating. Reasonable prices and large portion sizes. Parking lot can get busy sometimes. Check their website for more info on events like bingo. Be very specific with your server/bartender. We had two out of four of our drink orders made incorrectly. Server was unapologetic about it nor offered to correct it. Bartender failed to cut off several roudy and clearly intoxicated patrons, one of which was threatening to start a fight. I also overhead this person saying he already had 14 drinks and he was slurring his speech.

The food is incredible. For a small older place, the food was great. Fish, soups, huge entrees, great service. Nice experience.

Didnt even give me the pizza fries i paid for.. just gave me a box with marinara sauce.

The food is EXCELLENT. Had the broasted chicken with mashed potatoes. Highly recommend as the value is great as well. Very much enjoyed the food, drink, and comedy show!

Poor, poor quality food. Steak quality, salad quality thru dessert. smh...

Ordered first time was awesome. Ribeye was on point and sp was the pizza. It was on a Saturday night. Ordered on a weekday and it's completely different. Ribeye was cooked like a sirloin steak. Didn't even include steak sauce. Pizza dough was salty. Disappointed. Probably a different chef was my guess.

Smoked chicken wings really good. They had burger baskets and were very pleased. I had the king cut prime rib. Perfectly cooked!

Can't say I enjoy this place. Seems like the original had been added on a few times. Took forever to replace the broken glass on the door. Lots of regulars from the trailer park. Never my first choice but will come here if/when others want to.

Difficult to find due to the way GPS maps it out. Older place. Good people to mingle with

Service started out great. But went downhill. Only waitress in the place. We had a table of 6. She couldn't keep up. Helped everyone else but us. Couldn't even keep up with the coffee which was $2.50 a cup. She said never ending. But only got 1 cup each. And the last was cold & had grounds in it! Husband went out to start car as he was afraid he would blow his top!Prices were very high. And Groupon coupon, what a joke. Food was good. But once again we will NOT go back. This happened to us 5 years ago thought we would give it a try. Very disappointing! Go somewhere else where service is good & food not so expensive!

A great place. Amazing selection from the homemade soup to the broasted chicken. We will be back often.

I was there for a party... food was fine and the company was good, but the service was pretty slow.

I forgot how damn good the food is here. Just got my grubhub order. It was FAST and DELICIOUS. My waffle fries were some of the crispiest fries I ve ever had... and from delivery. How is that even possible?! Grilled chicken on the Cobb salad was seasoned to perfection. Thanks for the awesome lunch!

It's a little rough around the edges but the food was great and the beer selection was better than expected.

It's a total dive bar but cheap. Food is mediocre and drinks are inexpensive.

Next time I will definitely post photos of the place and food. Service was great, chicken and rib meal was fantastic. $$

(4/26) Was seated and proceeded to wait over 5 mins before waitress came back to take my beverage order, she ran away before I could tell her my food order as I had that all picked out already. I waited 10 mins before she came with my beer. I gave her my order of a California burger with onion rings and proceeded to wait, 40 mins later and still no food and waitress had come by exactly once the entire time. I put some money on the table for the beer and left, I was sooo mad. If anything I am being conservative with my time estimations, this was the first time I've walked out of a place as I am normally too patient but my experience was sooo incredibly poor I can only say go somewhere else.

Best local color you can find !! Friendly atmosphere great food variety of beer always have a good time

With the big pig out front and all the pig representation inside, I'm surprised how few pig items are on the menu. Was expecting more pork options. But food was still good and comfortable atmosphere.

Food was great as always. My sis and I have continued to come here since we were old enough to work here. Hint I will always miss the sourdough loaves from years ago.

We ordered the Crab Leg special and I have to say wow! They were enormous and cooked to perfection. Amazing!

Great food! Good place to hang out and play etabs and pull tabs.

So foolishly, I left my camera bag with all my equipment and footage in it on the bar stool next to me a few weeks ago. The bartender not only kept it safe for my return but strictly refused a tip. Considering this and the fact the beer is cold and delicious I just simply can't recommend this place more highly

Lots of day drunks in there. Prices were comparative to other establishments. I thought there should have been happy hour price on draft beer, there wasn't. It is truly a big 10 sports bar focusing on a course in Minnesota Golden Gophers. Nice TV easy to see. They sold pull tabs and other gambling items inside

I love welsch's Big Ten Tavern. Situated right on Highway 10 in Arden Hills it's the last of the real Roadhouse's in the metropolitan area that feature BBQ and Live music.

Just came in, asked if they had a waitress to serve the patio. Bartender said yes, so we went and sat on the patio for 15 minutes. No one came out. We left. Will not return there again. I guess unless you're a regular, they don't want you!

They have really funny comedians downstairs on weekends.

Steak bites were a touch undercooked but when asked for some added flame, they came back with an almost melt-
-your-mouth texture

Great food, friendly people and good value.
Not fancy, but fun place. You'll want to return for the food and party atmosphere. Day time good for kids. Adult crowd late. Great specials here. I love the $2 tacos chicken, beef, steak or pork on Tuesday. Are you kidding! Nope not kidding. .. come see you'll love it. Monday burgers are half price and Wednesday pizza. Friday all you can eat fish!

Bartender was awesome. Love the small town atmosphere.

We had a party of 5 and everyone was very happy with their food I will be coming back Monday 1/2 priced burgers and they are hand made. 2 thumbs up.

Driven by many times but thought of it as a bar. Tonight we ordered delivery from here and had no idea they had broasted chicken and it was really good. Really crispy and juicy. We also had the cheese bread which was good.
Will be back again for the broasted chicken.

Pretty cool old bar. Very Minnesotan. At first I thought this might be an intimidating locals only type place but when I stopped in with a co-worker it definitely did not feel that way.

We went for the all you can eat fish on Friday. The fish was fantastic and very tasty! The staff was very friendly and nice. We will definitely be going back for Fish Friday!

Road construction very so so food priced on the high side

We went for dinner , I had pork ribs and broasted chicken they were very good and large servings. It is a large restaurant bar. The service was very good our server was very good. Menu looks good also.

Fast service, good food served hot. Chicken is a bit pricey. Nice people working there.

Okay for a dive bar. They have good bar games. But the drinks are way too much. $3.50 for 8oz rails for happy hour? Domestic taps only for happy hour yuck. 3-5 10-12 happy hour time, hard to even make it. It was way better when it was 2 for 1s and all the taps where available. Bartenders seem to hate you unless your tipping up front.

This place is amazing and roomy, the meals was enchanting and the rates were very inexpensive. quick, efficient service and very amiable waiters. I recommend this place.

You know the kitschy restaurants that have waiters that are jerks as part of their schtick, well that s how these waitresses act at this joint. The first time we went we figured the waitress must be having a terrible day but it happened again tonight. She was extremely rude to the point where our kids were asking what was the matter with her. Then she had a verbal fight with another waitress over who gets the next table while still AT our table and called the other waitress a B-word under her breath while still in distance of my children s ears. Will NEVER be back!

Great food, fantastic "cozy atmosphere" comedy club, mediocre staff. We will be going back for the food AND the comedy! Great time!

Worst service ever. Bartender literally took two personal calls behind the bar and left for extended periods of time.

Great BLT! Tomato tasted like it was from the garden. It was lightly grilled on Sourdough and slightly crisp.

Small town local bar. Has a bit of a cafe/diner feel inside. Parking lot needs some work. Didn't try the food so can't comment on that.

Bad service the waitress walk away before she took my order and couldn't find us and but we were the ones hiding twice they said that. We played a game of hide and seek with out knowing it

I think JOHN was having a bad night but it let it effect his bartending. 25 years maybe it's time to go else where. Bad for business. Other than that great place

First time here tonight, our waitress Amanda was great! Broasted chicken was classic greatness, garlic mashed potatoes were clearly homemade and excellent! Fries had a crispy seasoned coating that was tasty, and the fried egg on the BLT was a great touch i hadn t experienced before. And the beer was ice cold. We will be back!

EXCELLENT food great service, and family friendly. NB family from out of town loved this place

Work for doordash and these guys gave me a little note with some snacks in the bag. Made my day! Keep doing what your doing, I ll be back to try the food for sure

People are wonderful the ribs leave something to be desired

Caught the comedy stylings of Gordy "Spike" Rutman at Bob's Comedy Bunker, which is located in the basement at Welsch's Big Ten Tavern. It's a cozy little venue, way different from many of the other comedy clubs in the metro area. The warm-up acts were of mixed quality, but Gordy's act was killer. Give this place a shot. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Delivery Order: I've had their broasted chicken and it's great! Today we had the Walleye Sandwich which was dry, no mayo, no tartar. Just bread, fish and some lettuce. Horrible.
We tried the French Onion soup which was so salty, it was unedible. My wife (who salts her ketchup!) said its was awful and over salted. We threw it in the garbage.
I had the Original burger that was cooked well, but didn't have BBQ sauce like the menu says. So it was dry. I also upgraded to the tots for $2, but was given chips.
They literally screwed up every item we ordered.

Fun place to go on Wednesdays for an open jam. Food was good too

Great food, bit loud but its a bar and grill sort of place so thats expect3d. They also do meat raffles some times

Long standing establishment , went for Friday AYCE Fish Fry.
Very good food , average service, not very attentive. Good prices for food.

Great breakfast. They are willing to go off menu for breakfast. Asking for Prime rib and eggs next time.

Food was ok.
Bloody Mary could have been tomato soup.
Server was slightly attentive but far from friendly or personable.
