I loved the golf course. Tons of character. Not overly long but there are a number of long carries over water.
The greens are big and fast. The course is very well cared-for.
It is on the expensive side. (Super-Twilight rate $48.50 plus tax). And I hate when courses don t allow you to take a cart out to the parking lot.

I can wait to play this course again and especially putt on their amazing greens. Very well maintained facility. Full driving range and putting green. Has great character design of the course. My favorite is the boat ride across the water! Very friendly staff.

Early morning round after a lot of rain. They had the course is great condition. Scenic with challenging shots and lots of drives that have to carry water. Obviously the ferry ride was awesome. Definitely worth the trip to Shakopee.

Great public course. The grounds were very well taken care of. Every person working there (that I had an encounter with) was extremely nice - much more so than most public courses. If I am ever back in the area, I will definitely make a pit stop at this course for another great 18 holes. Thanks guys!

Great place to play golf. Went to go check it out as a potential wedding venue, came all the way from Saint Paul to check it out, made an appointment with confirmation email and everything. We show you, "there is no appointment?" the coordinator that we had been talking to was there (Deb) didn't even come to give us a tour or even talk to us, sent some intern to basically tell us that the great and powerful Oz could absolutely not see us without an appointment that we had to begin with. Way to miss out on a 300 person wedding. Terrible business, hope another person sees this and rethinks their plans too.

My wife and I were married here over 10 years ago, and we had the great opportunity to return for a family wedding recently. It was just how we remembered it. The restaurant is a great place for a reception. Its two-level dining area makes it easy to see the head table and the ambiance is wonderful.

Love love love this course. A golfer gets to use every club in their bag. The ride across the lake on the par 4 is a unique experience. I will be back in future !! This is definitely a top ten course in the twin cities.

The senior rate has climbed the past couple years to the point of where we used to play Stonebrook at least twice a week to only once this year. There are so many other courses around with more reasonable rates. If I want to play a quick nine, I'll play Waters Edge, although that course is not maintained very well. The trees are all overgrown and choke off the fairways, more time should be put into the upkeep.

Horrible staff, course is below average. They act like they are running some top level course there. Rangers need to relax, you see them literally every hole. Ruins the experience. Feels like they follow you around to see if you are breaking any of their rules. Would only play there again if I got a free round. Not even close to worth the money.

I have had a players card for the past 2 years. Since day one it has had horrible customer service. Th ed y over charge on everything there. Feels like the rangers are always following you. The range has been in horrible shape since i started playing here in 2014. They have made little effort to improve it. They treat there loyal customers very badly. I know that i will not be getting another player card next year. I had to get a refund this year because the way they treated me. All in all there is a lot of better courses around the area that are much more worth it than stonebrooke.

Round took 5.25 hours. Course is nice, staff is greedy. They admitted to allowing members to play again and messed up the whole flow. Save your money and go to Troy Brune or someone else nearby

I love golfing at Stonebrooke Golf Club. They have been extraordinary in helping me get tee times when we need them. They are very good about listen to suggestions we have and taking them into consideration. The whole place runs so well we are very happy when we are here.

This is the nicest public course I've golfed since moving down to the cities two years ago. Great value with the $44 twilight deal after 2pm, as long as you set your tee time up online and get the free cart.

Worst golf course around customer service sucks there website is terrible and they always either have leagues or they just hang up on you when you try to book a tee time... zero stars available

The course is nice but the staff and their treatment of everyday golfers is horrible!

Myself and three buddies played a round for my bachelor party and the day of was ok. We finished our round of 18 in under 4 hours so we were given two complimentary rounds of golf tickets (to be used Monday thru Thursday).

Fast forward a month later, I called the pro shop and asked them if I could possibly use them on a Friday, which I knew wasn t typically allowed. I figured I would ask since it was late in the season and it was the last chance I would have to play this year. The guy on the phone (who never gave me his name) assured me it would be ok to use them, even though it was a Friday. Well, when we arrived Friday morning (7:50 am with three cars in the lot) we were treated very rudely by the man behind the desk.

I explained the situation, what I was told two days earlier by THEIR employee. This guy tells us that we cannot use them and that we and him would get into trouble. I asked why WE would be in trouble? I also asked why one person said one thing and now I m being told another. He said there are no notes saying it s ok which I said wasn t my problem. But I also found it interesting that he mentioned notes since two minutes earlier he said it wasn t allowed. Why then would there be notes?

All in all , I ended up tossing the cards at him and told him tom throw them away. He then asked well cant you play on a Thursday? I laughed at him and walked out. If I could do you think I would have called to get approval for a Friday? This guy was a total jerk and really thought his poop smelt like roses. I will not go back for a long time, which might not mean much to them, but my three friends will not either.

Save yourself the 65$ and play a course where they respect their patrons.

Excellent challenging local course with a friendly professional staff, and a good menu. The course pro stopped by while we were golfing with useful tips and course information. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite golf courses in the Twin Cities metro area. Always in great shape and fun layout with wide variety of holes. Food in the restaurant is amazing. Also a great place to host events. The Waters Edge driving range & 9 hole course across the street is also a great place to practice and get in a quick round.

First time playing Stonebrooke last week. It was awesome. The course is in amazing shape and every hole is different. Can challenge both beginners and more experienced players. Even cooler you get to ride a ferry crossing a lake on one of the holes! Highly recommend.

If i could give this place no stars I would. I'll admit its beautiful for a wedding but it is not worth all the frustrations you'll encounter. Their "coordinator" if you can even call her that is never around, you have to ask everything yourself and pester her with emails to get anything done. Their communication is the worst, they blocked the lockers for our belongings, they screwed up my food, they pre-opened wine that wasn't used, they had trash in their fountain, they had broken chairs on the patio, their staff ate my cake without asking, their security guard was over the top and ended up walking in on my 5 year old daughter using the restroom, they said we could open doors to the patio and then denied it, did not turn on outside lighting. They refused to work with me on what I paid for after they were such a let down. STAY AWAY IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A WEDDING VENUE! Seriously 10K down the drain on this place. Super frustrating.

Great course! The staff is very friendly and courteous. The course is in great shape. The greens are fast but, they roll true, I can tell the grounds crew knows what they are doing! The beverage cart was around every three holes or so for those of us who like to indulge a bit. Will play there again soon!

It was the first round of the year. Course was in pretty good shape being that it s sooo early in the season. Golf carts were available which not a lot of courses offer yet. Looking forward to going back when the weather is warmer.

Too many slow golfers allowed to slow the pace of play. Grand parents with grand children and old women who rarely play the game are allowed to meander the course. Don't know the "play through" decorum. Rangers do nothing. Retirees who spend longer than 5 minutes looking for wayward balls also never waved us through. Been there 3 times in 2016, doubt I will play the course in 2017. The Rangers and starters need to remind groups of golf etiquette. If you are a mid to low handicapper, find somewhere else to play.

I have played well over 100 courses in Maryland, Virginia and Florida; and, there's no question Stonebrooke ranks among the very best! The layout is very diverse, and the course is always in pristine condition! The staff members are extremely helpful; and Einar Odland, the General Manager, is a terrific ambassador for the course. Stonebrooke is truly one of my most favorite courses! I strongly suggest you play the course as soon as possible!

Played for the 1st time this spring because of the PCC program and WOW. Wish I would have found this place sooner. Fun course, super friendly staff and stayed for seafood buffet on a Friday evening which was also 5 star. Raving fan of this place

I had a great first impression of Stonebrooke Golf Club. The tee areas and fairways are in great condition as well as the Greens in general. We were very impressed with the overall service of the course and the pro shop. Thank you for a great golfing experience.

Beautiful course! challenging, yet tamable. My overall scoring of "excellent" says it all. Not only is the staff accommodating to the players, but they have such great, personable attitudes.

Golf course is absolutely beautiful! Although it is a bit of a drive, I will be coming back. By far the coolest course! Never have I seen a course where you hit over a portion of a lake and then get on a pontoon to go continue the hole! In addition to this the employees are by far the nicest people you will ever into! Highly recommend this place and can t say enough about how good this place is! You d be wrong to miss out on a place like this

Very unique course. Definitely a course you need to play at least once if you live in the twin cities area. Beautiful layout and challenging holes. Driving over a lake is always fun, haha. Nice and professional staff. PCC friendly.

For being a public course, the greens could be considered some of the best in the area! The staff do a great job with booking the teetimes and it helps with our larger group when we come in. Thank you for the great service!

Stonebrooke is one of my favorite courses in the Twin Cities. The water holes on 7 and 8 are two of the most scenic you'll find anywhere. Just a fun mix of holes all around with a couple driveable par 4s, some interesting par 5s and good use of the terrain. Love the waterfall by the putting green. Also, they have a great Father's Day brunch. Go play here!

I have golfed at Stonebrooke for the past 10-12 years. I enjoy the competent staff, well kept/groomed golf course, their policy of completing rounds in 4 hrs, and most of all their excellent food in the restaurant. (note: I chose to have my Father's Day dinner at Stonebrooke's outdoor eating with its beautiful course in the background.) I play at least 35 rounds a season and never get tired of playing each hole. My fellow golfers and I call it our "club".

This is a wonderful course and it is in excellent condition. Sr rates are available and that is very beneficial. Recently I took my wife to dinner there where we dined near the 10 hole Tee box and thoroughly enjoyed the
food ,service and ambiance.
I hope continue golfing here 2 times per week ,
John

Great course with nice elevation changes and beautiful views on every hole.
I play this course about once a year. Staff is always friendly and make you feel they really appreciate your business. After a tough winter course is in good shape, just a few bad fairway spots in the low lying areas.

I played Stonebrooke golf course on Thursday, August 8 and the course was in excellent shape. I was also impressed with how the staff went out of their way to make sure my group had a positive experience at the course. I will definitely be back!

Oh My, Stonebrooke is a hidden jewel right in my backyard. They have an incredible menu and Happy Hour every day. They also have a Sunday Brunch for $10.95 per person that is one of the best Brunch's I've ever had. It's worth $25 or more per person. I Highly recommend Stonebrooke Golf Club's restaurant. It's a great place to take your family for a Holiday night out. Cheers!

This place is a delight! I have never played golf here, but have eaten here many times. I joined a bean bag there last winter, and boy was it fun! The bartenders always remembered us and our drinks and were so nice! The people we met through that were great and they were very well organized. The food was pretty great as well! They patio is beautiful and a fun spot to have lunch when the weather is nice!

Stonebrooke is an incredible course in the South Metro. Thankful for the PCC having such quality courses that provide a country club type experience. First time I played there we were treated incredibly and stayed for the amazing All You Can Eat Seafood Buffett with the guys. It was so good had to take the family back for the Buffett. Can t wait to go back and play this course again. This a great example of how being part of PCC is exposing me to fantastic golf courses in Minnesota. Looking forward to my return to play Stonebrooke, this is a course you don t want to miss!!!

Played Stonebrooke with a few buddies today and absolutely loved the experience. The course was in impeccable shape and, although my score was LARGE, there wasn t a moment where I didn t have fun. The starter was so friendly and kind and the patio after was such a nice space to enjoy a cocktail. It s not a cheap course but you definitely get what you pay for here. I can t wait to come back (and take back thirty or so strokes).

The course was really great and allowed for players to approach holes a number of different ways. The only thing that was really ridiculous was the Pin placement on the 18th hole on 8/31/19. It was honestly ridiculous and that should be noted. This isn't the US Open so don't put the pin where if you're short going uphill it runs all the way back to you or if you miss downhill with the slightest nudge of the ball it runs 10 feet past. Otherwise everything else was fantastic!

Poor covid19 practices.
Beautiful place, great food and lovely people! However, our server was wearing a mask, under her nose, off and on. When she was wearing the mask, she would touch it and mess with it right under her nose. The woman who brought is our food, very nice lady, was not wearing a mask and spoke closely to us over our food. I felt uncomfortable and at risk of being exposed.
The server also messed up twice in our order.

Maybe it was the time, right around the Ryder Cup, but the course was in very rough shape. Greens were in rough shape due to all the traffic on them. Course maintenance should have been out there rolling the greens or doing something.
The course is certainly unique, almost on the "strange" side. Some holes you wonder where the fairway is because you can't see it for the bulrushes in the swamp in front of the tee box.
The boat ride with your golf cart was very unique!
All in all, it was ok but nothing outstanding.

I just want to extend the biggest thank you to Stonebrooke! Our wedding was the most perfect day ever! Your staff was amazing, the venue was GORGEOUS and we had the best time! Deb was so helpful and answered all my questions so quickly- she is a rockstar! Thank you Stonebrooke!

Great course. The fairways make approach shots fun and difficult at the same time. Greens are tough to read but if you can manage speed, you will get out in one or two putts. The ferry ride makes it all the better of a course. Nothing like teeing off over a huge lake with a bunker just calling your name.
I will be back to play this course.

First of all the course was in great shape most of the season, thanks so much to all the staff at Stonebrooke for all their hard work to make the course what it is. It is the best course I have seen in a very long time.

as a DJ who has performed there many times, I give a 5-star rating for all aspects I like to compare, such as a clean bathroom, interesting decor, plenty of space for the DJ set up, unlimited free parking, no need for an elevator, electrical outlets that hold the plugs properly, but most cool is a waterfall outside the door
