Spa massage was nothing special. Overpriced. I'm actually having a neck muscle ache after yesterday's massage from here.
The poor-minded (probably actually poor) valet man was laughing at me for asking another more affordable parking place than the street valet place that didn't even look secure. He may have no idea how chore work he is doing while laughing at the hotel's customer.

What a delightful place to stay and enjoy the convenient location next to the Robson street shopping district. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating to my many requests. The suite was nicely furnished and the large private patio was a treat and perfect for entertaining a few friends. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

great hotel, service and food. great experience.

great hotel, service and food. great experience.
only problem was the clanking in the bathroom wall which cost us a good nights sleep. it was blamed on the city water system. hotel has ignored our complaint. a shame.

By far my favourite hotel in Vancouver. The service is outstanding, the hotel is beautifully maintained in its traditional style, and the rooms and beds are well-dressed and comfortable. I love that it s a boutique hotel as it feels more cozy and intimate. It is my hotel of choice when I head into the city for a night away from my home in the suburbs.

Super services.

First the stuff im not the biggest fan of; The room is very nice though make sure to get something on a higher floor, having a suite that faces a back alley is not ideal.

That being said the staff is fantastic and attentive, the amenities are lovely as is the quality of products used.

I like it and would stay again, though I would again ask for a higher floor not facing an alley.

Amazing staff, very accommodating and friendly. Hosted a small very intimate wedding for us in one of the suites and the restaurant food is incredible. They were very accommodating to vegan diets. Very nice atmosphere and character. Will definitely be returning.

This is a very nice boutique hotel downtown offering some great COVID deals. Loved the full size tub in the room...didn t have the courage to jump in. Close to everything, easy to walk to where you need to get to. Spent the morning on the East facing patio drinking Nespresso watching the cyclists ride by. Great way to start the day!

Leave your vehicle with the friendly Valet and your worries and stresses at the door and enter the Wedgewood. Enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant and fantastic piano lounge, Great rooms, and what really makes this place is the amazing staff. A solid five stars.

Definitely a 5 Star hotel! Clean, beautiful rooms and views, felt very fortunate to have found this great hotel. Close to everything and an excellent elegant restaurant for sure at the Bacchus!! They surprised us for our Anniversary and upgraded us to the Penthouse which is " gorgeous "! We'll definitely be back soon. What a wonderful experience!

The Wedgewood really is in a class on its own in Vancouver. The rooms were beautiful and you can't beat the lounge; it's easily one of the nicest places to hang out a night down town for a cocktail.

Great bar with nice waiters and fast service. Come here with a group from work and they accommodated well allowing us to push together some tables. I hope to come back at a later time.

The Wedgewood Hotel and Spa was amazing! The staff made us feel special from the minute we checked in to the minute we checked out.

We enjoyed a couples massage at the spa which was amazing, dinner at the restaurant was fabulous and the room was beautiful. We had welcome chocolates when we first arrived and every night we received cookies and fresh water bottles in our room.

The hotel is centrally located and we could walk to everything.

We would highly recommend this hotel!

Great little hidden gem in centre of town. You wouldn't know it's there but for the doormen in classic uniforms running out to cars and holding doors. Very nice and romantic restaurant and piano bar. Beautiful rooms

The staff are amazing at Wedgewood. I have stayed here a few times and I'm always impressed by the level of care given to each guest. The manager was incredible. She even made my 3 year old feel noticed and special. As a parent, when someone treats your child like a valued guest instead of an annoyance, it makes your stay wonderful. Thank you to the staff at Wedgewood. Also, if you want a great soaker tub, book the Deluxe King room!

The bell boy was yelling at people when me and my family were arrived. Don t think he has a good customer service skill. A hotel bell boy shouldn t be yelling at any customers. The staying was okay though.

Booked a room for a friend who had no credit card and I specifically told them to make sure he will be able to check in. They confirmed everything will be fine and I left my card on file with them for any charges. When my friend came they didn't let him check in and as it was late he was left out on the streets with no room for the night. Just horrible. And on top of that they still charged me the full price for the night

Very soft beds, can totally sink into it and fall asleep in seconds. Steam room is very nice and has a little room next to it for relaxation. Very attentive staffs too. Overall a very nice stay. Would come again next time.

My all-time favorite hotel in Vancouver BC (and I've stayed in numerous ones). Great location, super rooms, top staff, wonderful spa and love the Bacchus Lounge for lunch and/or cocktails. Bravo all around!

Beware that the "Jacuzzi" suite isn't actually a Jacuzzi at all. It's just a soaker tub without jets. Apparently some suites do have jets but it's not clearly apparent when booking the rooms as to which ones do and do not have jets.

I brought this up with the front desk and they just shrugged and said "some people like a soaker tub". Well I didn't.

I would expect this type of response in a 2 star hotel but not one as "high end" as this one.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! From the moment you inquire about booking a room, they are attentive and accomodating and go above and beyond on all fronts.

I was booking a stay-cation for our 10th wedding anniversary and wanted something really special and romantic. Vicky went out of her way to help me book the perfect room and no detail was missed. With Vicky's attention on our special milestone, we were booked in one of the penthouse rooms, room 1401 on the hotel's "suite deal" promotion. Our continental breakfast was included in the rate and we had it delivered to our room each morning. It was delicious!! We are already missing the chocolate croissants.

When we arrived everyone was absolutely wonderful and there was a special treat of chocolate dipped strawberries, handmade chocolates and marshmallows, and fruit and wine waiting for us with a lovely card. We had dinner in the Bacchus Restaurant and the food was delicious.

The hotel and restaurant have excellent covid protocols in place and we were even able to add tips to our bill at checkout for various room service calls as we didn't bring cash due to pandemic concerns. The hotel allows you to text the concierge which is a really nice feature.

If I could give the hotel more than 5 stars I would. It's classy, elegant, private, and romantic and I highly recommend it for any kind of stay. We will be back!!!

Would have been a 5 star review, except we were disappointed with a miscommunication with the front desk at the time of booking. We were told that all the rooms had soaker tubs, some in the bedroom and some in the bathroom, and that if we booked a suite online, that we could request a soaker tub in the bedroom upon check-in. When we arrived, we were told that there were no rooms with soaker tubs available, and there was nothing they could do. We ended up having to stay in a tiny room with a tiny tub, barely big enough for both of us to sit up straight in. Very disappointing, considering we booked this as a special romantic date night.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating, definitely missed the hotel even when exploring downtown Vancouver. Would recommend to anyone staying in the city. Room was gorgeous, ice and cookies delivered daily. The valet is a bit pricey but they have your car ready for whatever time it's needed and they will even block traffic to let you pull out. Everything was perfect and worth more than what we paid!

My first time in Canada and I fell in love with this Hotel. Because it s an older hotel the walls are thick and I slept well without being disturbed by other guests. I read other reviews stating it was dated but to me it was comforting and charming and I liked that it was a solid hotel with larger rooms for my kids to spread out. They don t make places like this anymore. I traveled in 2015 and now looking to go back this year

Spent our wedding night here, and we couldn't be happier. The staff helped me extensively with the surprise packages I wanted for my bride. Very helpful! We are definitely returning for staycations!

Nice fancy hotel but, I do not recommend their Valet. My boyfriend had his clutch burnt out bad in his new, right hand drive Subaru by one of their Valet drivers.

The hotel did not even take any fault, it was a "mechanical issue," which is not true at all. It was brand new, and imported. Though it was an honest mistake, the valet driver working on this day didn't know how to drive a right hand standard, but at least make it fair in actually owning up to your mistakes. Now we are out 3 grand because, "K" doesn't know how to drive stick. We even insisted on not wanting the Valet drivers driving the vehicle.

Overall, beautiful setting, nice staff, nice rooms. But, our experience has not been peachy.

Above and beyond amazing, in every way. My boyfriend and I stayed here for our 3 year anniversary and it was perfect. Our suite had 2 bathrooms which at first to us seemed very extra but after experiencing it, we loved it. It really helped keep things romantic. We enjoyed the tub and loved that there was already salts in the room for it and the shutters so that one lay in bed while the other was in the tub and you could watch TV from the tub as well! The hotel is stunning and the service is amazing. It really made our stay feel relaxing since we never had to worry about literally anything. No hailing our own cabs or lugging our bags around, anything we needed was just one call away. Valet parking was $45 but that seemed reasonable considering the location and you can get your car back whenever you need it. We were brought cookies in the evening and water bottles. We enjoyed the free steam room before we went home sunday. We love that check out is noon, it gave us a chance to sit and relax more in the room and get in the jetted tub again with our coffees. The coffee from the in room nespresso was fantastic. All in all we will be back every year now for our anniversary! Thank you Wedgewood staff!

Definitely a 5 star hotel and dining experience. The staff are attentive and relaxed which sets the tone for your interactions with them during your visit. Our room overlooked Robson Square and the Art Gallery, providing a picturesque cityscape in crisp, bright April skies. You will be impressed by the attention to detail in the rooms which are surprisingly quiet in the heart of downtown Vancouver. The food is exquisite and the wine list comprehensive. We will be staying here again.

The service was incredible from start to finish. At one point in the restaurant I sneezed, and the waiter brought me a tissue!

The room was immaculate, and the little details were so appreciated. Willy definitely be back.

All staff members were very approachable and very friendly. Were able to answer all my questions. Offered current dated newspaper to read while I waited for my plus one. Service was excellent. Food was also good but portion size somewhat small compared to other places in Vancouver.

I have been to the Wedgewood many times for afternoon tea, it was my favorite place for tea, I was sad when they stopped but hopefully they will start back up and I'll be there. The lunch was the best the food all tasted so good and the tea selection was nice. The hotel is really nice and the staff are all friendly.

From the moment of arrival when the valet opened our doors, to the ease of check-in and personalised front desk calls, it's the little things that really make your stay special here. Our Christmas Eve booking included a card and cookies in our room upon arrival. Everything was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. In our room all furniture and fixtures were of high quality, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Wedgewood after a long flight from Australia, to shake some of the jet lag. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful - our room was ready several hours before our check in time and the suite itself was really nice - comfortable, clean and well laid out. The hotel is in a great location, with easy walk to CBD, train stations, shopping and entertainment. We will definitely stay again next time we visit Vancouver.

A beautiful boutique hotel in a prime location to easily walk to main shopping area and restaurants. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and obliging. Evening drinks (in front of a fire if you are early enough) is a luxurious experience. If you want to really treat yourself, upgrade to the Penthouse Suite - beautiful!

This is the hotel to go to if you value dealing with talented staff who care about their guests. From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by the doorman to the time you get to your room it is very clear that you are staying in a premium hotel (though the prices for the rooms are really no different than any other downtown hotel) The rooms are spotless, well appointed, super quiet and don't be surprised if a staff member leaves you a box of chocolates or knocks on your door in the early evening to deliver complimentary cookies...with a smile. DId not eat at the restaurant but the lounge is terrific, great ambiance, fair pricing and wicked good service. Speaking of wicked good service, last call is at midnight and the lounge closes up at 1am. When we were there after a concert it was around 12:40 am and a group of three walked in for a glass of wine. Everything was closed and locked up and the manager Sabrina had her coat and touque on and was walking out the door.....When she saw the customers she told them that the lounge was closed for the evening..but before they could respond she asked if they were staying at the hotel. When they said yes, she simply took off her coat and touque and told them that she would take care of them. She opened up the bar, unlocked everything and got them a bottle of wine. Did not matter to her at all that she was delayed going home by at least a half hour. All that mattered to her was that the customers were taken care of.

WARNING to the Wedgewood,.....Sabrina is a star and any high end hotel would do backflips and move mountains to get someone like her on board. Do whatever you can to keep her because she truly is amazing and even though we only witnessed her in action one time....it was enough that next time we go to vancouver, the choice of hotel is not even a choice....We pick the Wedgwood. 100% guaranteed.

The staff is extraordinary and the room was exquisite. Truly wonderful hospitality, going above and beyond what we always receive when we visit Canada.

The food at the attached restaurant was delicious. We didn't get a chance to try the spa, but we'll do that next time because we're definitely coming back!
