Micheal Hastings is an awesome counselor taught mw some techniques that truly work to combat anxiety. He is a huge asset to the community and the WHS, sad that I had to leave so soon after finding him as I moved home to Georgia.

The crisis worker I talked to helped me out so much. I am in a bit of a mess that needs to be fixed and they were my first stop in trying to get help getting my life back together and she was so helpful and kind. I have an appointment tomorrow to talk more about all the options I have out there

This place is absolutely amazing! A couple years ago I was going through some personal struggles. Due to amazing people like Roberto & Emily, I have been able to overcome many of my struggles! Look, if you are willing to do the work to make life changes, there are ABSOLUTELY NO BETTER PEOPLE to help you with your goals. Keep in mind that they are YOUR goals though, you have to be the one to put in the work. My ENTIRE BEING is extremely grateful to Roberto, Emily & everyone behind the front lines at WHS. I could NEVER repay you for what you have done for me!

What an absolute blessing to have this facility available to us. I have always been treated with kindness and respect. I watched one of the security guards in the AM, he was so patient with an individual. Never once raising his voice, and willing to listen to the individual. He set such an example.

You'd think they would be happy to help someone who is really depressed...they wouldn't even talk to my daughter because she doesn't have Medicaid and they only accept Medicaid people didn't matter she has no insurance at all...very disappointed on top of the fact that they were very rude...never have I experienced such a thing at any place that deals with mental health issues. Would never recommend this place to anyone

This place is horriable, the people that need the most help people like the poor, homeless and drug adicts are not getting good or priper care. Its difficult to get thwm to give people a psychological evaluation or to even get perscriped meds. I have known two people that have said they go there for help and nothing really happens and the process is long and tetitus.

The youth services that suppose treat kids for therapy is ridiculous. My son has been thru so many therapist that they don't realize damage they are doing to my son. My son really liked Becky S but she retired and she had be one of therapist to abandoned him too.

Counseling, information for different services needed, and drug and alcohol programs are available. Very nice people all the way around. If they couldn't help they'd find someone that could.

They were not as informative as I expected. The girl at the information desk did not want me to use the restroom as they "do not have public restrooms". I clearly saw a sign pointing to restrooms. I needed a min to freshen up as I was meeting me son there so he could start the intake process as he is a heroin user. So.... I sat in the lobby and cried and read scripture verses that would comfort me while I was waiting for my son to show up. I also prayed out-loud and prayed in the spirit. This has been a very difficult time for me and my adult children. I had some friends from church and my Pastor praying at the same time. I will not loose my precious and beautiful son to drugs! My point here is... To the door keepers in the lobby of the Weber Mental Health services. Please show a little compassion for those families struggling through drug and other addictions. Would it have hurt you to let me use the bathroom for a few moments of privacy? I really needed a place not so public to pull myself together before my son got there. You made an unhappy situation even worse.......

I really want to know how can a public servant who works for the people that played taxes to build that building, Only allows people that have appointments that day can use the restrooms, that building is there for us to be able to use because we are not able to use private restrooms and we can t go anywhere near the UTA Bus Stops. What is the problem with the public servants who work for the Planning Department don't they have to go to the restroom. What is happening with this world? I remember every business that serves the public was required to allow the people to be able to use restrooms!! Sanitation is a Public Health Concern and we all should be able take care of our families

Hate the fact that we pay for all those programs that are being offered by them, but they act like they are not interested in our health. Why do they have so many vehicles in the parking lot! I think its a big waste of money to spend on services that are not worth it

Case manager Emily Carter, left me in tears the way she was talking down to me. Made me feel like the scum of the Earth. I work with 2 different programs for my treatment, it gets confusing. Pretty much she encouraged me to leave the program several times, spoke over me to tell me her opinion just to hang up on me. Everyone else is pretty great very friendly. Seems like Miss Emily hated having to do her job given that it takes her several calls, messages and days to get back to her "clients". I can only imagine how terrible she makes other people feel. No im not a cry baby that was told no to getting "free drugs" (I can see how people would write a bad review because they "didn't get their way") she was just blatantly terrible! I would hate to see what she could do to someone that has no support system what so ever.

Horrible place for mental health services. Therapy is like a drive thru and an appt for medications is a meet and greet even though I requested medicine change and more time than 5 min every 3 months.

I decided to give this place a try. Hoping for a change. But instead they gave me the run around. REFUSED to help me. The therapist here were never understanding. They always acted like they had other things to do than to help me. They just judged and never listened to me. I was asking for help but all I got was NO HELP in return. Places like this make me sick. They just want money they don't want to help anyone. They just toss you aside and make you feel like you are TOO BROKEN TO FIX OR TREAT. NOT COOL! nobody could get help from this place when they won't even listen and keep you with a therapist that will understand and work with you. I thought that was what this place was for. But i was mistaken and wrong. I don't recommend this place. Unless it was your ONLY choice. I wish it was not my ONLY choice and my last.

I've been going here for 15 years, ever since I was a kid. This seems like less of a place for the community to seek help, and more of a place to institutionalize, belittle, and take advantage of those caught with drug charges.
You can only receive treatment here if you're on state Medicaid or Medicare -- they don't take regular insurance and you can't even pay out of pocket. Yup, no psychiatrists available to the general public. For that you need to visit a different county.
Personally I've only been in trouble for missing school, and the state branded me a criminal on par with drug dealers and heroin addicts. Needless to say, that actually *introduced* me to drugs at a young age.
They seems to have an enourmous workload, because of Weber County's massive drug problems. And I don't think they make any impact on the community to fix it.
Regardless, they do have good people working here, probably because they pay well, but those people could be doing much better work at a place less focused on keeping the incarcerated incarcerated.
