Weber Mental Health Review

I've always had good experiences here, when I was released from the hospital I was sent there for therapy, an Dr. Adams, was incredible! He helped me in so many ways, understanding, to much to list... but, I personally really liked my experience here.

I really think they have something for all five of US. ME likes the professionalism. MYSELF likes how they greet US with a smile. WE leave sessions with the belief that they care?

I accompany a Mentally Challenged Individual to his appointments. Thanks to Burke for all his help!

This place has helped so much with so many different things I have had to deal with..

Friendly service a little expansive but in the end its worth it

My doctor's office is there and they have excellent customer service there.

The best help in Weber county. Support and helpful skills oriented groups.

Great local Mental Health and Substance abuse agency. They offer a range of services from MH, Youth, Substance, Aging and Housing.

They have no compassion for humans, and act like they are god

Convince store with some tables, restrooms, gasoline and snacks

Have been there before. Then didn't need to. Then I started going there again 3yrs ago. My counselors were wonderful kind and understanding. I see Angela for medications and she wonderful. I'm sad to see her go. They have a variety of different types of help for people.

Why have the people in this organization set out to make it as difficult as possible for recovering addicts to get into treatment?

A great place that helps You with Your Mental, Physical and other Services that Help You better to make You a better person for Your Family and Friends.?!!

This place is amazing. If your serious about getting help. There is medical an mental. They even have a pharmacy. Not to mention a whole string of housing posibilites.

Calling and talking to someone on the phone is the most difficult thing. They never know what you seem to be talking about

Well maintained/clean. Friendly security guards (One went out of his way to look up the directions for me to a clinic in a totally different city)... Situated in an easy to reach area.

These people have no consideration for other peoples time. My son has had 3 appointments. He has shown up as required and told"Sorry your appointment has been cancelled" No phone call to let him know. Of course not that would be to polite and appropriate. If he just didn't show they would have him arrested. What a joke people. Pull your heads out of your rectile area please. Thank you

My son goes to counseling here. It use to be a great place with people that care. Now it's all about just barely getting the job done. Maybe it's moral or not enough funding. They once use to take the groups out to eat or to the movies, this is a great way to learn social skills. Many mentally ill people lose the ability to function in society, they need to have these outings and they're no longer doing that. I do like the pharmacy and I'm happy with the front desk, but the monetary and counseling need to get it together

Awesome place!! It's for Medicaid recipients only .. will need to have medicaid backup so I can continue going!! I just barely got accepted to receive disability benefits!

It location is very convenient for first timers and the people that work there are very nice and helpful.

Best services and staff I've ever had to deal with.

I would rate you a ZERO, but that's not an option! Do you know where someone who is a Veteran with PTSD can find a job who has a felony?

I was surprised at the available services for a family member who is now a senior citizen.

I have a wonderful therapist and a new case manager. She is awesome

This is not a reflection on the treatment providers here. They are well educated and dedicated to what they do. The problem is the system. This is the only place for anyone on Medicaid in the county to get mental health or substance abuse help. To say that the staff are overwhelmed at times is an understatement. Appointments are often difficult to get and when you have one you may get bumped due to a crisis. As you wait for your appointment you are surrounded by junkies often fiending for a fix. I understand that we all have our own struggles, but at times it makes getting needed help more difficult. As a disabled veteran I am thankful I can drive 40 miles and get help through the VA rather than go there. My don't have that luxury though and private insurance would cost half my income.
The work they do at Weber Human Services is important. But the facility is too small and there aren't enough people.

It was a good experience and was given extra help to be proactive with goals needing to be completed.

I hate that the only way you can go here is if you have medicaid. I hope one day you open up to accept other insurance companies.

I have been sent away every time I have tried to get help from them even after they have told me to come in its a little sad to me but is what it is

Everyone is so positive and helpful, my DAUGHTER had to move from Davis to Weber, she was very reluctant at first, but smiled through it just fine.

Too many questions that has nothing to do with why you are there

Took some counselor shopping but I found a personal therapist and a couple counselor that are absolutely fantastic!

I just love this place I can't wait to see the finished product. (ME!) Lol

The counselors were top notch and very supportive. If you are willing to dig in and work hard, you can suceed with the help and support of this wonderful organization.

Help with stress issues &depression, suicide thoughts

Hard to get figured out, but I do appreciate their help and services during times of need.

They're very hopeful in doing what you have to do. They have some really good therapist and prescribers if you're in need of mental health assistance
