Not really thrilled with the food at this place. Costs plenty and not that great.

This course is on the nice end but it s more of a resort course or a course getting ready to go private seen it happen before. It isn t overly challenging but still fun and views are great also visually nice and hopefully it will get better once they finish all the work that s going on. The prices are a bit high since the course is under changes bunkers under repair and when your airing the greens you should lower the price. I will play it again since the staff is overly friendly. The one really negative thing is when I was there to play the greens were aired and the starter was hitting drives down the fairway and had to sit and wait till he fetched all his balls.

Course was beautiful. Conditions were pretty good. We payed $60, which is great for what you get!

Extremely well kept course. The staff are very friendly. Very nice course design that will test every golfer.

Front nine was soggy but back nine was fine. Hardest part is the number of sand traps which were in terrible condition. Overall, nice course but not in very good shape.

I STARTED CALLING WEAVER RIDGE A WEEK AGO TO MAKE A RESERVATION FOR SIX PEOPLE FOR DECEMBER 11 FOR LUNCH. THIS GROUP OF WOMEN HAVE HAD A CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON THERE FOR MANY YEARS BECAUSE THE FOOD IS GOOD AND THE STAFF IS NICE. MANY OF US PATRONIZE THE RESTAURANT SEVERAL TIMES EACH YEAR. NO ONE EVER ANSWERED THE PHONE IN THE RESTAURANT, AND I WAS SENT TO VOICE MAIL. SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE NEXT FIVE DAYS I LEFT VOICE MAILS FOR SOMEONE TO CALL ME BECAUSE I WANTED TO MAKE A RESERVATION. NEVER GOT A CALL. THEN I DECIDED TO TRY THE OTHER NUMBERS ON THEIR PHONE MENU AND LEFT MESSAGES FOR THOSE WHO HAD SET UP THEIR VOICE MAILS TO CALL ME: #1 GOLF SHOP, #2 RESTAURANT, #3 EVENTS, #4 MARKETING, #5 ACCOUNTING, #6 CLUB HOUSE, #7 MAINTENANCE, #8 GENERAL MANAGER, AND #9 ALL OTHER CALLS. FOR #8 & #9 I RECEIVED, "THE VOICE MAIL BOX HAS NOT BEEN SET UP YET!" BECAUSE I HEARD METAMORA FIELDS' OWNERS HAD PURCHASED WEAVER RIDGE, I CALLED THEM TO COMPLAIN. I GOT THE SAME NUMBERS' MENU AND GOT THE SAME RESPONSE FOR #8 & 9. CONSEQUENTLY, I GAVE UP. YESTERDAY, DECEMBER 9, I CALLED THE LARIAT STEAKHOUSE IN PEORIA, AND THEY WERE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE US. THANKS TO THE LARIAT.

Beautiful course, one of my favorites in the state.

Nice 'shape' to the course from the perspective of the holes, however it is in very shabby condition.
- - Sand traps are the worst due to the lack of maintenance.
+Greens are true,
- Cart paths are dangerous due to their age.

Great course, many sand traps under major repair. Love the elevation changes.

4-1/2 stars. Nice gem in Peoria! Friendly front 9 but when you get to the back 9 it gets tricky. A shorter game would do the trick to stay out of trouble on the back 9. Nice staff, clubhouse has full bar and restaurant. Nice pro shop stocked with whatever you may need. Would definitely go back.

Nice place for a drink or bite to eat. Great brunch on Sundays
