Making coffee in New Orleans was a chore, tape water didn't work, even store bought "distilled" or such sucked, bought a Waterwise and coffee was once again 1st class. Service is quick when required after how many hundred gallons distilled, and not expensive. Its been in Texas most of this time and has a friend (a 2nd Waterwise distiller).
Can't beat these guys products. Highly recommended the model 7000 water distiller.
This company is incredible. We have used their distillers for around 10 years now and just love the products. What really makes this company great is their customer service, which is by far the best I have EVER received! Their staff is very knowledgeable and most of all caring for their customers. Tried to order a Waterwise 7000 3 gallon distiller since the only difference between the 3-8-12 gallon models is the reservoir capacity, and they stated that they were out of stock for everything except one 12 gallon model (which costs heaps more). We really wanted the product however so we bit the bullet and bought the 12 gallon model. Fairly quickly the cord from the boiling pot to the rest of the unit fused in place. They were pretty good about sending a replacement cord but none too curious why it happened and instead blamed us, suggesting that we had not plugged the cord in all the way (we had and always have). The replacement worked for a short time before fusing another cord requiring the socket to be replaced as well. Then the heating element went and its associated wiring then the wiring again. At no time was the answer anything other than being bothered and that it was all our fault until the warranty ran out and then it was "buy the parts all you want but it's still your fault!" Never an offer to inspect let alone replace the obviously faulty unit. Never any trouble shooting. always just the blame game and letting us know what a hassle it is to have us as customers. Well we will nt be buying replacement parts and it will rot in a heap so nobody else will have to pour money into this lemon and we will unequivocally never be buying from Waterwise nor ever recommending them again! On the contrary!
I purchased a Waterwise 4000 about 8 years ago and have been using it almost daily and many times multiple times a day. Well it started to leave water in the tank undistilled, so I contacted Waterwise when I came across a deal on e-bay for a "New" old stock system. They asked me what was going on and said they could refurbish mine for ~100 parts and labor. So for about 1/3 the price I decided to go ahead. It took about a week including shipping (I'm not far from the factory I learned), anyway when I received it back it looked like new. They repaired it, with a few new parts, and cleaned the tank and top stainless to look new. I don't know if it'll last another 9 years but, the service was more than I expected and far quicker. Thank you waterwise - we're back in business making distilled water everyday.
