Great company, really care about their employees and partners.
This driver almost destroyed our car and could have potentially killed us! His license plate number is U476897, TN. We were in PA on I-95 South merging to 476 north around 420pm on 6/7/19. We were on the left lane and this truck was behind us. He then proceeded to speed up. Half his truck was on the left emergency shoulder, the other half in our lane forcing my husband to break hard. Hadn't my husband drastically slow down, we would have gotten into a deadly motor vehicle accident. I hope this company does something about this driver since he continued to drive recklessly.
Worst place I ever work for after the guaranteed pay you won't make any money run run fast in the other direction
I encountered one of these fleet drivers in Marietta, Georgia, in an extremely unpleasant and drawn out situation. While I was making my way in the right lane of an intersection, directly before the I75S on ramp, a car stopped in front of me. Because I slowed down, this particular first fleet driver sustained his horn at me despite the fact that I never stopped and regained my speed through the intersection. There had never been less than a 4 car distanced gap between the truck and myself, but he felt the need to hold his horn through the intersection. Naturally, this bothered me, so I pressed my breaks to signal him to stop. There was still a 4 car distances between us, regardless of hitting my breaks. We both merged onto the highway, and I accelerated to get away from him. I had put a mile between us, but he pulled up next to me. We drove cabin to sedan, when without a blinker he tried to merge into me, all the while he was honking and yelling. I accelerated again because it seemed the safest thing for me to do. We both merged on to I285w where I saw him cut off two other cars without a blinker. I caught up to him one other time, purely to get his information because clearly his dispute with me isn t isolated. This is an emotional and dangerous driver. I have worked for three other companies ... been here a year & half and plan to retire from here. No mickey mouse games everything is straightforward when they tell you something; you can almost always bank on it. Honesty, integrity, & pride are only a couple of words that come to mind. Everything is simplified & streamlined plan & simple. By far the best company i've ever worked for or done business with.
I filled out an application I got four and a half years OTR experience. I can't get a hold of a recruiter or anybody to call me back.
I would give them no stars. One of their drivers rear ended me in Bloomington IN. At the end they put a really good story saying I drove on reverse and hit their truck. Their semi truck did not have any damages and my small car is all messed up now. The insurance denied liability and now I have to pay for my repair. Hey FirstFleet, you have a reckless driver out there that I dont want to say his name publicly. It is not fair that I have to pay for a repair when you were responsible. Your semi did not suffer any damages and this is the first case I have seen where the affected in the rear end accident is the responsible party.
From the first day I feel that I am part of this family, here your time at home is respected, everything is well coordinated salary, routes, Dispach, the maneuvers always with the best disposition to help you in what you need, Keep it up
Worst job ever had they say 30 days training got 3 days dont care about driver safety at all
As a agent dealing with the public, first fleet is pretty shady. At least hauling loads from I.P. Rarely on time. Speaking from experience. If accidents are ever an occurrence, I wish you the best of luck. First Fleet will wiggle their way out of it every time. As an employer, pretty decent until it comes to backing their superiors. They choose the word of upper management regardless of employee reliability.
First Fleet is a great place to work. We have excellent benefits that stand out from the rest competitive pay and they treat me like family. I love we re I work my terminal manager is great to work for they work around your schedule if you have something going on with proper notice and this is a place we re you can retire from. We have 36 + terminals across the United States to accommodate every driver.
You're driver ran us off the road on route 3 a 2 lane highway with no shoulder in spotsylvania, virginia around 4pm today USDOT # 313891 on the side of the cab will post in your pictures. Fire this man he is a hazard and shouldn't be trust behind the wheel of an 18-Wheeler. It also appears this exact DOT number is in another picture that I didn't take. Guess you guys dont listen to reviews. Way to have a liability. 10/4/2019
