Snow was awesome when i was there. But the staff is horrible. When i was going onto the lift the lift attendant was busy so i slid by him, he chased me down and pushed me to the ground. Also thier BMW "owner" parking is a joke, i own 2 BMWs. I parked there and was told to move or they will tow me. Mountain is great staff i horrible.
Went on a Friday. Great price for a lift ticket. Found room upstairs to store gear and eat. Lift line moved quickly. Staff all seemed friendly.
Good snow and not crowded during the week. New RFID tickets worked well. I was there 12/14
We were there from this Monday to Wednesday, only a few people here since it wasn t holiday, which is great, we enjoyed more of the vibes. Also the soups at the food court were great!
Great Escape Room Super fun. The people there are extremely friendly.
Met an off-duty instructor while skiing with my two buddies. They decided to take me down a blue/ black diamond for my second time skiing, and about half way down I was seriously struggling. A man approached me and offered me life-saving tips shortly after he helped me recover one of my poles and skis. Turns out he was an instructor at Waterville Valley named Kim. Kim demonstrated enthusiasm, patience and a passion for what he does to the point where it inspired to be more like him. He stayed with me and encouraged me even though i continued to fall off my skis, and cheered me on when I succeeded which helped me eventually regain my confidence and I was able to make it all the way down the mountain. He spent about 30 minutes with me and continued to instruct me throughout the whole thing. To be honest that man was a life savor. I offered him money or a beer but he said that wasn't necessary. Kim demonstrated an impressive skill in skiing instruction and a love for what he does, and I will probably never forget the favor he did for me.
I recently stayed at the RCI owned building, which is an older building. The bedrooms do not have doors, the dining/living room is very small. I was charged &125.00 for leaving my pie plate; a fresh dozen of eggs in the fridge; and I did not put the dishes away from the dishwasher; that I left going on my departure. I have never heard of such rules in my 20 years of travel. Waterville itself is great but do not go through RCI.
Best place ever. Have been going every summer since 1992 when I was 2 years old. Great for kids and adults who love the outdoors but also relaxation of amazing resorts. Summer unlimited package is the bomb, everything for a single price, no breaking out the wallet for every activity.

Great lessons for kids. Varried territory and long runs. Good MTN for people of all abilities.
Very good place to ski and snowboard, only needs to improve a little in the structure
Great place, good trail variety, parks could use some work they just aren't crisp and clean.
Great little gem for a family ski trip. I love the Town Square. It gives off a small village vibe. The beginner ski area is a great place to learn skiing without having the more advanced skiers flying down the hill while you're trying to learn. The rentals are reasonably priced and pretty nice. The lift tickets are very high priced but if you buy in advance you get a good deal. I was very surprised at the lack of breakfast places available for a weekday morning. We couldn't find anywhere to sit down and eat a large breakfast. They had a cafe with small items and a waffle shack on the mountain, but not what we were looking for. Where do people eat breakfast around here during the week? All in all a pretty nice place.
Excellent, they got everything we needed and good price for the stay. Recommended for everyone.
Great small ski resort, not too crowded and great for the kids to learn.
Great grooming and reasonable prices lift tickets when purchased in advance.
Lots of variety for skiing. Very friendly lift staff remembered us every time! Grooming could be a little better, but overall would recommend.
Town center is great, with bike rentals and a lake in the summer and everything you'd want in the winter. Great ski area, new expansion opening in 2016/2017, great family spot.
Well laid out. Main lodge walk inside get ticket, change and hit the slopes. They use RFID tickets so the lift lines are non existent. Conditions were great and facilities are clean. Awesome place for the family!!
Great trails, and well groomed. Also have a good variety, from glades to moguls and a terrain park.
Good teaching areas except for the beginner chair being on the opposite side of the base area from the magic carpets. Snow was great on Jan 13.
Staff is consistently rude, whether it is at the lift ticket counter, food, or guest services. Other staff and customers are generally rude and snobbish, this place is not worth the hype. It's flat and jammed with people who have no idea what they are doing. Basically if you are into cross country skiing, you should just go to Waterville. If you are actually about alpine skiing, go to Cannon, or Wildcat, or just skip NH and go to Maine.
Not a bad hill, they only have one main quad that goes to the top but the line moves fairly quick. Basd on the ticket price I would probably head a little further north a go to loon and get a little more bang for your buck. If you've ever been to attitash or cranmore, Waterville is a cross between those two, not that big but bigger than cranmore.
This is the place for skiing. Big wide runs or tight narrow trails what ever you prefer. Also some of the best parks around if that is your thing with a snowboard!! Mid week it feels like you have the mountain to yourself sometimes really nice
My dad works as the grooomer here. It is a nice place with a few trails. The grooming is the best it can be with the wheather warming up. Overall great place.
Great ski hill really well enjoyed and doesn t receive as much traffic as other local resorts like loon
Unique alpine village with a great mountain. Tons to do when off the slopes.
Very large area for NH with a 4006ft summit. The top lodge is a great place to stop and warm up with a full bar and specialty foods only found there. Snow quality could be better more consistently and it can be windy, as it is very exposed. It is also a ways off the highway but is certainly better than Loon on a Saturday. Definetly worth checking out.
Have been to this resort multiple times, have stayed multiple nights with family, we always had great experience enjoying the hikes in fall, all the amenities - canoeing, biking, hiking, golfing, ski lift rides and restaurants on site. Fall foliage festival in the month of October is awesome with live music, food and great atmosphere. Highly recommend staying for a night or two to thoroughly enjoy the resort and surrounding nature.

This year is my 51'st year here.
Straight fall line skiing
Very large and cozy. Friendly staff and a good sized pool.
It had been over twenty years since I last visited Waterville Valley. They are doing a great job of managing this mountain. The terrain is wonderful and a great facility.
Beautiful ski resort/ town nestled among the mountains
Excellent skiing. Went there with school winter program and the kids had a blast.
Very well priced and an awesome experience. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.
While this mountain is nice for begginers, it get boring really fast for any advanced skier/snowboarder.
3 out of 4 visits the mountain has been at least partially closed. You still pay almost full price to ski on quadzilla all day.
Smoking deals on Liftopia. Hit or miss on conditions. Max fun on a pow day!
Didn't much because it's under construction but we did get in some serious extreme sledding lol. No one bothered us and I even found my son's Hester mitten from last season. Because they had all of their lost and found out. !!!!! Score!!!! I love your staff!!! And the mountain
Had a great day skiing here, the place is awesome if you're looking to hit blue cruisers all day. There's not much challenging terrain, a few somewhat steep trails. The lodge at the summit serves big beers, good selection.
Was here for a retreat in the summer. Great outdoor activities, especially hiking. Definitely take the chair lift up to hike down by the waterfalls. Ths "lake" is a little small for kayaking, but still fun. Accommodations were spacious, but simple.
Advanced skiers may scoff, but I say there is plenty of fun to be had. Trees, bumps and the new Green Peek. New base Lodge is coming along nicely.
Always enjoy this mountain from the varied terrain to the apres entertainment one of my favorites
Maybe the skiing is good but going for a hockey tournament is a huge waste of money. Rooms are very expensive especially for what you get and the tournament is a joke. No hockey rules are applied. Letting the clock run for the last 10 minutes of a 2 goal game because the prior game ran over. Very poorly run. Would not go back.
One of the most scenic ski mountains in the east. Great snow, great terrain, great people; a friendly atmosphere that encourages skiers and snowboarders alike to join the fun.
Great skiing, great ski shop with great yearly trade-in deals for kids skis.
Weekday perfect for adults. We had a TON of powder, zero lines, and tons of space in the lodge.
Loved it , haven't gone in a while. Surprised to see lift tickets at $93!
Great snow, good mix of trails and great weather on Sunday.
Sad day on the slopes. We will likely be one and done. Drove up from MA. The main lift was not operating by 10:30am. Their solution to funnel everyone up one lift was not sufficient considering the lift lines were atrocious.
We were shocked at the snow conditions considering the snowmaking equipment on the mountain.
My son loves skiing here and we recently held a wedding here.
Great sized mountain, plenty of area to move around in. 11 chair lifts and somewhere around 46 trails when we went on St. Patrick's Day and bought our tickets for $17!
Good skiing, nice lift operators, good place to bring young kids.
Excellent service. The best lift operstors department I've seen.
The staff is great, and the trails are too. It's great for skiers and snowboarders, and in about April they have a pond skimming event which you have to sign up for, but you can watch other people do it. Great community, and a great mountain.
Excellent Terrain with some cool Natural 'Features' and three Terrain Runs (Baby 'LowerStillness'?, Momma 'Stillness', and BigDaddy 'Exhibition')... I avoided BigDaddy because I am not as 'OnRails' while on Skis as I am on MountainBikes or Motorcycles... (either way, I will never be RedBull Sponsored.... JestSayin'...)
Loved; SugarShack Glades, TrueGrit, TheChute, Stillness, CleanShaven, WayneWongWay, et.al...
Great resort with a good sized mountain, plenty of trails for all levels. They also do a ton of events like hosting Special Olympics, World Cup events and more
Great family mountain with varied terrain. Lodges are comfortable but can get crowded on the weekends.
Great resort. Although a decent military or locals discount would help them . I do like the new pass scanning sensor idea. It makes lines almost unexistent. My main question is the parks. Why are there so few. I went to Killington a week prior and they had much more features and maintenance.
Wasn't well groomed but thay may be due to the number of people that day. Ticket prices were more than the price in site site. Tbars food was horrible.
Some old lefts and no benches for borders.
I would go one more time if there's a good deal on liftopia and hope for better conditions. Beautiful views!!!!
A mix of up to date RFID tech outdoors, aging range of lift chairs and just adequate grooming that cover an apparently expanding set of future trails we saw were in the making. Lodge equally mixed up welcomely open areas lacking some common convinces like microwaves for budget minded families, OK food options served out by engaging cooking staff and sensible, well kept eating and resting areas.
