Amazing skiing! Well maintained trails, helpful and fun ski patrol and house crews are helpful and available . They are doing updates to the base lodge and I always enjoy my days on this mountain. A lot of lifts to absorb people so the lines aren't long.

Good park, but the rest of the mountain is pretty weak. No direct to summit lift service, you have to ride at least 2 chairs to get there. Good for beginners and intermediates, serious skiers will be disappointed.

This is definitely a destination resort. Cone. Park your car. And enjoy! Everything is within walking distance from the condos and hotels. And, they have a free courtesy bus that circulates the numerous resorts connecting to town center.

Pretty cool place, although while I was snowboarding I noticed a few super uneven spots (only on one of the blue square paths I took) could have been because someone wiped out earlier in the day, but also could have been someone not paying too much attention while grooming the trails (either way it was my fault I fell) however the rest of the mountain was great! I'll try getting out there again next season. Fair prices, good place.

No more than 200 skiers and snowboarders on Wednesday, but that's no excuse for the malfunctioning chair lift and fewer than half the trails open. I know you guys can do better. Looking forward to returning to a better performing operation. The bar atmosphere was festive and the bartender delightful.

Gorgeous skiing, wonderful waffles (expert tip: bring cash for the Waffle Cabin or expect a 7% surcharge for credit cards), relaxing lodge. You can bring your own food. Helmet, boots, ski rentals are affordable.

Great and getting better! Not super expensive compared to the other resorts in New England. Easy to get to and they just put an addition on the pub upstairs so I think this season is gonna be a good one for apre ski! Can t wait!

I was at the ski resort on 1/28/2020. I can t say enough great things about your staff. The people at the check-in and restaurant were very friendly. But, the 4 rock stars of the day, by far, were Jovi & Jess (on the main lift) and Daniel & Ross (on the T-bar lift to the summit.) The ladies were always smiling & had pleasant greetings every time we boarded their lift. Daniel & Ross were very polite & never stopped smiling, also. Even the employees manning the end of the lifts, smiled & waved all day long. Every company should be so fortunate to have such an amazing crew!

Horrible conditions on 2/25. It was snowing all day so it would have been a great powder day of it weren't for all the frozen icy bumps everywhere, like skiing mini moguls all day. On a Sunday there's not 1 trail groomed at 8:30am even though their snow report stated most were. 1st and last time I'll go there. Too many other places to ski in NH.

Awesome Ski spot! Short lines, great staff... helpful and friendly.... only issue have is the guests that frequent the mountain have ZERO concern for your vehicle in the parking lot. I purposely parked away from the main stream of cars. When I returned, I had a scratch down the side of my car door, and a dent from where someone opened a door and slammed it into my car...... my car is only 3 months old.

Terrible place, My friends and I were on the ski lift where he dropped one of his gloves on a closed trail (the one who dropped the glove wasn't as experienced as my other friend and I) so when we got off the lift we went on the closed to trail to track the glove down, and yes we did find it. however the next time we took the lift up SKI PATROL CUT OUR TICKETS! we lost 57 dollars, only snowboarded for half the session and were told to leave

Great escape no matter what adventure you're looking for. Great forest and mountain trails that turn to nordic skiing in the winter. The alpine area is wonderful both in the winter and warmer months. Good food and entertainment in the town square. Enjoy!

Lovely place to ski, but for heaven's sake watch out for the traffic nazis on Route 49. I get it, I was not obeying the rules of the road, but to give a 50 year old man the "so you think you can just ..." speech, that's out of line.

Hey, any place is great when the snow is this good and the lift lines are fast, best snow in December east coast in a long time. Actual powder runs. Waterville Valley seemed like it had been graced with the most snow of all the NH mountains we were choosing from based on weather reports. We'd never been before so we went for it. Lift tickets were 10 bucks cheaper the night before online and you skip the line to pick them up. They have started using an easy pass/fast lane style tag reader for the lifts, they give you a card to put in your pocket, and you must return it to get your 5 bucks deposit back. It honestly felt like a prank and we could have come to the mountain without paying... There were no beeps or visible gear to make you think your trip on the lift was being recorded... But it was nice to have no paper tag or sticker to dangle for a hand held scanner...
The mountain itself is kinda small and outdated but that may make it nice and keep the crowds away. The most snow you'll ever see in December east coast NH and they had one side of the mountain closed probably because they didn't expect having the volume of customers to justify opening? Who knows why but still good for us... day after Xmas lines were not bad all day. We'd been bracing for crowds and were surprised at the short lines at first.(later we realized why)...Heavy powder up top and no ice the whole way down until after lunch. After lunch some ice started poking through here and there. Pretty easy mountain, nothing challenging, not overridden or over trodden with humans. Polite staff nice people. Food was terrible, and the lodge has an unrenovated 80's feel (which was kinda fun, the lodge part not the food). Pack your lunch! The fried food was soaked in oil (oil temp in the fryer was probably set too low). Bathrooms stank tremendously of piss at 9am! The lift chairs are ancient and rusty, one buddy couldn't get his safety bar to come down on the upper summit run. Overall we wouldn't go here again unless our careful assessment of snow conditions determined WV to have been blessed with the most snow and we felt like avoiding the crowds and going to a vintage mountain, and even then we'd put it's name in a hat with the other mountains near by... But who know, maybe it will be crowded when you go.
PS, we snowboard (skiing has no stoke, it's transportation), and there were lots of ski people, mostly ski people, and some ski schools blocking and slowing things down on the narrow runs.

Stayed in the town square. The rooms are nice and well kept, the little pond outside is great for a swim, the athletic center has a great gym, and there are some great hiking trails through the mountains.

For those considering a trip this weekend (MLK 2019), I d recommend going somewhere else. Three of the five main lifts (Green Mtn, Sunnyside, and High Country) are all closed for repairs. Lift lines are very long for those that are open. It does not look like Sunnyside lift has been open all year. Nice they are working on the Lodge but wouldn't it have made more sense to do that in the summer? WV should limit ticket sales with only one lift to the summit. Some great people work there but I question the decisions of upper management.

Really quality family ski resort. Also very beautiful cross country trails. Fireworks every weekend at 7 pm, which is even cooler when it's snowing at the same time. Just wish it could stay open past 3 p.m.
