Pretty fun, I take my 2 year old here a lot during the summer to beat the heat. I like the kiddie pool area but it's small and gets crowded. I would love for them to expand it there is a huge grassy area next to the pool they could add a second pool for the little ones.
Also, they NEED to add a lazy river. It would be great to have something relaxing and partly shaded to float along instead of all the full sun pools and slides.
I'm not sure if i just dont like the crowd here or if its the actual place ...but you basically have a bunch of kids with no manners running around unsupervised while their parents look at their phones.
Spend the entry fee money in gas and go to the beach.
My family enjoys or visit every time. We have seasons passes and my kids would go every day if we could.

Very good, the wave pool is a great place for swimming, it is also very large, the Great White is a great ride and the slides have no wait and (used to be) smooth. The employees are nice and will surely call out runners (employees that force obedience of rules are the best employees). There is food, changing rooms, showers for when you get out of the pool and decide to wash off the chlorine, and lockers to ensure your belongings are not stolen.
My little one dropped all of her mozzarella sticks on the ground. I asked nicely if they could please make a fresh batch and the manager told me no because if one person drops their food on the ground and is in need of another thing of food then EVERYONE will want new food. She told me I will have to come out of pocket another $5 for 5 fresh sticks again. They are mozzarella sticks NOT caviar or escargot. I was going to leave a great review about this place considering it's my 1st time here but after the food incident I wont be back ever again. White waters will get my business from now on. You're better off bringing your own food vs having to deal with inconsiderate a-holes.
Went on a Saturday, haven t been in years! Use to be my family s favorite place. We live in Florida and drive up. Visiting now I must say this place has extremely downgraded! While visiting the staff was so unbelievably rude, the lifeguards yell at other people s children, they look at you like they hate their job, can t bring your own floats, you cannot eat or have your cooler beside you while laying in chairs, my daughter had to walk on the concrete to eat her sandwich when she just wanted to sit by me and relax. I did not feel comfortable with my cooler being across the complex while I laid out in the chairs! They no longer have 2 person or 3 person floats for the great white slide, my daughter fears going by herself so she couldn t attend this ride, the mat slides were closed. And lifeguards told her she could not play in the kiddie area because she was too big she is 7! (So rude! We raise her in a Christian home, she didn t understand this kind of behavior placed by the staff, and the whole way home she complained she s too big or fat All she could do was play in the pool. Honestly you get what you pay for. Prices are cheap but this place is horrible! Gone completely downhill from the years we always use to go! Never again we will be coming here no matter the updates they do.
Should have sold us seasonal passes, we were only a day late because of just moving to Alabama and they never returned emails of previous attempts to try and purchase them online.

What a great place to spend a summer day! Took our granddaughter when she was one and she loved it. Be warned, the sidewalks are scorching hot in the middle of summer.
It's ok since there nothing else to do in Dothan that has to do with water. Oh piece of advice make sure you have bathing suit because if you don't they won't let you get in the pool or the slide, they make you buy one in there gift shop.so you can't have regular short or shirt in the pool they will take you out. Its a small place and I mean the staff is niece but not much to do there...

They've added some umbrellas for more shade which is nice, but the long slide is not working, so there's only the great white, the wave pool and the kiddie pool.
Been several times, even as a kid, made upgrades througH out the hurricane and corona virus and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!
Movie night was a splash! 1st time my 6 year old was in a wave pool and she loved it.
Nice place to cool off.... If your kids can't swim they have life vest and also tubes you can rent for two dollars well three dollars but when you return the tube they give you a dollar back.

Fun place to bring family. Can be crowded and 1 of the water slides was closed last time we went. Food is pricey but you can bring your own food/drinks which is good.
We had our 8 year old little girl's birthday party here back in May of 2017. We all had a wonderful time. We were well taken care of by the staff here and provided excellent service with big smiles! When arriving, we were well informed on how the party would unfold and guided to our party table which was decorated very nice with a personalized balloon tied to the end with our daughter's name on it. We were able to set the time for the cutting of the cake and ice cream and when that time arrived, a staff member announced over the intercom for all guests attending our party to please come to eating area for birthday cake which cut out "us parents" having to run all over the park and round up 9 little girls and boys. They did the clean up afterwards and even provided a cart to be able to load up with all gifts, accessories, and etc. To wheel to our vehicle to unload. We had a great time and highly recommend any type of big group parties here or just hanging out for the day by the pool.

It's cool since it's in Dothan and you don't have to drive anywhere. But if they add it just two more rides they would really have something. There their final ride is super scary and fun and the wave pool is nice. I like the little bobsledding as I call it right as well but then you're kind of like okay now what you know? But for the kids it keeps them busy and the price is super cheap especially on Tuesdays after 5 so it was pretty cool and you can bring in your own food
Not much to do, if it rains they dont issue rainchecks. Paid $8 and 15 minutes later my child had to leave because of weather. I hope they will expand and add more things to do for the kids.

Only water park in dothan so you know nothing fancy but it's something in a great location
They made my 5 and 10 year olds get out of the bathroom so they couldn't change from wet to dry clothes that is totally bs I mean they was gonna change and they told them they had to go what if their wife or mom started to have a baby and they told her she had to leave come on people let the kids our kids and your kids change out of their wet clothes how hard will it be to let them do that

First time at water world. It s pretty small but we loved it! It s around 20$ for two adults, you are allowed to bring in outside food and that s fantastic because their food is pretty pricey and low quality. All staff was very friendly. Loved the wave pool! It had four life Gurads watching the whole time. The slides are pretty nice too! Water was clean, whole park was clean. It has a cute little gift shoppe as well, though like most gift shops it is very $$$! But I will visit water world again!! Would have stayed until close if it wasn t for the sunburn and sleepys setting in!

Very small but affordable. I really like the fact you can bring coolers in. I brought a huge cooler with food water and soda. We will definitely be going back. The price of the season pass is not bad but with how far we are away I'm gonna pay as we go.
Took my teen swimming. I had rotator cuff surgery two years ago on my right shoulder and decided I could use the exercise to build up my arm. I went out with a float around me and the wave started. My float kept going towards the deep end like sucking me in and my right arm was slipping off the float and l grabbed the roap at the end and let the float go...but every time I tried to hang on and breathe a wave went over my head and water got up my nose. The lifeguard stopped the wave and jumped in with a float board and pulled me to safety. Thanks for saving me from drowning. I learned the hand things need to be on top of the float. Kudos to the life guards. They save all ages from drowning.

They asked about my top. I told them it's a racerback swim top. They said it's a sports bra. Actually it's a professional swimmers top. They wouldn't allow me in the water anyway. One life guard verified it was a swim top. Three others said well you cant be in the water. I have never been so disrespected after spending money for me and my family to be there. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Its run by a bunch of teenage "know it all" punk kids. 10 minutes before that my kids had 10 taken by an employee clearing off their food on the table. My son returned to the table after disposing of his trash to find a kid clearing his drink off he asked about his money and the employee stated there wasnt any money on the table. Good job for stealing from a 10 year old and not knowing about real swim wear if it's not a skimpy bikini. This place sucks.
We loved the Water Park an the New rides! Just one suggestion I would have to say is the Great White needs a float electric lifter to help the kids out for the ride. Kids had a Blast! We will for sure be back soon. Thanks Dothan for the update on the park an it looks great! #welovethegreennewslide

Wish they had more rides but still a fun place to take the family. To the people complaining about it not being kid friendly because women wear bikinis........like really people. That is so petty. I'm sure that complaint came from a woman that is insecure and can't wear one herself.
I was told I could not get into the pool without a bathing suit top on under my shirt i am plus size i told the manager that I looked for a bathing suit for about two hours and I could not find one I was in tears there was a very nice security guard she ask me if she could give me a hug she told me she understands because she is plus size also there was women In the pool without a bathing suit top on under their shirts there
Was women who had on regular shirts and shorts I went to the girl who was taking up the tickets and I told her that they needed to check the pool because there was women who was in the pool with just shorts and a shirts on no bathing suit top she told me a lifeguard would have to see it so I asked her so what you are saying is I can get into the pool until a lifeguard tells me to get out she said yes so I got into the pool with my son and a lifeguard came over to me and told to get out she told me that the manager wanted to talk to me I was very nice and respectful I got out the manager came over to me and was very rude and disrespectful to me in front of my son she was not going to let my son swim I asked her to please let my son swim I took out my phone and recording women in the pool with just regular shirts and shorts on we did not stay long after someone threw up in the wave pool it was our first time there ever and it is our last I rather go to Panama city to shipwreck island and pay 41 dollars a person than to be treated the way I was at water world I did not feel welcomed there at all

Park is very clean even when packed with people. Unfortunately there are only 3 attractions. 1 is too much for me. The others are great
Water World is a great affordable place for a family. My kids ages 5,7,8,10,12, and 15 all found something to do. I especially appreciate the fact that there are lifeguards at every pool, even the kiddie pool, closely watching and controlling any horse play. I also like the fact that there are grills and allow guests to bring their own food and drinks instead of purchasing the park food. I would reccomend this park for anyone wanting to have a great day with the family.
