Water Works Theatre Review

Amazing plush recliner seats throughout, top notch audio, love this theater.

The outside and main lobby isn't much to look at, but the seats and theaters are great. Fully reclining spacious seats with plenty of room. The theater was clean, sound and video was good, and we saw a great movie for a decent price.

Took 4 children and they loved the movie and enjoyed watching movie from the lounge chairs

If you don't get your ticket in time you end up in the front seat where you got the screen right in your face that's not good I don't know why they built chairs so far up in front of the movie theater anyway who wants to sit way up there they should never build those chairs that close to the screen it should always start from the back because sitting that close is not good for your eyes at all

Seats are very comfortable but bring a blanket it s freezing in the theaters.

Been to this movie theater a couple of times over the past few years. The reclining chairs are a great addition and really change the experience for the better.

Movie dident even play. Waited 40 mins then got our money back.

Didn't have to talk to anyone, just went to kiosk and showed my qr code.
Seats are leather recliners and comfortable.

Best value for your money. The seats are comfortable, adjustable, and well maintained (as of this writing). The screen is bright, the sound is clear and there is minimal sound from neighboring theaters. Staff is polite and friendly.

Nice clean theater with a good sound system. They have power reclining theater seats for every row. Enuff said

It's a cute cinema with friendly employees. Be careful on the discount nights, however. It is inundated with a loud influx of bad mannered ghetto denizens.

My favorite place to watch movies, not super big, assigned seating so there's no surprises, recliners and decent concession prices.

It's a generally good theater with descent seats that recline with the press of a button. But as comfortable and big as they are, they also take up a lot of space causing it to be more challenging to find a good seat. The location is a little odd and the food is expensive.(but what else is new).

Screen 2 has AWESOME seats. Roomy and perfectly reclining.

Love love love this movie theater. You may pay a few extra bucks to see a movie but it's well worth it the seats In the theater are big puffy recliners. I was so comfortable while watching my movie. I try to go here Everytime I go to the movies

Everything was nice and clean a bit small but a great place for a movie night. I saw every Monday there is Free Popcorn every Monday. But their Popcorn is cold at times so get there early and some free items as well

It's an average theater. To much people talking during the movie and people phones kept going off

This is horrible. I went to see Central Intelligence and the movie wasn't even working! The screen was all messed up.

Great theatre with a personal, familiar feel to it, not like those new theatre that feel just like hospitals. Too sterile!

Small theater, but decent prices, and lots to do within a short walking distance if you want to eat first, then watch a movie.

Be sure to call to verify start times on movies. Waterworks Cinema is part of GoldenStar. Today i checked online and it said the first showing for the movie I wanted to see was 2:20 pm. The daily paper said 10:55 am, so I called and was told the first showing was 12:00 noon. The girl told me to always check GoldenStar because the paper and the Waterworks Cinema inernet site get it wrong all the time but she did not say where they get their information from. Glad I checked or I would not have been happy to show up for 10:55 and find out i had an hour to wait.

Upgraded seating from what it used to be back in the day, huge leathet recliners. Almost too comfortable. Really impressive

I love how you're able to pick your own seats there from the screen of a tablet, and how they have recliners now.

Great theatre, fair prices, super comfy chairs, reserved seats. You can't lift up the arm rest and cuddle though. The projection could have been higher quality but it didn't distract from the film. We drove all the way from Morgantown WV to see it because they didn't have it in town. We won't do it again, but we might finish our day here the next time we visit Pittsburgh

What an improvement here since the last time I visited! I was extremely please with my visit to the movies tonight. The seats were so comfortable & I love the reclining chairs. I will definitely be coming back!

Unfortunately the movie we went to see..was sold out ..only had two available seats left.

Went for the afternoon matinee. Bought tickets online. They were $7.50 for 65 and over and $8 for under 65 yrs. old. Very easy process. Theatre was clean and seats very comfortable. They had reclining seats. Also has a disabled persons section with wheelchair accommodations. A large popcorn (to be shared by 2 people) and an Icy costs over $13.00.

I love the new renovations! Althou people were in our seats when we arrived ( took a minute or two but they did move), the free popcorn Monday and ticket prices makes it worth going every Monday!

I had a great time n the seats well go see a movie n u will know just what im talling about. It was just what the doctor ordered.

Disappointed that you no longer sell buckets of popcorn and you only get couple squirts of butter on it. Don't like the fact that it's pre made and already in bags sitting in the glass thing. Plus it doesn't really taste like movie theater popcorn. I thought I'd come here because it's close to home but I'll continue to drive out to pgh mills mall theater. Up there you get the largest popcorn in a bucket and get 1 free refill after spending all that money.

The popcorn had a peculiar flavor and made me and my husband sick. The seats are nice but the restrooms are tiny.

Popcorn was cold and stale, pop was flat. They have assigned seating which is beyond stupid. I'm already spending $11 just to sit in some unnecessarily bougie seat and then you tell me I have to sit in a specific seat too?? That is so unbelievably ridiculous. I pay to see the movie, I should be able to sit where I want. Especially since the customer service is garbage and the food isnt even warm. I used to like waterworks but now they don't even have movie deals and I'm beyond aggravated that I had to sit in a certain spot like I'm in goddamn elementary school. Definitely not going back and warning everyone not to go there

They force you to pick your seat prior to theater entry.
