Waterworks is not following any of the safety protocols for COVID-19 that they claim to on their website. On the website they said they would be designating seating to customers and did none of the such.
They claim that it is a reduced limited capacity compared to normal and that is a crock. The capacity was the exact same if not more than on any normal day. Today it was completely crowded like every other single time I have been there.
At the concession they have the box of spoons for your ice cream sitting right up front and center where you order so that every customer ordering can talk and breathe right all over the whole box of spoons and they are not even individually wrapped in plastic.
On the website they said they will be putting floating dividers or flotation devices as dividers in between customers in the lazy river and they did nothing of the such at all the lazy river was normal as it always is any other time before COVID. They are posting these things to cover themselves only but not carrying them out at all.
I ve been to waterworks many many times, we go several times every single summer and it was absolutely no different than any other time, at all! Not quite sure why they have all of those safety procedures listed on their website for no reason. I can guarantee that the capacity was full sized.
I came there with my husband and his out of state family members. I loved the lazy river, could be in there and was most of the day. The kids loved the water slides. Great close to home, inexpensive, water park for all age family fun!
Ugh...urine and random body oils.
Im just saying,you gotta know.
Employees and facility 500 gold stars.
Urine and body oils from hundreds of random people, zero stars.
Water aerobics in the lazy river. What a great way to start your day to get fit and energized.
Water works is a very nice place to go and have a great time for the whole family. Very well kept!!
cost too much and i work for the city so i should go for free 0/100
Would have gave it 5 stars but it's always to crowded
This was my second time coming here. I believe they raised the prices and you have to have an i.d. or you can't get it. I can't remember if we needed an i.d. last year. The concession stand wasn't too badly priced. $1 for a soft serve cone and $2 for a hot dog. Just over crowded a bit. There is always a lot of people and barely enough parking spaces but the park itself is great.
Our family loved it! All of our kids ages 2-10 were entertained all day!
Can t wait for it to open!
Nice family friendly getaway... tucked in the middle of a nice small community... one of the great SILVER SNEAKERS benefits , along with the aquatic center of Cuyahoga Falls.
Something for all ages in the family!!
Once you get past the extraordinary amount of morbidly obese people there then you start to notice that the place is packed and the lines are incredibly long and frustrating especially in the concession stand
I had an awesome day here with my family I love to go again
Great pools and slides on hot day. Lazy river, slides and a tube ride.
Kids and I had a great time. Will definitely be back!
I love it here I went last summer and I'm going again this summer it's so much fun theirs alot to do I don't think you could ever get bored here there's a lazy River and much more I love it here and the price is awesome not alot
While visiting family in Ohio, we went to the Water Works park. We were turned away at the entrance because we forgot to bring our IDs. Who would have thought you need an ID for a water park. I guess they do this to keep the predators out. We went home, got our IDs and came back. Even though there were a lot of people there, the park was very clean. The kids had a good time. I especially enjoyed the lazy river ride, but they had the radio playing. We got to hear lots of commercials while floating around the lazy river. Overall it was a good experience.
After paying all that money for a season pass you'd think you'd get to swim a little more and maybe the food prices won't be so insane. Most of the lifeguards act either annoyed that they have this as a job or intilted to fuss about EVERYTHING. The park closes at 8:00 pm but you have to be out of the water at ten till? Twice in early June they closed because it was 70 degrees. Passes are too expensive not to swim when I want to swim, cold or not. Very lax security and bathrooms are always disgusting. Would like to see the officer that patrols actually patrolling instead of standing in one spot looking at one person. Maybe they should extend the park some with all of the money they are making on the tickets to thin the crowd! Inspection on the slides should happen more, the slide leaks towards the bottom. Popped the back of my head on the side in the deep end so hard I felt nauseous and the lifeguards didn't care.
I swam at the pool when I was a teenager but I have been to the parks part in the back many times over the years for parties and such. Very pretty area. Plans of future parties already in the works.
Looks good on the picture, but my family was going to go monday and they were closed because school!
We always come here after the Twin Festival in Twinsburg the first weekend in August. We love it. Lots of room for the kids to play and swim. There is a concession area, cabanas are available and reasonably priced.
Bring your ID they check for sex offenders. I like that because who wants to bring their kids to a water park and possibly have someone take them into a bathroom and molest them. I applaud them for their vigilance. One of the nicer water parks for a very small sum of money.
Cant wait till it opens so much fun for me and my family.
I really wish it opened earlier.
The kids like this place overall. But at a certain time with all the people, chairs in water, toys, floats and everything people can bring in it gets way too packed. I can t believe it s not a safety issue with how packed it gets. Plus all the stuff you can t even move. The food is fine in the concession stand.
I generally pack snacks.
The bathrooms need more focus this year. You can t neglect those when the place is as busy as it gets!!
