Kaneda is very convenient and the pork cutlet here is delicious, but I think Fort Lee's Katsune is better.

I'm a Yoshinoya Nippon enthusiast and the gyudon here is dollar-for-dollar the best I've had.
Last time, I came here 3 minutes before closing. They were not accepting orders. I was so disappointed. But I checked the menu. I found cold u-dong.
It is Extremely hot today, I came here again to eat cold u-dong. They didn t serve it. Why don t they keep their time and menu??
I ordered hot U-dong. See... they didn t give me a spoon. Spoon is essential for this kind of food. I came here alone. So I had to take my plate with me to get a spoon. But u-dong was not excellent so I decided to give up the spoon.
I had a bad experience 2 times here
Food ok. But service time / order sequence needs to improve.
I had almost this same meal at ootoya in Japan but they also have it in Manhattan and it was 10 times better. I was so psyched to eat some fried oyster as its in season. However this was gross...tasted like terrible carnival food and the presentation was very disappointing. This is not up to Japanese standards at all.
Cheaper than other vendors in the markerplace and okay quality food for value. I did not like the overall service or wait time.
We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we visited this fine restaurant which we didn t know before. We had a lovely evening there with excellent meal and a courteous stuff and a distinguished chief cook. We added this fine restaurant in our phone list and we will surely come back very soon. We warmly recommend.
Very bad attitude and service. I waited in line 15 minutes and they told me they are closed when I was at the counter. After I walked away they kept receiving order from the group behind me. There s a Danny there told me that he was following the manager s order, not even any apologies. I don t know what s wrong with this store, and I ll never come to here anymore.
Came in a few days ago and ordered the karaage curry rice. Ordered right after ordering ramen next door and was pleasantly surprised to see my food come out here first.
Safety-wise verything is very well packed and there are barriers in place. There is a limited seating nearby.
The food arrived hot and tasty as pictured below. It was the perfect amount of food and the container allowed me to scoop the appropriate amount of curry over the rice and fried chicken.
Overall a lovely meal and well worth it if you are in the area!
the food was very tasty, overall waiting time wasn't too bad at all. there are at least 2 girls working there in the seating area, they were very quick to clean up the tables.
It has variety of "Teishoku ( )" here... Pretty solid taste.
Quick service, price point is reasonable. GO for the curry chicken Katsu.
Half the fun of going to Mitsuwa is just eating at the food court. There are a lot of great options but I have a weakness to Japanese curry. Their chicken Katsu with curry tasted fantastic with a sliced hard boiled egg on the side. Food court is partially open with barriers between each open table.
Liked their chicken cutlet. Nice new addition to Mitsuwa market place.
Not bad for what they serve but also not that great. Their chicken and egg with rice was decent. They do have pretty good curry. Price is ok. If the other places are busy then this is a good alternative.
Fantastic environment and very affable service. The food was fresh and delicious. Will easily recommend this restaurant to my friends. Affordable prices and big meals. Great work.
Ordered chicken and egg bowl. Took about 10 minutes to come out. Looked like three day old chicken microwaved with egg. Tasted worse. Returned to counter and told them it was terrible. They just shrugged. Wish I took a picture... What's happening to Mitsuwa? Used to be awesome, the decline is painfully apparent.
VERY VERY disappointing. Mainly because their display looked so good but the food was just average
This is one of the food vendors at Mitsuwa Marketplace. This one is located next to the windows, all the way to the right in the food court. The food court is behind the checkout lines, and it is pretty large. There are room to move around, but not so much with shopping carts or strollers. For those people with a lot to carry, it is safer to stay on the outer edges of the food court. There are good amount of seating, although it can never be enough. Especially at a popular spot, there are always people looking around, waiting for a seat to become available.
The great thing about Japanese restaurants is that many of them have a display of their dishes, made with wax. With them, you can see what the food is going to look like before you order. We ordered Fried Oyster Plate and Pork Cutlet Don.
Fried Oyster Plate came with side of rice, miso soup, pickles, salad, edamame, three dipping sauces, and an orange wedge. I think getting all of these items for under $10 was a steal! The Katsudon came with miso soup and pickles. They were both good size, we got full after the meal. It was the perfect comfort food on a weekend.
They have a free water section next to the ordering/receiving counter, so if you don't want to order a drink, you can just get some water.
Affordable, tasty Japanese comfort food, and at the same time, you can get your grocery shopping done. They are CASH ONLY so don't forget to bring some cash with you. Read my full review of the restaurant and food on my food blog, foodlovergirl.
Terrible customer service. They did not have any curry ready and said it would be 20 min. The workers were not prepared to open at 11 am for the lunch rush. We ordered a katsu rice and a udon noodle bowl. We were the first to order. 30 min later Order number 28 received their udon noodle (three bowls mind you) while we had not yet received one udon bowl. The workers excuse was our katsu dish took a long time to make. I would have appreciated being asked if I wanted to get my udon first and wait for my katsu rice bowl instead of having my whole order put on hold...while order #28 came before order #1. Terrible customer service.
