Went to see Stray Kids 3 weeks ago and it was the best night of my life. Even though I was at the back I had a great view as I was right on the incline. And as it was a sold out concert it was packed but still had some room to move around freely. A few people had to be escorted out due to lack of air. But overall best night. THE CONCERT ITSELF WAS A BIG PARTY

My 2nd favourite venue for Rock music. Going again in August to see Skunk Anansie. WoW. what a night. First a shout out to the two support actd they were both great new bands essentially the Liverpool lads. Now where have we heard that before!!! The knew how to rock. will look up the names later. But the Main Event didn't disappoint. Skin was at her best wearing a number of OOT outfits and jumped into the crowd at least four times and got carried fromyl the stage to the mixing desk. I have never seen anything like it. And wasn't dropped once nor losing her voice. Then for an encore she sang the Style Councils classic you do something to me. Only to be joined onstage by Paul Weller. OMG it was super. Not the best version you will hear as I think Skin was overcome by the reaction by the crowd. But ratings for this gig has to be an 8 out of ten. That is good in my books. I have seen hundreds of bands so do know what it takes to make a good night out. I will put videos up on YouTube. Cheers Skunk Anansie. Great night

My favourite London venue.

My favourite London venue.
Easy to get to. Easy to find. Plenty of interesting places to eat nearby before you join the queue. Fast and smooth entry. Helpful and efficient security. Lovely character in the building itself. Always a wonderful atmosphere. Plus the sloped floor means you can pretty much always see the stage.
The only negatives; it's often pretty chilly inside and there's always a queue for the loo.

A good music venue with great acoustics and a fantastic sloping floor so everyone gets a good view, the staff are also really friendly. Unfortunately though, the drinks selection is really poor.

Love the venue. The look and feel of the place adds to the performance on stage. Brixton is easy to get to, with good tube, rail and bus service. There is also plenty of places to eat and drink before the concert.

The layout and seating puts many popular and expensive venues to shame! Staff were helpful and friendly, getting in was easy and well organised. Sound and lighting were good too. Shame the seats were a bit old.

One of the best sound systems in venues. A bit dated, but this is what makes it different to other competitors. Only problem, maybe the over sold out events. Difficult to enjoy gigs when you stand on the back...

I have been going to this venue for years. It is an ironic building with character. I have always enjoyed it. However, the security staffs there tonight were very rude and mean. It completely putted my off from seeing the performance. I would not go to any concert if it is holding there anymore.

There was a really long queue for the Bowling For Soup convert, but as I am on the O2 network, I could skip the queue and go straight to the front.

The venue has multiple bars and has a sloped door so the view is good from anywhere on the ground floor (standing). The sound system was loud and clear too. Toilets were clean (for a concert).

Overall it is a good "intimate" concert hall.

Great venue for events, the floor is sloped so you generally get a good view. Drinks are what you would expect from London. Queues are sometimes stupid and they don't ever do o2 priority entry which is a shame. Also there is only one exit which is a bit nuts when everyone is trying to leave at the same time. But overall it's a great venue!

Absolutely love this sticky floored venue. With it's sloped floor everyone is guaranteed a good view unless you unfortunately get stuck behind someone that is 6" plus. Some seats upstairs downstairs is standing. Toilets are horrible. Saw Alabama 3 here recently. The band were great my only concern was the amount of obvious drug taking and smoking within the venue which no staff member seemed to be too bothered about. Drinks were expensive...even soft ones but this is common now in all venues.

This space has a decent PA system and acoustics. Not too many thrills in the backstage area and after party vibe in the bar, but the green room area have pool and private mini bar with screens and comfy sofas.

I was here to see my boys, Young Fathers and their sound is pretty full on. This venue handled them very well.

The ground is slanted, as it should be at these types of venues so those standing at the back at least have a better chance of seeing what's going on. The stage is also set at a good height.

Would recommend this space to go and hear live music. Not my favourite venue, but it's not half bad

Great atmosphere. One of the most important live venues in London historically. Acoustics and sound quality are generally quite average, so expect lots of distortion, bad medium frequencies and lack of definition. It makes up for it in ambience and band portfolio.

It's a lovely big theatre for performances n Art. Went there for a comedy show and even sitting in the gallery upstairs, I had a perfectly great view of the stage despite people in front of me.
Location has a great bus network just outside and the Victoria line is less than 7 mins walk away.
Before or after a show, there are bars around the academy n if u fancy street food, Afro-carribean chicken sold just outside the doors of the academy.
I had a great time there.
