Waraku Restaurant Review

This place has fantastic sushi at a great price. Try the peanut and avocado roll. You won t be sorry! They take a little longer than they estimate to make the sushi, but it s worth the wait.

Takeout experience was great! We only received one pack of soy sauce for our order of sashimi and sushi, so make sure to ask for more. Sashimi was cheap, fresh, and thick pieces. My partner says the belly pork ramen was okay, but I thought it was great especially as a comfort food.

This spot offers first-rate service and yummy meals. One of my favourite restaurants ever. The food and drinks arrived rapidly and the rates were fair. Recommended.

I admire this place! They serve splendid dishes, their menu is rich, The chief cook in that spot is a specialist, I enjoy very much eating all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high qualtity, the attitude towards the customers is efficient. I often go to this place and I not even once was unsatisfied. I highly recommend it.

One of my favorite local restaurants to get sushi from! I normally order sushi from Waraku 2-4 times a month and have never been disappointed. The sushi is normally fresh with generous portion sizes so me and my boyfriend are always satisfied after getting take out (and dining in pre-COVID) from here. The restaurant is family run and unfortunately had to downsize their staff due to COVID. With COVID there's been a bit of a wait time sometimes getting food ready but they work hard to make up for it! Can't wait to dine in with them post-pandemic.

The food is always fresh and delicious. Never had a bad meal. Love the sushi and the clear soup. You can't go wrong and they are reasonably prices.

This place is owned by the most humble family and is a local business that has been impacted by COVID. The owner/sushi chef is so sweet and grateful to his patreons and you can tell he truly has a passion for what he does.

The sushi and sashimi is made with quality fish and the sushi chef does an amazing job with visual presentation.

I usually grab sushi and it's usually pretty good. However, for the first time I decided to venture off and try out the thai curry with shrimp. What a horrible mistake. Where to start? First off, this meal should be called large chunks of cucumber and onions with thai seasoning. There was absolutely bare minimum curry sauce in there. I literally thought my driver had spilled it or the order was wrong. Probably about 10 percent of the container had sauce in it. It literally couldn't cover the other ingredients in the container. Second, the vegetables were chopped very poorly, if at all. These cucumbers were the size of dry board erasers. Finally, the sauce itself did have a decent flavor but was quite watery. I don't know what happened Waraku but I will never order off my usual menu again. You won't have to worry about it though, I was so turned off by the meal I'll be taking a break from your restaurant for while. I'll happily walk right past to Pho Saigon.

Decided to try this restaurant after growing tired of other local places, and I was thoroughly impressed.

We ordered the chicken katsu and some hand rolls - both were fantastic! The katsu arrived crispy, which is a feat in itself as most such dishes typically get soggy during transport from the steam. The handroll tasted fresh and was beautifully crafted by the Sushi chef. Included were some miso soups and salads, and everything had flavor with portions that were quite generous.

I look forward to ordering from here again in the future!
