The team at Wangard is responsive and prompt when addressing tenant requests and work orders. I can count on them to communicate when a problem will be fixed!

If I could give zero stars I would. The landlord are incompetent fools who will do nothing to assist you and squeeze every last dollar out of you with fees and rules. STAY FAR AWAY!!

Wangard has been an excellent company to work with. Everyone within the company has been extremely professional and has compassion towards the residents at their communities. It has been a pleasure working with them as I first moved to Milwaukee.

I am so disappointed in the way Wanguard handled our lease renewal during the pandemic. We expressed to our leasing office that we were unsure of our income and they continued to increase our rent with the same deal they gave all other residents before COVID. After filing for unemployment, we still were pressured into resigning our lease two months before our first lease expired. We barely heard from the leasing office regarding measures they were taking to help prevent the spread of the disease in our building. They never discussed reimbursement of accommodation fees that are factored into our rent even though we are unable to use these accommodations at this time.
After discussing with many other Milwaukee residents, I was surprised to hear that Wanguard is alone in treating their residents this way. Made me even more upset!

I can t express enough how much I appreciate how our teams have partnered together during the very trying times the coronavirus has given our industry the past few months. I am so grateful and proud of individuals who found strength in each other to lead the industry and support our tenants and clients as resources providing creative solutions to enhance and continue their business operations as close to normal as possible. Great job!

The common areas are clean and well lit. Wangard has taken many steps to protect their tenants through increased cleaning and disinfecting processes as well as appropriate signage. There are multiple hand sanitizer dispensers located in common areas which is greatly appreciated. I feel very safe in the building.

They are not receptive to practices who serve a mental health population (e.g. for depression and anxiety). They took forever to get back and kept asking if we were going to be catering to substance use, how high risk the population was, etc. It is clear this company is poorly informed and very stigmatizing to this vulnerable population. Empirical data shows patients are more likely to be victimized rather than predatory. They were also not up front about costs at all.

A company that publicly opposes face masks during a time of a deadly pandemic is not one I will support.

Since I began working for Wangard, I have been incredibly impressed with the professionalism of the teams within, as well as how diligent, experienced, and disciplined each member is within their role. Since the Pandemic hit, the company has been incredible in maintaining a high bar for social responsibility, ensuring the well being and health of partners, investors, and employees are always paramount. This is a company I am proud to work for.

Get better management at the apartments! Unprofessional and unresponsive staff! Staff at Wangard do nothing and only care about money. As someone who recently moved to a nearby apartment after living there, I can tell you there are better options out there in Milwaukee!
