This clg is an average clg .. Teaching is ok -ok types .But few branches r really good with good placements..If u want to join the clg ..CS ,IS and EC should be ur only choice ..It's waste taking any other circuit branch here ..To COMED k guys ..pls don't waste ur 2.5 lakhs per year for any non -circuit branch in this clg. U will regret .. Talking about Mechanical branch in personal .. Only few teachers r good who may also leave the campus soon ..Most of the new faculty lack skills and knowledge required for the subject..Few just do copy paste work ... Learning is very less ..No exposure, outdated machines and softwares is all they have ... Placements for core companies is also very less...The only good thing is the people and the city itself...It's such an beautiful place to live with amazing people all round...No outsider will find trouble being at this place ...This place is a gift

It's a scam college. They make money out of students. I had never seen such a business minded college ever in my life. Getting cheated being educated is the worst feel for me. My sister got scholarship and they have deducted money saying management have raised the fees. I still don't know when we have paid fees and have applied scholarship who gave them rights to take money without letting us know. ?

Had a bad canteen you experience. I got a screwdriver in my fried rice. Students are arrogant, indecent and very disobedient.

The SJCE campus has to be one of the greenest campuses in Mysore and is within the University of Mysore (Manasa Gangotri) premises. The atmosphere is calm and the labs are well-equipped. Although I don't know much about the teaching faculty here (as I had been here only for an interview) but looking at the infrastructure and students, I can say that it's one of the best engineering colleges in the city.

Still a green and pleasant place as always. Covid update- temperature check at main gate, sanitisers at some building entrance and masks work by most staff. Most departments are still functioning per norm.
