How is this woman a doctor I have no idea!!! I go in today after being in the ER for a migraine over the weekend. Wang will not let me speak. She starts riddling off what our last appointment was about 10 years ago. I tell her I have new symptoms and when she is ready I can let her know. I tell her about the facial twitching I have been having and wanted to proceed to tell the other symptoms. She cuts me off saying she only has 20mins and needed a longer appointment. I said I have more symptoms that have lead me to today and your not letting me speak. She said you want twitching to stop I can give you something to make stop. She just wanted to write me off. After I caused a scene the office manager calls me in saying my only choice is to see Wang again in a few hours. NO I am not seeing this woman that wouldn't listen and now we have a bad relationship. The office manager was blaming the office staff of course to cover for the doctors behavior. When Wangs behavior was clear. Bad bedside manner , in a rush and not interested on a difficult case. Its doctor Wang job to see how bad I am feeling and take her time with me at that point. If I could give her 1/2 a star i would. The office staff girls had better bedside manner then Wang and quite frankly better then the office manager as well. Wang was going to let me leave with a persription for facial twitching and still be left with head pain. Shame on you Wang and this isn't her 1st bad review. Was 20 mins enough for my appointment 100% if I could have spoken and Wang come up with treatment plan.
Dr Wang has saved me from a world of literal pain. She is a thoughtful compassionate doctor who does her work thoroughly. Her bedside manner is not warm and cuddly but she is efficient. And she is relentless for her patients with insurance companies and looking for the right fit of medication. Unlike every other doctor outside Mount Auburn, she has also not felt the need to make any comments about my life that aren t medically relevant which other doctors often fee (eg. If you have chronic illness apparently if you do anything w your life that can cause stress, it s your fault).
The previous reviewer, while referencing other vague bad reviews that don t exist, sounds like they may not have needed a neurologist but instead perhaps a psychologist to chat with.
