Walls Alive Review

I've been sanding and refinishing some old hardwood floors over the past month or so and the staff at Walls Alive have been so helpful answering all my questions.

From helping me choose the right stain and polyurathane to making sure I understood each step to creating beautiful floors, they offered suggestions and advice along the way. I am really grateful!

Hands down some of the best customer service I've ever had. They provided quick service with great pricing and made sure all our equipment was working perfectly. Couldn't be happier!

Very knowledgeable staff. Had questions about stains and they had technical information which they relayed in a way we could understand. Also tested some wood we had brought in for us. Parking is free. It is technically wheelchair accessible but the grade into the store is quite steep. Many samples of Wall coverings. Looks to be many options for paint sprayers. Will do paint match for many situations.

Adam was super knowledgeable again. They have much more selection than standard wall paint. They walked me through every process of my epoxy floor for my garage, the product was amazing. They've always helped me with choosing paints and supplies. Great local company!

Staff was very friendly and they answered every question I had. They were able to help me find exactly what I needed based on my project. The price was great too. This has become my "go to" store for anything paint related. The also have free popcorn and slushies! Which I'm told in the winter becomes coffee. Go here and you won't be disappointed.

This is such a great place!! You can tell it's a family owned business by all the heart and soul they put into their interactions with you. Their show room is huge with tons of products. Plus they have a shop in the back to do your custom colour mixes. I've used them for many projects over the years. Everything from painting an entire house, to re-staining an old table, and they repeatedly gave me personalized service. You get exactly what you need plus a ton of confidence, since they go out of their way to offer you expert guidance.

Great place for paint and supplies, Dave's a helpful wizard when it comes to paint.

The staff are very knowledgeable. The wallpaper we chose was a Scott Living product. We got alot of help in choosing the right wallpaper and I love the pattern except that the edge of each section of the wallpaper faded out, so when it was applied you can see what looks like a seam, but it isn't. It's because a very small vertical length of the colour on one edge isn't as vivid as the rest. We did hang it properly and lined everything up properly. Wallpaper should be the same from edge to edge. It isn't Walls Alive's fault at all, but I wouldn't recommend this product just because of the small faded space on each roll. Now our feature wall looks like a wallpaper job gone wrong. It's too bad you can't order wall paper as wide as the wall you want to put it on.

Since I originally posted this review, we approached Walls Alive to let them know our issue with the wallpaper. They contacted their distributor and we were offered either new wallpaper at no charge, or a refund for the wallpaper. We didn't want to remove the wallpaper yet, so we chose to get a refund. We are very satisfied with Walls Alive's customer service. They had our backs. We'll be back.

Can t thank Jenna enough for her helpfulness, patience and guidance! We undertook a massive paint project as complete novices and couldn t have done it without her! Walls Alive also has a wonderful selection of paints and great tools for all your painting needs.

This place is awesome! My Mom and I went this morning and I couldn't believe the selection of wallpaper! They have tons of books and a large table so you can sit and look for hours! The staff are also super friendly and helpful! I highly recommend!

They are a family owned business and it shows by their exceptional service. Very professional but friendly, and their knowledge base is great. I have learned the hard way that not all paints are created equal. I swear by the C2 LUX paint. Trust me if you want quality paint and great prices come here. Dont waste your time at generic paint stores.

These guys are the BEST!!!!I really needed a color match so my husband would not be mad about me putting up decorations and kinda mucking up the wall and these guys not only got me the perfect match but got it too me fast,my husband never even noticed,lol,They also helped me pick out and had everything I needed to fix the wall and prices were very good,I will only shop here for any wallpaper ,paint ect because the service was outstanding!!Thanx guys

I'm a busy mom of 3 small children, feeling slightly overwhelmed with the build of our new house, and 'Walls Alive' went ABOVE AND BEYOND for meeting our painting needs!! They stayed open later to help me finish my order, worked with me to get the right paint colours that weren't just 'good', but 'great', and my kids stayed entertained by their touch screens the whole time. (Bonus for all you moms out there with busy kids! Plus they might take home some new interior decorating tips on the side... ) I only wish I had come here first instead of messing around with Benjamin Moore and some other paint stores. Hands down my best 'paint' experience. Next time we're coming here!
