Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah Review

Nothing to compare this to..... By far the most exquisite public areas of any hotel I've ever seen. Good prices at the world class restaurants restaurants $70 for amazing buffet at Qasr Al Bahar and around the same price for sumptuous prix fixe 4-course with glass of wine included. Pretty amazing!!!

This hotel is one of luxurious place, classy and very comfortable for the price offered. The amenities are complete. There are swimming pool in saveral locationswith the appropriate theme. The waiters are very friendly and helpful.

The service was the best ever. All the staff was extremely helpful and eager to please. Plenty of complimentary food, plus our little one's food was all for free. We asked for a late checkout, not only did they have no issue with that, they also came to the room and made sure we had enough toiletries to have our shower before leaving. Excellent service. All about the little details...

The hotel is very special and has a private beach and the rooms are wonderful and distinctive decor. The reception service was cooperative with us as we were allowed to enter the room early and it was ready, very clean and sterile. The hotel s location is special.

It's Awesome place and beautiful building and hot beach

The hotel offers excellent comfort, rooms are large and spacious and well equipped.
Unfortunately, no German channel can be received on TV, so no information from Germany.
The hotel beach is spacious, but consists of shell limestone, flip-flops are recommended.
Recommended for a relaxing holiday.

Went to Lexington Grill for dinner and it was lovely. Enjoyed our drinks, mains and Lexington Sundae for dessert

5 star hotel in RAK. Great breakfast. Surrounding a bit deserted. Good deals in the hotel bar, shisha on the balcony. Limited TV channels. Towells for free at pool and beach.

Luxury hotel man is out of wonder no more out such a huge lobby and the expansive hallways. 2 tempering pool.s. Modern loungers on the beach and pool. Free water on the beach. Staff friendly and helpful. Food rich and dainty.

Fantastic place even for just one day, all perfect in a welcoming and relaxing place. If possible, I would like to point out Andrea Messina from the restaurant of the swimming pools ... without mincing words, listen to him and he will know how to make you spend the perfect days. Beautiful luxurious hotel, very nice and helpful staff, big, clean rooms, amazing design. There's something for everyone, be it activities or just a quiet place to relax, one can definitely find his perfect spot.

It's a 5-star hotel for a thousand different reasons. If you're a Hilton Honors member, make sure to book directly with hotel to earn points. Online services will not earn points.

Amazing hotel with stunning beach and great rooms. The pool is great with amazing cabanas that offer both a nice shade and great views.
I guess due to the covid pandemic only minimal staffing is currently present, otherwise the (lack of) service is hard to explain. After arriving at the lobby, it took 5 minutes before someone showed up (there was a sign that valet service is suspended and that the concierge will show us where to park); Check in was slow despite a lack of queue; I ordered a cappuccino which never came; the pizza came with a salad mix instead of rucola, no burrata, and powder instead of shaved parmesan; salad came without dried cranberries; salad came without artichokes; no jam or butter on the breakfast table; the list goes on.
To be fair, when we complained about the pizza, the restaurant manager gave us all a free desert which was delicious.

Overall I give this hotel three stars because I had very high expectations due to the brand name. But after all, I guess, you get what you pay for, and we got a very good price.

-Valet service: quick and personnel were very friendly. However, our last day the car was patked outside under the sun for dome reason an when we got the car back it was extremely hot.
-Bathroom: designed nicely and large. However, one of the sinks was clogged before we checked in. The shower is great.

I would recommend it to family and friends.

I ordered a room with balcany only to receive one with out. Bath water was dirty. In room phone did not work. Wifi was slow. Mini bar was empty. After complaining they said I will give you the room you originally ordered this was 30 minutes ago I'm still waiting. Expected better considering the price.

A great place to stay even for short breaks. It's a haven away from the busyness of the city. The place itself is very tranquil and the place itself has options and amenities that will make your stay a very pleasurable one. Staff are very accommodating and friendly and the room we stayed at was top notch and a true value for money.

One of the best resorts I have visited in the UAE. Beautiful rooms, great big pool, wonderful staff and very convenient location. There is a mall right next to the hotel with supermarkets, restaurants and pharmacies. Everything you might need.

A very dirty hotel (the area around the pool in a tile that is neither washed nor swept, it has dust, dirt, stains from bird droppings, drinks, food, etc.), the pool bar for 3 days was used bottles, glasses and etc. and nobody cared (the bartender said the bar was closed and left), on the ground under the bushes there were used ashtray and dishes for several days - this also did not bother anyone: neither the janitor, nor the management. The rooms are also dirty (spots on the carpet, on a table lamp, on chairs). Breakfast is terrible in terms of quality and service (they never brought what they ordered without errors, everyone forgot or brought too much). The rooms have only one detergent (this is for 3 people and a bath and shower). At night, the music was screaming, they called the reception, but nothing changed. Instead of the sea - a fenced paddling pool where there is no swimming at all. There is only 1 lifeguard for the entire pool (instead of three). The restaurant refused to make a reservation for dinner (the rules are), but the next day they made other guests. The hotel did not respond to the complaint, did not change anything, did not apologize for anything. In Waldorf, Astoria is no longer a foot, neither in this, nor in other hotels of the chain. This is a maximum of 4 *. Maybe inexperienced tourists on package tours are suitable, but for those who relax in good hotels - absolutely not.

Service much worse than in comparable hotels, relatively small pool, bad service on the beach - we are in the region much better used!

Unfortunately not worth 6 stars. Pool was green, in our suite were leftovers from the previous guest (note, plastic). Food was better on the second day.

Very elegant and beautiful place. Good place for relaxation with a nice spa and 2 kinds of pools. Cabanas, umbrellas and the high amount of palm trees are offering a good option for guests trying to avoid the heat of the sun. A lot of options for food, in all different kind of restaurants on the property and nearby. Water sports/activities are available on the beach. Rooms are clean. Food is very good. Staff is kind and friendly.
