I'll admit as much as my husband and I both enjoy cooking, we have found ourselves ordering takeout on a more frequent basis. Part of it is to support our favorite local restaurants & honestly sometimes after a very, very long day, it's just easier.

Most times we will just go and pick up our food, but yesterday it was A DAY! It was almost 6pm, both still knee deep in work, & most importantly HUNGRY! Neither of us could take step away from our respective monitors, so we took a chance and ordered Bartaco (Hello Taco Tuesday!) to be delivered from Waiter Wheels. Their tag line "CT Local Restaurants Delivered" definitely lived up to our expectations.

From the time our order was placed to when our food was delivered, I was able to track our order through their app. I also received 2 texts from both Waiter Wheels and our driver. The 1st was to let me know that the order was taking a bit longer than expected and the 2nd came from our driver who asked if we had any special (contact less) delivery instructions (we did). This is definitely something I have never experienced from any of the *cough* other food delivery companies.

After a long day everything hit the spot and the best part (besides the food) - no dishes!

I definately had a great experience and will use this new to me local business more in the future.

As a restaurant owner I take great pride in our product and customer service, so finding the right delivery company to partner with was challenging. We started a business relationship with Waiter Wheels 10 years ago and could not be more satisfied. They take great care in delivering our pizzas and their staff are always attentive and professional. I highly recommend giving Waiter Wheels a call and keeping it local!

I have used them for years. They had this mediocre dispatcher/manager/co-owner named "Jason." He never understood customer service. He objected to me saying that their service sucked. Ordered a pizza from Harry's pizza and arrived limp and cold. Someone better assess the good of the franchise. I am going to start calling their restaurants. We site is down by the way. What's new....

I placed a large order for a corporate function that we were having and Waiter Wheels came to the rescue. The food arrive hot, on time and as specified. Will definitely be using Waiter Wheels for our next function.

I placed my first order using Waiter Wheels a couple of days ago and I was very happy with my experience. The pizza that we ordered arrived timely and was just as hot as if it would have been served to us in the restaurant. I love that they have an option for a no contact delivery! Also, the driver even texted me a about five minutes before arrival to see if we had any special instructions which I thought was a very nice touch that I haven t seen before with other delivery services. We will definitely be using Waiter Wheels again for our food delivery.

TERRIFYINGLY HORRIBLE SERVICE
The customer service number on the website will not answer my calls, the number that called my cell phone after I called the first time that the food was late will my answer my calls and my food was over an hour and a half late. The woman I spoke to called Plan B liars for telling me that my food was ready and waiting for me. Amy, the girl who brought my food had nothing to say about the fact that I called the restaurant and they told me my food was picked up far before It was delivered to me. She said her supervisor is DJ and that is the person who will not respond to my calls. My food is not just not warm but is very cold and now tastes bad. I will be leaving reviews of your service everywhere online and deterring future customers from using your delivery service. I demand a response and a refund. I will be telling all my friends about this horrible experience and will never use your services again. You should be ashamed to call yourself a business.

Great service with the best selection of my favorite restaurants!! Highly recommend this service to anyone looking for quality food delivery options that aren t available anywhere else...and at a fair price!!

Be aware of their up charges. I placed an order with them over the phone, never got a total (probably my fault for not asking) and when I checked my bank statement, I was shock to see how much I paid extra for delivery. I can understand about delivery charge because service needs to make money, I can understand that I tipped the driver $10 on a $40 order because they need to make money too, but I do not understand why did they up charge the menu. When called to complain they told me that it says on their website that prices are up charged. Now why will I go on the website if I am calling to place an order. Their customer service was terrible too. Some manager name DJ wouldn't even give me a better explanation other than "Go and check our website" Too bad, its a great idea but probably in wrong hands. A smart business person would have figured out a better way of making money then robing people blindly.

I had an office party and Waiter Wheels delivered the food for the party on time and with no issues. The order was correct and the driver was polite and efficient. Would definitely use them again for any office meal or for food at home too. Great job!

Great service! I ordered a large dinner when friends were visiting and received it within the hour. It arrived hot and nothing was missing. My friends were impressed to get the expereince of dining out while staying in the comfort of my home. I would use this service again.

A great way to place orders at restaurants that generally do not deliver. Independent owned and is a partner to restaurants vs some of the other delivery services.

I ve ordered a few great meals using Waiter Wheels, and they were delivered on time without any issues. The drivers texted/called once they made it to my home. So far, it has been an easy and consistently good experience.

I placed my first order using Waiter Wheels and I was highly satisfied as they make ordering a meal easy and fun. I placed my order by 3:00 pm and estimated delivery time was 3:55 pm. I was surprised that my meal arrived even quicker than the estimated delivery time. After typing my address, Waiter Wheels located local restaurants for food delivery. An awesome added feature was being able to keep track of the food being accepted by the restaurant, informing you of the meal being prepared, and then letting you know that your meal is on its way from my account. I also liked that the driver was in constant communication with me informing me that he was at the restaurant waiting for my food as well as texting me that he was in route with my food. Above all, the driver was very courteous and professional. Awesome service with no contact delivery! Would highly recommend using Waiter Wheels. We had a terrible experience. Our food was supposed to be delivered at 7:30. After several phone calls, it left the restaurant at 8:30 and was delivered to our house, which is 10 min away, at 9:15. We will not be ordering from them again.

Waiter Wheels is a borderline scam. We placed an order for Barcelona delivery. They accepted the order, provided a delivery time, charged our card, provided fake updates on our delivery time then sent a text 10 mins after the due time that Barcelona was unable to fulfill our order. We called Barcelona and they had no idea what we were talking about. Do not use this company.

I work in a town with very few good food options so I decided to try something new and order from the town over with this service. I didn't mind the extra money because they do need to pay staff and gas. I was given an estimate of about 1 hour, seemed reasonable. I waited about 1 hour 45 min before I called to check on my order, the restaurant stated they made that meal over an hour ago so I called Waiter Wheels, the women that picked up told me they had a staff member quit, tonight was extra busy, the restaurants were extra slow etc. I told her I understood but that I didn't want a cold meal but she told me the driver was "right around the corner" so I waited another 10-15 min before the driver showed up. When the driver handed me the food, she complained to me about how she had to drive from her home 2 towns over to go to New Haven to pick up my food and then bring it to where I was. Um I thought that was your job? And I don't set your delivery routes sorry?..so yea most likely not a service I would use again. Also the food was cold, it was nearly $40 of cold gourmet food, it was shame.

They need better staff its a buffet not rocket science n wasnt impressed w their food either thumbs down

We had a large event and needed 40 meals spread across a 25 mile radius delivered within an hour. They did a fantastic job and were so easy to work with. Thank you!!!

Love using waiter wheels for my food fixes. They have a huge selection of restaurants. Never had an issue.

WaiterWheels is awesome when I don t have the energy to make or even think of what s for dinner. There are so many options! We used them this week and ordered burger salads from Plan B - soooo good! The tots even stayed crispy too!

Literally one of the worst experiences with delivery I have ever had. 30 minutes on the phone trying to guide him trying to help him find an entrance that had clear signs and was apart of a complex in a *loop*. Was stubborn and rude on the phone. Will absolutely never be doing this again.
