I want to first and foremost say , that I created a google account for this review. Second, this is a long time coming because I was only recently reminded of it.
I own a house near Cannon Beach, and I was introduced to Alec doing a service at one of my neighbor's homes about a month or two ago. After a brief conversation with him, I asked if he would be willing to come by my house and do an inspection because I have been having the hardest time with mice (turned out to be rats!). He was very kind, and said that if I gave him an hour he would be by because he had another appointment. An hour later, and there he was at my front door! He took a look around my house and as I said, what I thought was a mouse problem turned out to be rats! He showed me a few things that I could do to seal out any rodents from getting inside, and then gave me a few options for what his company could do to help the problem. What surprised me the most, was that he even gave me options that I could do myself! I have never met a sales person before that wasn't adamant about selling me a service, and that's what I was so appreciative about him! Even more so, when I asked him to send me a bill for his time, he held up his hand and said, "don't sweat it. Just happy to help ya out".
It has been about a month now, and after following his recommendations (which he so graciously wrote down) I haven't had a problem yet! It's comforting to know that there is a local company here that I can trust and rely on. I will be sure to call if I ever have a problem in the future!

Second time they came thru same people just new name would not rehire
I emailed A&A about a rodent problem at my rental unit. I was headed out of town and emailed them after hours asking if they would contact my tenant to setup a time to stop by. I wasn't able to speak to them on the phone because I was out of service so I was worried there would be some confusion but when I got back to town I received a voicemail from their technician saying that he had been to the property and investigated the problem. He told me that there were just some entry access points that needed to be plugged and provided a rodent trap free of charge. He said that should solve the problem and there were no further charges. If I have any further pest issues I'll definitely be calling A&A and I'll be glad to pay for their services in the future.
Worst service ever! Got threatened to go to court?! Is this how you run a business? They said the did tge pesticides. On the same day came home to still see Ants still running around... Gave them a call, left them a voicemail. Now they say they never received any voicemail. Gave me a bad additude about everything! Asked them what is their plan to resolve the pest problem. She beated around the bush. Saying I needed to make the first payment? Didnt answer my question. How am I suppose to pay you. If I don't know what is going on. I am Super Mad! Im a customer not your enemy!
This is such a great business. A huge asset to our business, they are so professional and knowledgeable. My pest guy, Alec, is flexible with his time, and always gives me plenty of notice before he comes out for our monthly inspection. He is always punctual and usually full of helpful information and tips. He is thorough and always explains his findings.
These people have a great team! Call them for pest control needs!
I recommend this company. Jeff, the technician who performs service at our residence is very professional and courteous. He is very respectful of our property. The plan he initiated to control sugar ants at our place is working very well. Thank you Jeff.
I recently started using A&A Pest Control as I was unsatisfied with a previous Pest Control company. Within a couple of weeks A&A Pest Control successfully handled my ant problem. Alec, working at their Astoria locations is a super friendly person, he calls 1 days prior to the treatment date, arrives on time. During renovation in our newly purchased home a rat must of snuck inside! Caused quite a bit of trouble in the house keeping us up at night and eventually making his way into our living room before nesting in the bottom of our fridge. A&A Assigned Russell to our account and we were SO happy they did. Russell was incredibly knowledgeable about rodent prevention and set traps around our home. We caught the pesky rat in less than two weeks and can now sleep soundly. Thank you, Russell! :)
At my home we had a rather large wasp hive in Astoria. A&A responded immediately and addressed the issue. Jed was professional and incredibly knowledgeable. He took care of it and put our minds at ease! Another example of this company s professionalism, Jed s supervisor showed up, just to say hello and make sure everyone was ok! Now that s professionalism and standards! These people really do care and I will care too when calling them back if I need them! Thank you! Oh! And the price was very reasonable!

Jorge, our technician was great, very knowledgeable, careful and encouraging. He clearly enjoys helping folks and see his job as an enjoyable challenge. (I am glad someone loves doing this!) Turned out we had 7 rats in our overstuffed basement! Took several weeks to catch all the smart ones, but I appreciated that I could get just the services I needed, without a contract, and try trapping, not bait first. Other company wanted to bait first, and charge me a contract of $800. Would highly recommend to anyone.
