Great hotel. The room seemed like it was very clean. Easy access to Waikiki Beach.

Fantastic restaurant great location. Business and familys. Great view
Hidden prices that is in fine print if you book on line. Paid on line then charged an extra $90 a night plus fees plus extra $40 for parking. Crazy! Will never stay again. Pool is very nice rooms are nice but oridinary for over $900 for two nights. Breakfast not even included.
Very close to the Waikiki beach. A 2 minute walk. I was Marriott elite member so got upgraded to sea view room it had an amazing view of the sea and diamond Head crater. However the bed in my room felt smaller and old (even though they list it as a king size bed). There is bus stop right outside. There is enterprise, budget car rental offices in the building and a moped/bike rental right outside. A short walk to Duke's point and many good restaurants. If you are vegetarian you can find a lot of options around here. There are some farmer's market couple of days a week where you can get a lot of handicraft stuff and locally grown fruits and coffee. All in all a great experience.
Ate an Sansei, our favorite restaurant. Awesome as always.
Excellent location on Waikiki Beach. All the quality you would expect from a Marriott Resort. Great balcony views from the beach side tower.
This is by far my favorite hotel when I come to Hawaii. The breakfast buffet is excellent and is usually the highlight of my trips. Its got a great location as it is across from the beach, plenty of dining choices near by. I haven't had the steakhouse, but the sushi restaurant is excellent. Room attendants are very friendly and accommodating. Lots of room in your rooms. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.
Misleading online description of rooms. Not located on the beach.
Best deal on Waikiki Beach. Always crowded so book in advance. Conveniently located, friendly staff
One of the most upscale hotels in Honolulu. Great view of the ocean. Rooms are in the upper $200 range. A good hotel. one can not be disappointed.
Cool place, the pool is small. But who needs that when you have mutiple beaches to visit.
I loved the view from my room and the beach being right opposite the road was killer. The wide variety of restaurants and coffee shops inside the resort makes it very comfortable . Cleanliness and upkeep is also good.Staff is courteous and friendly
I got a free room upgrade. The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Hawaii Five-O was filming a scene for the first episode of the upcoming season in the lobby. Free WiFi.
Went for dinner with some friends, was not disappointed!
Great location, extremely helpful staff, and the amenities are superb. This is the place to stay on Waikiki, unless you're able to stay at the Hale Koa.
Kalehua checking in and checking out we were impressed with her kindness and friendliness Big Smile, also we shopped at Kuai market
Hai wa Impelido and Marilou were so nice and kind, thank you for a your friendly staff
Outstanding rooms, everything clean. Good customer service. (Only the parking is to high $40.00 per day ). To much.
Great room with a view, great perks for being a Marriott member
We stayed here for the first leg of our honeymoon. Im laid back and fairly easy to please but the stay was just average. Upon checkin we were met by a new employee who had a bit of trouble getting us together. No problem, everyone is new at some point. Our room 3261 was nice....until night time when we realized it backs up to the elevator shaft so it sounds like a small plane is zooming by. For the first time in my life, I asked to switch rooms. Just our luck, our second room - 3067 - had an AC issue so it was running VERY loudly but we dealt with it. Our new gal forgot to program our keys to the garage so we had to visit the front desk again. The buffet breakfast is great - the first two days our waitress could not find our "free" included breakfast in the computer and had to call the front desk to figure it out . The breakfast is very pricey at $35 per person. When I booked I was told about the high parking fee ($32/day) but not about the 'resort fee' of another $30/day. When I'm already paying a hefty price for a room, a resort fee is pretty ridiculous. All of the staff were very friendly. The pool restaurant/bar had some really good food which was decently priced for large shareable sized plates. The beach is super close and there is shopping available in the hotel.
I have to say that this place is just meh. Having stayed at many hotels over 100 nights per year every year, I can say that this is a very standard Marriott hotel. Whatever you see at any other Marriott you should expect the same thing here. Nothing fancy. But they do have a hefty resort fee which is bad. The resort fee includes only 1 breakfast buffet so if you have multiple people you are kinda forced to do the buffet which is very expensive. Plus there isn't any real recognition of platinum elite membership. I should've stayed at the Westin down the street.
This hotel seems very modern. The lobby is very upscale and there are markets attached to it.
You can walk from your hotel pool to Waikiki Beach on foot.
It is not a hotel facing the beach but I enjoy Hawaiian.
The front lobby is also on the open floor, with Starbucks right next to it
I can do tea time while feeling the wind.
We had dinner at arancino and it was delicious! Definitely recommend coming here if you are in the mood for Italian. We had the uni pasta, scampi, and scallop carpacio and all three I would recommend!
Fantastic hotel. It has everything you need and more. The service is outstanding, air conditioner as much as you want, very secured, the swimming pools are clean and jacuzzi has got worm water. I am absolutely impressed with the hospitality the hotel offers to their clients.
This hotel is very lovely but didn't even have a microwave in the room. Even 2-star inns have microwaves! At $200 per night... come on... really? When we inquired about a microwave, staff said we could rent one for $10 additional per day. How shameful and low class!
Pros: Close to Waikiki beach.
Cons: Unfriendly staff (rude, unhelpful), special requests are ignored (pay for a king, get two doubles), housekeeping is lackadaisical (garbage not removed from room for 4 days), not very clean, loud, balconies lack privacy.
Bottom line: 5 star prices with 2 star ammenities. Hard to understand how they stay in business with so much competition close by. Stay elsewhere.
Close to the beach with friendly staff and with good amenities.
Went to the banquet room for a wedding. The food is delicious!!
I liked the food and the experience. The workers were very kind.
Went here on our honeymoon, they treated us great and left us a fun gift basket and upgraded us to an ocean view room which was awesome. Within walking distance of all kinds of shops, the beach, and restaurants. They've got a car rental place in the lobby which we used to rent a nice convertible for the day and were quite happy with the while experience! The photo is of the view we had from our balcony. It was great to go out and watch the sunset over the ocean. Our room was clean and we felt well taken care of.
Very nice, highly recommended if you like staying in Waikiki. Nice pools and ambience.
Stayed here for work. A great resort with tons of shops and good restaurants. Amenities are great. Recommend valeting for the extra $5/day.
Other than given someone's else's room at check in and the pool side dining everything else was great.
Second time here this year. Remodeled ocean front rooms are awesome. Friendly service oriented staff can't be beat. This is why I came back, and will again and again.
It s a great location by some of the rooms need a little TLC...I would stay there again. The pool area has great fries!
I booked a certain type of room class and when I got there they changed what was offered. no level of protest changed my situation. only stayed one night
Everything was nice except the rooms. Very outdated and in need of a refurbishment.
Customer service over the phone was awful!!! I called front desk to ask a quick question about my reservation and she directed me to Marriotts telephone line. Waited on hold for 35 just to ask one question that the front desk could ve answered.
The people are really nice, rooms are a little out dated, and the shower is kind of small. But overall it is well kept, clean, and if you need anything the people are here and provide great service.
Just a review of their terrace bar and pool area - amazing for a cocktail, music and watching the sun set on Waikiki beach.
Average dated rooms but very sufficient. Love the locality to the beach however is a bit of a walk to downtown Waikiki
Stunning lobby area, and keeping Marriott high standard of facilities and hospitality with just a road away from the beach!
Excellent!!! When you 1st arrive your welcome with a lei. We arrived 3 days before our cruise date
The staff of employees made our stay joyous
Their knowledge of the restaurants in the resort was sensational! The room was magnificently comfortable, clean, with all the necessities one would have at home, if not more. This Resort is outstanding!! We loved their Bar and Grilled by the poolside, live band, delicious food and awesome drinks. You're right at the beach!! Enjoy!!
The Mariott's
staff was very cranky at us when we checked in and she was not friendly, I can understand too much work for her because the place was very busy. My wife and I was not very happy with the room that we booked, the bed sheets was very damp and itchy, the room is very small and out of date with cost $244 per night. Let just compare with Hyatt, the Mariott can't beat. The room we got I would said, it is simmilar to Motel 6. The only nice thing about this place is walk across street is the beach. I would recommended stay at Hyatt , just down the street. I hope that help to all of you.
Very nice and very good attention. Excellent sea view
Needs updating. Leaky bathroom, old bed. But great location and view
This place is fantastic! The lobby area is open on all sides and the concierge was lots of help with tours, figuring out where to keep our luggage until check in time, and arranging transportation. The Marriott is right on the beach and you can walk to it easily. There are many shops and a few restaurants as part of the property. We ate at the grill which was great and a reasonable price for Hawaii. My only regret was not being on site long enough to enjoy all the amenities and the view of the beach from our 22nd floor balcony.
The service was great and the place was clean. Beautiful view of ocean and sunset
Awesome hotel, with great views. Close to lots of resturants bars, and of course the beach
Loved the 4bed setting we had. The ocean view was great too!
It was a good hotel though it was slightly off center.
Excellent location
It's not too noisy and I can spend it slowly.
A place where you can enjoy everything about Waikiki. Beach, shopping, tours, walks, relaxation and more.
The response of the Japanese staff was very good, but the response of the woman guiding the seats at the breakfast venue was poor. I used it three times, but was told a very bad seat near the entrance. Looking at it, it seems that it is guiding bad seats to Asians, especially Japanese, and guiding good seats to Westerners. It can't be overlooked as a discriminatory treatment when it comes to being Japanese. Unfortunately for Marriott Juan! The manager should keep a close eye.
Great location, Amazing attentive staff, always looking to provide you w/ quality service. Comfortable, clean & spacious rooms (*K Tower). Lots of onsite amenities, including shopping, multiple restaurants, pool area, bars, etc.. I'll definitely be returning!
Great location plenty of amenities however lots of little hidden daily costs at check in. Otherwise awesome place to stay literally right across the street from Waikiki beach
Unbelievable resort, kid friendly and the breakfast buffet the best in Maui hands down!!
I stayed 2 nights at the Marriot. The Check In was a mad house, but the front desk people was courteous and patient. I love the clean rooms. Its was a nice staycation. I love the fact that there are so many resturants and places to go within the facility. Checking out was a breeze! I would love to come back soon!
The rooms are super clean and the workers were all very polite.
Needs some updates....staff is responsive to guests requests. Make sure you know what view your room has.....some not so good.
