This is a nice hotel and all the workers were nice. The hotel isn't on the ocean front but it is still in a great spot even though there is one hotel between it and the water. The $45 for valet parking is really expensive but despite that the great location and hotel makes this place a lot better

The visit was just for Sansei. The pricing was a little bit high but not anything too outrageous. It's restaurant is connected to the steakhouse as well by a bar in the middle which is quite cool. The amount of sushi you get is not worth the price in terms of taste to quantity. The chef's choice sashimi platter costed $30 with decent pieces. Overall, I was still hungry after spending ~$100 for 4 people so that was disappointing.

Right on the beach. You can't beat these views. Mountains, sunset, or sunrise and Diamond Head. And that ocean! The resort has everything. Shopping, food, pool, jacuzzi, did I mention that view?

I have stayed here many times. The resort is nice but not amazing. If you very a good view it makes it way better. Typical of Hawaii, there is a daily resort fee and parking even if you booked your room with points.

It was nice but I have stayed in nicer..The staff was great the room clean. Why not 5 stars part of it is because of price but the other part is it just really wasn't exciting in anyway. It's the same old same I know that may sound petty but after reviewing all the different places around the world where I have stayed you look for that so.ething special and it wasn't here. Now to say there is a issue wouldn't be true like I said the staff and everything was great but?. I hope that makes some sense to anyone reading this. Now if you are goi g to waikiki I would recommend this hotel but be prepared for the price and the same old same.

When my husband and I initially checked into this Marriott for our honeymoon, our greeting was lackluster & disappointing. The woman who checked us in immediately TOLD US our room JUST OKAY & we would be happier if we upgraded to the newly renovated room for another 125-175/night for a ttl 775. Thus, our rm WAS NOT what I expected & it was desc as an 'ocean view' it was actually a lean out to the banister and look to the right view. I was MAD & sent a detailed msg via their FB pg the day after we arrived. By the next morning they had us in a true 'Ocean View' for no addtl fee, a bottle of champagne and strawberries. That is what I call making things right. Bravo to Charmayne. she was incredibly apologetic and our honeymoon was amazing. Thank you Charmayne. We will remain Marriott customers because of you!

I liked this hotel, staff is very friendly and their are tons of little shops in the hotel so you can just walk down stairs if you don't feel like walking a lot. The rooms are great and I have to say the balcony view is awesome. Some reviewers said the noise from the traffic below was horrible but what do you expect when you're in the largest city in hawaii? I actually didn't think it was that bad and I got used to it. The only thing I disliked was the slow check in and high internet prices, otherwise I loved the stay!

Absolutely PERFECT stay for our honeymoon. We were supposed to go to Punta Cana for our trip but due to the hurricane we had to change our plans the day before we were supposed to leave. So thankful that we were able to find such an amazing hotel the day before we arrived. Upon check-in we were given a free upgrade to an Ocean View room (we had booked a City View due to the last minute booking). We were so thankful for that as the views were amazing and the side we were on gave a perfect view to the sunrise :)
All of the staff was so friendly and helpful. We also received breakfast vouchers and a spa discount card. The hotel is VERY clean and the house keeping crew was always friendly in the morning when we left for the day.
Visit the restaurants in the hotel - they ALL have amazing food and service. Pools were never over crowded and the servers were attentive to us next to the pool. While we had originally planned our honeymoon to be "kid free" it really wasn't as bad as we expected to be at a family hotel. We were able to relax at the pool and because it was so open we never felt like it was too loud. We went to the beach almost every day - right across the street and was never over crowded when we went! They keep the beach very clean as well as the picnic tables and sidewalks in front - they do daily cleaning every morning!
Also, visit the spa in the hotel! We got a couples deep tissue massage and it was the BEST that we have had! I went back 2 days later to get a facial. They are so friendly there and are really good at what they do! You won't be disappointed!
Overall - we could not have been happier with our stay here. We had an amazing honeymoon for booking on such short notice and have no complaints about our trip.
Thank you so much for making our honeymoon so amazing and relaxing!

So far my stay had been amazing. I'll be here for 4 nights. The proximity to Waikiki beach is unparalleled. You walk out of the hotel and across the street. The staff has been extremely nice and i haven't had any complaints.

Don't take the SpeediShuttle!

Take a cab, if you want to get there from the airport in under an hour.

We had a great stay, and Marriott Elite Gold members will likely get an upgrade, and you get 2 Free drinks per day, and a free breakfast / brunch which is really quite nice.

I've stayed here a couple times now, great location with either a view of Diamond Head or the Ocean with awesome sunsets up to 25 floors high. Convenient walk to the beach, zoo, shopping and eateries...

I only went there to drop off luggage for some friends but we had about 3 cars filled with luggage and were in and out in less than ten minutes. In the time we were there, about 10 people came to help us. It made everything so much smoother and convenient. I also love the big metal orchids they have on the walls. That is my grandma's favorite flower.

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my time here. Starting with the wonderfully decorated, spacious lobby that served as a nice, comfortable meeting place. Delightful & accomodating front desk staff (especially Jacob, who was very informative in regards to recomendations on where to & where not to go for food/attractions/transportation, etc...), to the pleasant & present housekeeping staff (thanks so much Gertruda...). Just about every staff person we interacted with was friendly & courteous. The room: The view from the balcony was awe inspiring, the beds clean & comfy, the bathroom was not scary. In house retaurants were great. Accessibility to convenience store/gift shop on site was fantastic. Pool/hot tub was beautiful. Did not utilize the spa/fitness center for lack of time, but I assume they are top notch as well. If you do not enjoy your stay here, that is because you do not want to. Mahalo Waikiki Beach Marriott! Made this a really unforgettable trip to Hawaii at CHRISTmastime!!

Not bad compared to other Marriott properties, but not the best. I'd be interested to see what it looks like after the renovation. The staff were friendly, especially after I checked in after 2300. This is a resort and you are charged a resort fee for each night. I'm not a fan of that since you're right next to the beach and there are other islands, and parts of the island, that provide a better resort experience.

It is a massive property that connects two towers. In the middle are the pools, lounging area, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious but they are a bit dated. I opted for the breakfast buffet which was okay...it is a buffet.

Overall, not my first choice...I think the Laylow is a better hotel and value. But, I wouldn't steer away from this property if you're looking to stay here.

This is our first time here and I must say is the best place to stay in Waikiki. The amenities are better than the more expensive Hilton hawaiian village. The full size 24 hour gym is great. Towels are easy and pleantiful. The pools are okay, but the beach is right there so you can enjoy that too. Proximity to the park is great and accessibility way better than the other side of Waikiki. Hydration stations saved a lot on buying bottles water and kept plastic usage down. The lobby is inviting and welcoming for you to just lounge around instead of being limited to your hotel room.

Great location, we paid extra for the ocean view and it's definitely worth it. Several cool restaurants on property, but most don't open till 5pm. If you want a drink before 5 your only real option is the pool bar. It's pretty nice and Randy will take pretty good care of you. If you like to play golf there is a golf course super clise.

Hotel was in a great spot and nice inside apart from a little dated.
My issue is with the construction noise going all day, dryers in the hall ways are very loud, maids yelling from room to room while cleaning, the pool had huge amounts of Chlorine, constant issues with tv / netflix.

Manager waved our resort fees after we complained but all in all these things really effected our sleep and relaxing time.

The hotel offers culteral activities and wellness classes every morning as well as a breakfast buffet. They have two towers each with thier own pool and fitness center. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is located across the street from the beach. If you want to explore more of the island there is an enterprise car rental connected to the hotel. The only downside is the noise levels from street activities and traffic make it downright impossible to sleep during the day. It dies down a little after 10pm.

A Marriott that is slowly renovating itself. Our room wasn't what we had ordered and being peak Holiday season, there was no way to rectify this mistake. The elevators broke down on Christmas day, leaving only two running out of six in the main tower. Major cluster **** . However, location, location, location...is the saving grace to this resort.
