Wachusett Brewing Company Review

Local bar, good food. Even on a Friday night we were served quickly. Everyone there was nice, and dogs are allowed outside which is cool. The place is clean and has a nice ambiance. Definitely recommend!

They have a number of local bands that play at this place. There beer is good and alot of places to hang out with friends

The welcoming me and my friend received at the Wachusett Brewing Company was absolutely unprofessional and downright embarrassing.
I had a friend in from another state and she was very excited about trying the Wachusett brewery company, upon looking at our IDs The wait staff had concerns that the out-of-state ID was not real and instead of just offering non alcoholic beverages for food they called over the manager which then implied that the ID was not real and proceeded to ask my friend for her Facebook information so he could look on her Facebook.
My friend being embarrassed and mortified and not wanting to cause a scene obliged and the manager then proceeded to look through her Facebook and ask further personal questions right in the middle of the restaurant in front of everybody absolutely embarrassing and uncalled for at that point we decided we did not want to eat there and we will not ever want to eat there again. PS I just want to make it clear I am not angry that her ID was questioned I am angry in the manor that it was questioned, and the why we were treated!!! If I could give 0 stars I would

Great brewery near Mt. Watchusett in central Massachusetts. Had a great lunch here outdoors. The team did a GREAT job transferring to outdoor seating to maintain social distancing parameters, while taking advantage of the new England summer. Beers are great, and food was good for a brewery. The only thing was that food took a little while, but overall, would definitely visit again and would love to do a tour when things are back to normal!

Beer garden in the woods is a perfect place to chill out!

Cool brew garden like nothing else. Drinking under the tree canopy, not a tent canopy. And the Wally Juice is super good. Oh yeahhhhh I'm coming back.

Great place to have a few. No tvs displayed but they do have a few for the games. Games complimentary. Great selection of beer. Closing at 8 seems to soon but overall great place

Best craft brews you'll find anywhere. Love the atmosphere and service. Great menu of pub food too! Live music on weekends. All around great place.

This was my first time at Wachusett brewery and it is honestly such a great place. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, the food is bomb and their beer is fire. Plus the atmosphere is to die for.

Great experience! Grabbed a few different brews, mainly in a flight. Favorites were the Latte Da stout and the ever so classic, Quinn's. Everyone I was was with enjoyed their food, also. We got a variety, from the pretzel to chicken fingers, tacos and the chicken avocado blt. Great time all around!

1st time there and would come back if I was in the area again nice outside seating. Of all the places I have been by far the best service and ordering process I have seen during this entire pandemic. Only take credit cards and you receive a card with qr code to scan to access menu and a number to text to order and a very simple ordering process since its a very simple menu with each option having a number.

Amazing time. Band could have been better!! Good music just not played well. Food very good. People friendly and fun !!!

Great beer good (bar type) food and an awesome atmosphere with games music and dog friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating and an expanded beer list makes it a really fun night. Recommend going at off hours unless you really like crowds. Wachusett hit a home run with this place. Every guest I bring loves it here.

Drove down from NH as I found you could still get the strawberry white In growlers. Huge mistake. I have no idea how they can call this strawberry it Tastes like stale beer. I know they messed up the real batch. But this stuff is not even close. Please get it right before you try to pass this swill if a strawberry white.

The automatic ordering system failed so we waited 40 minutes and had to tell the waiters twice. Overall not bad, but not good.

Loved it! The staff was super friendly and the craft beer selection was vast and on point! There's a cool food truck that makes pub type food that's really good and there's a tasting room where you can try before you buy that's pretty awesome!

My husband and I went there yesterday to eat out side. Everyone was very nice, food was great (we had the pizza for the first time).
I have to say everything was flawless in the way the set it up to order and pay.
Can't wait to go again!

the only reason it's getting four stars is because I'm just not happy with the price of beers lately. I can get a beer if I buy it at a store for a little over a dollar in a glass bottle. I just don't like the fact that I have to pay $5 a whack to get a beer. I just think the upcharge is extremely outrageous so that's why you lose a star other than that this place is awesome. The bar inside is awesome. The bar outside it's awesome obviously better during nice weather but all in all the atmosphere is totally cool chill great food and a nice place to hang out for a little while. And also drink amazing beer.

The beers are great. Green Monsta and Mass Soul are great place to start. The outside seating with the tables is fantastic. The dry rub wings are great as a food item. Totally worth a trip. Great brewery.

Good food and beer of course!! Sitting at the bar service was slow as the bartenders focused on the people standing in line to go back to the tables. Had to get up and stand in the line to get a beer once. Maybe need waitresses for the tables!

The food is pretty awful and overpriced. I think they have a chance to be the spot in this area with amazing beer and food but they need to step up the food game big time. BUT the BEER is AWESOME. The beer is brewed at this location and they have a really large selection of beers from IPAs to stouts to lagers.

Beers were fantastic but have to take a card just to sit down. Then automatically add a 20% tip for no service. Could have mentioned that on their website or when you sat down. Everything is a text to order which is fine for Covid but I don t think that s deserving for 20% tip automatically added to your bill.

I was there for the 1st time today. Nice feel to the place. The HUGE DOWNFALL was waiting 1 hour 15 minutes for the fried buffalo cauliflower and pork sliders and they were COLD. If you like beer this place has a great bar.

The text ordering system was really bad, we waited 40min for our order and received the wrong food twice. Other than that, the venue is quite nice and the food was alright. Would love to see this place improve.

Drinks are great but food takes 1h30m which is a total blow. Would much rather get their canned drinks instead at the store. We placed an order for the food and when they told us it'll be 1.5hrs, we asked to cancel it immediately within minutes but they still charged us for it. If you are going to serve 1.5hrs from now then why even offer food? If you are want to follow MA covid-19 guidelines then at least make the food service better. Hard pass, there are other breweries with better covid-19 compliance.

I had an amazing time. This place has been on my want to go to for a while list. If it's on yours go. It was raining today and it was still very nice date night. I had a footloose burger and a boo yea beer both were amazing. I want to go back.
My only complaint was I was getting attacked by flys the whole time while eating if u fix that this place is amazing to go to.

The worst service ever. The manager was rude and very disrespectful would never ever ever go back there and there was 15 of us. Hey we are told we had to pay 18% of a tip that we didn t even get any service with

This place was great! I want to come back every week! There's a nice shady grove to drink and eat delicious stuff while you chill. It's the perfect post-quarantine outing. They're as contactless as possible with a cool phone based ordering system. I felt safe and had an amazing time!

Service was amazing! Tried several new beers. My two favorites were the Latte Da and Willy Dilly, enjoyed the spicy pickle they added. We decided to have a quick snack and we chose the pretzel and it did not disappoint!

I have been to many breweries, and this is no question the best one. Awesome food, great beer, and even better people. Get the blueberry beer.. you won't regret it!

The beer was fantastic. But with that said, the logistics of ordering needs improvement. As it stands, I recommend ordering a beer, then getting right back in line so that by the new time you are done you will be near the front of the line. The parking could be better too. I parked in the mud out back, and with so many other people parked on the sides of the main road, I couldn't see to get out.

Definitely a happening place. Great beer, great music I was tempted to try something different but I stayed with my favorite- Wachusett Blueberry.

There are times that I am let down by the fact that I can only give 5 stars. Quite frankly, they have probably the best brewery experience in Central Massachusetts. The food is wonderful, there is a beer for everyone, and it is extremely dog-friendly. I don't bring my dog but I like the fact that I could. if you enjoy going to breweries, and you haven't been here, there's something wrong with you. Even in today's current " new normal " they provide a superior experience.

OMG!!!! The Brew Yard at Wachusett Brewing is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Unique bar in Airstream with well over 10 taps of awesome Wachusett brews. Good truck offering delicious apps and sandwiches. Cool atmosphere with Octoberfest feel. Open fire pit with Adirondacks and corn hole games. Great place to relax and hang out. The Brew Yard is also dog friendly.

A great craft brew selections and an amazing food truck. The outdoor areas and the indoor tap house were set up very nicely.

Finally came to check out the new brew yard. We shared a flight and a giant pretzel, then stayed for a pint and a playoff football game. Wish they had a stout or porter on tap. I think they have a few kinks to work out, but overall we had a great time and will be back!

Good Beer, Terrible Service

My family and I visited the brewery this past weekend and encountered terrible service from the "wait" staff and rude bar tenders. The food is meh, no silverware at the table, no customer service. I guess Wachusett Brewing Company goal is to pack as many people in and extract as much money as they can with as little customer care/service as possible. Wachusett Beer has come along way since Thursday nights at Partner's Pub in Fitchburg, too bad they lost their soul.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Excellent choice of beers. Large outdoor sitting area. Lovely on a warm summer's evening.

Had to change my rating after the recent price increase, was a bit shocked when my favorite beer went from $5 to $8. Used to be worth the trip out, but not so much now.

Great set up, kid friendly and love the app ordering. They are also good about social distancing. Can't wait to good back. Oh, yes the food and drink were awesome!!

Great setup. Nice bar area with live music. Option to buy their beers in a few different vessels including 32 and 64 Oz Growlers. Some food but pretty basic.

How about telling people you were closed on the Fourth of July. I checked the website, the Facebook entry AND called the Brew yard. None of them mentioned that you were closed. So I drove twenty minutes out of my way. Don't tell me that you couldn't plan in advance. You just didn't care. Thanks for your indifference to your customer.

PS. The phrase, "the Fourth of July may affect hours" is a weasel word salad. You can do better than that. It's a shame because you can be good.

As expected, beer is great. Great service from bar tenders are great. Food is not gourmet, but more than expected for bar food.
Oddly, their store does not carry their own Fast Eddie Rootbeer. Luckily, the bar sold us a case.

Finally made it out to one of the "OG" breweries in the area. Can't believe it took this long but it was worth the wait! I understand the facility has grown leaps and bounds in the last few years and from what I can see they're doing a great job. Great atmosphere and, according to the staff, even more improvements to come!...Definitely worth a visit

Wicked awesome atmosphere. Great selection of bars. Perfect place to hang out, even with family because there's some awesome yard games and other games to hang around and play!
